I was forced to find a new one that was covered due to some extenuating circumstances. I have to admit, I feel that Esther is a Godsend. Seriously, coming from another office can be a bit frightening as it comes to mental wellness. I mean, you spend time getting to know someone and suddenly you're having to share all over again. I am aware of their cancellation fee and it is true it is $65. One day, I was running behind and called them to see whether it would be best to cancel. The office staff advised me that it would be best to show up even if I were late, save myself the late cancellation fee. I know they text and call to remind me of upcoming appointments with enough time to cancel in a timely manner if I should need to do so. So, the fee? That's all on me, if I'm a no show. At first, I had a few frustrations. For instance, their need for a card on file (for the cancellation fees), at the time I started visiting here, I didn't have any cash at all and the thought of giving them my card really upset me. I got over it. The exercises and the support offered has been monumental in my care. Esther has done a wonderful job in assisting me in assisting myself. I have recommended this office to others based on my experience. My understanding is not all of the providers have openings and not all of them accept the same insurance. I have visited a great deal of counselors in my lifetime and I feel it's very important to find one that fits your needs. For me, this office does and I am willing to drive out of my way to continue my care here.

Clients reported they enjoy the flexibility of being able to participate in programming as well as work on independent skills to help them become financially secure, Most clients return if they leave the program prematurely and experience other programs. Most reported that they feel that the clinic allows them to be creative within. Reporting as well that they really feel that staff cares about their wellbeing.

The biggest issue with this organization is the significant disconnect between what it says it…read morevalues and how it actually operates. The organization promotes a culture of compassion, support, and client-centered care, but the day-to-day reality often felt like maintaining a positive image was prioritized over addressing legitimate concerns. Employees were routinely expected to give more than they were compensated for, including completing work outside of paid hours. Rather than acknowledging the unsustainable demands being placed on staff, leadership fostered a culture of "toxic positivity" where concerns were often minimized, reframed, or treated as a mindset issue rather than valid feedback. Positivity is not a substitute for accountability, and a workplace cannot solve systemic problems by simply encouraging employees to have a better attitude. The turnover rate among staff should be viewed as a serious warning sign. When experienced employees repeatedly leave, the appropriate response is to examine the working conditions, leadership practices, and organizational decisions contributing to that pattern. Instead, there appeared to be an expectation that staff should tolerate the same issues that caused others to leave. Most concerning was the impact this environment had on client care. In a mental health setting, decisions should consistently be guided by what is ethically and clinically in the best interest of clients. Unfortunately, there were times when organizational priorities appeared to outweigh clinical considerations. This creates a difficult environment for clinicians who entered the field to provide quality care and advocate for the people they serve. A healthy mental health organization requires leadership that listens to staff, respects boundaries, supports clinicians, and is willing to acknowledge problems rather than dismiss them. Ultimately, this organization taught me that a workplace can use the language of wellness, compassion, and positivity while still failing to create an environment where employees feel valued and where clients' needs consistently come first. Meaningful change requires more than slogans--it requires accountability, transparency, and a willingness to address uncomfortable truths.

But, drinking a pot of coffee is not always the answer and at the age of 39 I took the advice of my doctor of 10 years. His waiting room is small and has many magazines on the human mind. With the stack of issues there you could with enough time figure out and identify your own disorder thus bypassing the need for your co-pay. I did not have to wait long so I didn't have a chance to dive into the arena of self-diagnosis. His office staff is very polite with a good sense of humor, as it should be. They do no shake hands in this office, as one of the staff had an organ transplant, and thus wishes not to be sick. While this office rule surprised me if it was my heart I would do the same. Dr. Fox has been in practice for 20 plus years and it shows. You walk into his office and there is the common couch and chair, he sits by the window. All three times I met with him he did not use any electrical light but chose to use the natural light from outside. The setting is very relaxing and due to the location of the office and building there is very little noise from the other offices. It backs to a huge pond and is well also very relaxing to see this. He asked me why I had come to see him and answered him with truth. He asked about my early life and family and progressed to current work, life and family. Never once did he seem bored or distracted by the stream of information he was asking for. He is very soft spoken with no air of you're the patient and I'm the doctor. We are just talking and it felt like a conversation. He has a good sense of humor and smiles in agreement with answers or remarks. The next visit was a 3 1/2 hour test which will or won't be paid for by your insurance the office staff will do the checking for you. This test is taken in the waiting room and takes a long time. It's to see if you have add, hyperactivity or other disorders. My suggestion is bring a snack and a drink if you ask the staff they will give you want out of the cooler. After I was done with my test it was given to the staff and I paid my co-pay and I left. Two weeks later I received my call and they had the results. I came in reviewed the test sheet agree and they gave me a copy of the results. It was just as I had believed, I had ADD without AADHD and I was a well adjusted person. I was then asked to check to see if they spelled everything correct and the city I was born in was spelled wrong by American standards but spelled correct in Gaelic, I pointed this out and he thought it was amusing. We then discussed the test results and at the end I said, I do not believe there is a reason to see you again. For people whom need more than 3 sessions to find a solution or their issues consider this, you are paying for the attention of your doctor. You are paying for a trained audience to give you feedback for your personal issues. You get out of it what you put into it. If I should need to talk to another professional I will return to the care of Dr. Fox I felt he does have the best concerns for his patients.

All the people that see Dr fox that I've personally talked to have really opened up to him and love him too. Whats great about dr fox's is that even if you don't have insurance he sees his clients at a reasonable discounted price which is great definitely a thumbs up so you're basically getting what you paid for and 10x more. He always spends more time with you if you need it. You're never paying for the full amount without insurance. He's awesome. In February of 2023, I sat on his couch an emotional wreck and completely disregulated from my traumas. They were unpacked because of brain injury and couldn't get out of bed the entire month before. I knew I needed help and feel I was divinely guided to Kyle. From our first session he started making a profound impact as he guided me through Internal Family Systems (IFS) helping me "lean in" to my hard emotions and my parts pleading to be seen and heard. He efficiently guided me through deep trauma without disassociating so I could feel to process. Introduced me to positive coping skills yet learned (I had a wealth of them when I walked in). He also showed me how to reparent and love my parts. Mostly, Kyle is honest, transparent, and trustworthy. Fast forward weekly sessions for a year and a half a full sized pool worth of tears and here I am standing in my power again. Tolerant to my traumas in ways I never imagined I could be.
