He and I agreed that they would refund a significant portion of the amount paid for the project to my office. I asked to put it in writing and he said we are businesspeople, that a handshake was fine. He would mail us a check. This was in June of 2022. After working extensively with the owner's assistant, we still do not have our refund check. And they are again no longer communicating with us. To say I am disappointed would be a gross understatement. It's not just the money. It's the lack of professionalism, follow-through, and integrity that truly upsets me.
