He is almost reading as he leaves pre-K and has been well prepared for kindergarten. We made lifelong friends during our time here and always felt partnership with the teachers and administration whenever something came up. Covid was a very difficult time, but we got through it and TLE did an amazing job at keeping the children safe, communicating with the parents, and creating an environment of learning even during a pandemic. Shortly after, this person had to leave and we were in need of daycare that would offer care and education for our daughter (who was 2 at the time) that kept up the momentum for how much and quickly our daughter was learning. We eventually came to find TLE in Riverdale, and were so pleased with the initial impression. Through time, our daughter demonstrated continuous learning (started in daycare knowing numbers, letters, shapes, and colors, and now expanded number counting to 30, is able to list colors in Spanish, and always catches her mother and myself by surprise when she demonstrates her growing knowledge). Also, the way that this facility has managed safety and care during the heaviest parts of the COVID pandemic solidified to our family that we had chosen well. Since both her mother and I are considered essential workers, the fact that the daycare has remained open for a huge portion of this time (rarely did they close, but always had safety measures in place) made for a really supportive service. We loved that they also had requirements for the children to wear masks as well as the staff. Overall, there isn't anything negative I can say about this particular daycare. We moved away and had to select a new daycare, but I cannot emphasize enough how positive our experience has been with this facility. We will miss Surbhi, Teresa and all the lovely staff at this location dearly.

The teachers are well trained, very caring and warm. They truly love the children and it shows. My twins love going to "school" everyday. The curriculum is developmentally appropriate and my children have learned so much. I love that the children go outside almost everyday, which I think is very important. I get daily emails that keep my up to date on my children's daily and weekly activities. This daycare feels like a family and I have never once worried about my children while at Rodi. I looked at a lot of daycare centers for my younger child recently and NONE compare to the amazing care that my twins get at Rodi. I highly recommend Rodi Daycare.

They took trips to the park when the weather was nice and celebrated birthdays and holidays all year long. They taught our baby boy so many things! He loved their songs and knows all the movements to the "wheels on the bus." He learned to eat with a fork. They also follow a structured routine that children find comforting because they know what to expect during the day. Each child gets a lot of individualized attention - the teachers get down on the floor and play with the children. This was important to us because children learn through play: making cars move, opening boxes, stacking blocks, etc. The teachers were genuine and they were engaged in developing each child's curiosity and creativity. We recently had to move and were sad to say goodbye to this magical place, but we feel so lucky that our son got off to a great start there.

We are so thankful we made the choice to send her to NRDN. From the start, our daughter always told us how much she loved it there and how much she loved her teachers and her friends from class. In Ms. Allison and Ms. Shante's class, her social-emotional learning and academic development were nurtured in a way that produced results that we could see at home. They are both truly gifted educators and foster a Pre-K environment that teaches students how to be part of a team, while thriving as individuals. In 3-K, our daughter attended Ms. Twana and Ms. Silvana's class. She had an amazing time, learned so much, and we were so impressed with what she accomplished. She built such a strong foundation. The admin team that runs the facility, Ms. Sabrina, Ms. Dawn, and Ms. Karin are excellent and it is apparent that they take great care in the service they provide to their students and families. Both my son and my daughter have received an excellent and safe education here at Ivy Prep in the Bronx. When my child was interviewed for kindergarten, we were told that she is well prepared and will be ahead of her peers with the education and preparation she has received here. My son began his journey with services like OT; PT and SEIT at Ivy prep. They were able to accommodate his service providers within their building and my child was able to receive all of the support he needed. In the Throggs Neck community it is wonderful to have a place like Ivy Prep to prepare your children for a bright and productive future! Highly recommend!!

For starters, the facility is clean and inviting, but the staff and teachers make this place go round. Jade and Tarika are incredible directors. They are always available for a chat - about both good things and concerns - and take the time to get to know each child. They are also extremely vigilant about when a child might be sick, which I appreciate. Additionally, they are responsive via email. I know that if I have a quick question, they are ready, willing and able to help. Lastly, our son loves his teacher, Miss Gia! He has never cried once when we drop him off and a huge smile comes onto his face when we walk into his room! The kids are kept busy (we love the art projects that come home!) and are cared for well. All of the teachers there have really impressed me. Now really the last thing - there's an app that we follow along with each day. It logs everything that is going on with our child, which for a parent, is a god-send. And there are cute pictures sent throughout the day.
