In the morning it's pretty full with almost all the treadmills taken and the weight room pretty full. Surprising for such a small town! The treadmills are not as new as my gym anytime but they suffice I was not expecting much since it was a smaller town. They have all the weights you could desire but their curl bar was outdated (I prefer the larger grip bars not the thinner) . All in all it was nice to be able to work out in a small town!! The price was a little on the expensive side 20 dollars a week which I negotiated from 6 dollars each time

The Legend Rock petroglyphs are about 30 miles northwest of Thermopolis. On Highway 120, drive for…read morealmost 22 miles until you reach the brown sign indicating the left turn to the petroglyphs. A smooth dirt road leading to a left turn at Legend Rock Road will take you to the small one-room interpretive center and parking area. From there, it's a short walk to the line of petroglyphs -- supposedly, almost 300 -- that are easy to find, especially with the help of the numbered markers. The age of the images, in the Dinwoody style reflecting the Big Horn and Wind River geographic areas, range from 100 years old to about 11,000 years old. There are many large images that are quite distinct and vibrant. It's easy to capture photos of your favorites. If you're in the Thermopolis or Cody area, detour here for some great unexpected surprises.

I've kayaked several times but never here in Wyoming, and never with my 3-year-old in tow, so I had loads of questions. Rusty at Rent Adventure was quick to reply and had great info! I booked online which was super easy. I especially like the option to get text updates and add to my calendar. When the day of fun arrived, I was quite pleased by the very friendly young man working the shop. He was nice to my toddler and took care of loading the kayak into the shuttle for us. A quick shuttle ride to Wedding of the Waters and we were ready for fun! The river is nice and mellow, great for kids. You can paddle or just float and let the river carry you. We opted for the short ride which took 2 hours. I paddled pretty fast most of the time because my little passenger demanded "Mommy, go fast!" If you don't paddle much the current will take you back to the shop in around 4 hours. When we made it back, the nice young man fetched the kayak for me since I was only able to get it to the grassy knoll on my own. He really is a friendly employee and such a hard worker! Whether you're a total beginner or an expert, you'll have a great time. Don't feel like paddling? I saw a bunch of really nice giant tubes you can rent too. Maybe I'll try that next time, because there definitely will be a next time!
