Fort Sullivan - Gunsmith/ gun shop

Apparently gunsmith is becoming a lost craft and there are hardly anyone who can do quality work anymore. We couldn't be more impressed with the results. Alex took the time to explain what needed to be done, provided an accurate estimate, and completed the job on schedule. The firearm functions perfectly now -- smooth action, clean finish, and everything feels solid and precise. The craftsmanship and attention to detail were outstanding. From the moment we walked into the store, Alex was knowledgeable and clearly passionate about his work. My friend's antique firearm given to him from his grandfather when he was a child now functions flawlessly, with smooth action and improved performance. On the sales side, Alex was knowledgeable and helpful in guiding us through his inventory. He had both new and used on consignment. He took the time to answer all our questions and made sure my friend found exactly what he was looking for. The pricing was fair, and the buying process was smooth and straightforward. Excellent service all around -- whether you're in need of expert gunsmithing or looking to purchase a new firearm, I highly recommend Alex Imports. Let him know you read this online review and he will get a kick out of it. Alex offers shooting lessons as well so call first to save yourself a trip and be sure the shop is open. Hours are typically Tuesday through Friday from 1pm to 4pm.

My friend made a comment to me about how I could always just learn the hard way with an uncomfortable pack and I knew I definitely didn't want to do that. I've done short treks with poor gear, and I knew I didn't want to do anything longer or heavier. When I finally decided to move forward with my Kifaru purchase, I was shocked at how helpful the customer service was! I'm a 110 pound female and was a little nervous about getting the right pack. They gave us some tests to do for the curvature of the back and asked some questions to make sure we got the correct frame. They also made sure that I ordered an extra small waist and they said they could make it smaller if needed too. When my pack showed up, I knew I made a good decision. It is so durable, yet comfortable. I've only taken it out a few times, but I love knowing that my shoulders, back, and waist will stay comfortable for miles upon miles, pounds upon pounds. It carries so well. Every person that tries on my pack instantly gets envious. I also love that I can buy other packs to use on my frame. Or I can add all sorts of pockets and other convenient features. Kifaru is legit and I highly recommend it.

I've kayaked several times but never here in Wyoming, and never with my 3-year-old in tow, so I had loads of questions. Rusty at Rent Adventure was quick to reply and had great info! I booked online which was super easy. I especially like the option to get text updates and add to my calendar. When the day of fun arrived, I was quite pleased by the very friendly young man working the shop. He was nice to my toddler and took care of loading the kayak into the shuttle for us. A quick shuttle ride to Wedding of the Waters and we were ready for fun! The river is nice and mellow, great for kids. You can paddle or just float and let the river carry you. We opted for the short ride which took 2 hours. I paddled pretty fast most of the time because my little passenger demanded "Mommy, go fast!" If you don't paddle much the current will take you back to the shop in around 4 hours. When we made it back, the nice young man fetched the kayak for me since I was only able to get it to the grassy knoll on my own. He really is a friendly employee and such a hard worker! Whether you're a total beginner or an expert, you'll have a great time. Don't feel like paddling? I saw a bunch of really nice giant tubes you can rent too. Maybe I'll try that next time, because there definitely will be a next time!
