There were a number of items for sale in the office - some beautiful quilts caught my eye, and the husband and wife team who run the place are so helpful and friendly. We needed a mobile rv repairman while we were there and they helped us find a great one. We had to extend our stay because the part we needed was delayed and they worked to let us stay in our original site. The sites are roomy, the hookups are conveniently located and in good working order, and the park is neat as a pin. The sites are all graveled and they were working on some lovely landscaping during our stay. When we arrived we were loaned a booklet with amazing day trips we could enjoy during our stay. What a great idea! It is obvious that the owners care about their guests as well as their park. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting for a longer time next year. We try to visit this park at least once a year, but unfortunately, we missed coming last year. We…read morefinally made it back, and while our trip started out a little rough--our 30-amp cord wasn't working, and it was 30 degrees outside--we were quickly reminded why we love this place. We couldn't find anywhere nearby to buy a new cord and were getting pretty frustrated. I contacted the weekend manager, who reached out to the owner, Dave. He and his wife were absolutely amazing! They came over right away with a cord to try, and even though that one didn't work either, Dave spent about half an hour with my husband trying to troubleshoot the problem. When it looked like we might have to drive two hours back home, Dave and his wife generously offered us a cabin for the night so we'd have a warm place to stay. Their kindness and hospitality went above and beyond. They're also making some wonderful updates to the park, and it's exciting to see it returning to the charm it had years ago. We're so grateful for the care they showed us and can't wait to come back again!

They sent me home with information on each rock set I purchased, along with some guidence on how to find the same rocks myself in the future. Eddy is an encylopidea when it comes to rocks! The trucks and m/c are loud and go late into the night. We also had an issue with an obnoxiously bright street light - not the fault of the proprietor but again we'd request the inner lane away from the highway. There were two that we liked and finally chose the one, telling the girl on the floor which one we wanted. It was a great situation since a family member in another town could go to their local Haskell to help pay for the couch as a gift. We were even lucky enough to get a discount since we were not financing. Arrangements were made for delivery in two days, the couch was paid for at another location, and delivery was on its way. When the couch arrived it was the wrong couch, that was $100 less than the one that we had chose. The girl had written down all the wrong information and had the wrong couch delivered. It was handy because it was local and I could go back over and correct the error. However, When I went back to the store to show her the correct couch that I wanted and to make arrangements for that to be delivered and the other one removed, the girl then asked for me to pay the difference in the couch that she was incorrect in ordering and made no attempt at trying to make it right other than to say I thought you wanted the other couch repeatedly. The manager stood right there corrected it on the invoice and also did not make any gesture towards trying to make anything right or make this easy on me. As a result of their error I was out an additional $150 which included the increase in the couch and a $35 removal fee of my couch, and the couch exchange was to occur the following day which was a Saturday forcing me to change all of my plans for the weekend because of their error. It wasn't until I pushed the issue and asked that they do something to make this right that she waived the $35 removal fee. The following day they showed up with a new couch an hour and a half later than what they told me making me again late for the my plans I had to already reschedule. I was very disappointed in the way the staff addressed the situation and will not be shopping there again unless there is different staff or different policy in place. I was also very disappointed in the manager who stood there during the entire exchange, and I knew personally, she never said a word to me. So much for shopping locally and getting Hometown service. Next time I will go out of town.

And I said well I really need a couch, she helped me out very politely and quickly. She got me a really nice couch for a very affordable price. Even got it to be delivered to my doorstep. I can't remember her name.... but I know it was something like dorry.. but I will say if you want great prices and a great sales person she's your gal to get you all your needs.
