Hooray to find a post office. Unexpected but convenient to pop in here, pick up ten post card stamps and be on my way in a jiffy. At 3:45 on a Monday evening, there was no queue and the clerk was actually pleasant. A nice surprise! Of course, the stamps cost a fortune but that's a review for the USPS headquarters in Washington not here. They do have a mailbox outside but you'll have to get out of your car to use it. I've been coming here to drop off my mail for the past 3 to 4 years. They started this new thing or Saturdays are closed, which has been really inconvenient. But overall had a good experience! The lady at the front desk was very helpful and explaining all the different types of mail and help me figure out the best option. Parking is definitely a little hard to come by, there's only two spots outside which are free and the rest are paid. So definitely make sure that you come in at a good time, not during peak hours. read more

This is the worst experience in a post office in my life. Long story short, I spent 2h in this place for an international package, because they don't know what they r doing. I was planning to have lunch but when I got out of office it's already dinner time. The deeds: I wanted to ship an international package that's worth 500$ with added insurance. The First Lady showed me shopping and insurance options and asked me to file a customs form. So I did that, and since she was busy I went to another woman to ship the package. But when I asked for added insurance she said the computer wouldn't let her add that. So we spent 30 min watching her figuring out the computer. Finally I asked if I could switch to the first woman I talked to, who showed me the added insurance thing. She said, with raised eyebrows: "didn't u see I just asked her?? Did u see I asked her??" And I said I just want to switch to her because your computer may be broken. She let me switch. So I stood with the First woman who also spent 30 min trying to find the insurance. And this guy came and said the country I'm shipping to doesn't accept that much insurance. And I was worried because the package is expensive and I don't want it to get lost. I asked if he is sure and he said 70$ is the only insurance I can get. And he mentioned:"now other shipping methods can add more insurance." By the time he mentioned that I was already there for 1.5h. I mean what the heck they could've just told me this shipping method doesn't have insurance an hour ago, so I can change to a different one! I said I need to purchase additional insurance at the beginning! The lady said its because she was thinking about domestic shipping... Wow, usps, wow. I will definitely come back because I want extremely SLOW service and employees that know nothing about shipping! read more

This is easily the worst post office I've ever had to deal with. I hate saying this because our usual mail carrier, Mike, is so wonderful. However I can expect to never, ever get my mail on the days Mike isn't working. There's this one carrier who would simply not deliver any packages he can't fit in his mail bag. No doubling back to his van for him. He'll simply leave it for another day. As a guy who gets several packages a month, I'm always tracking my packages to see when I could expect them. There has been a couple of instances where I was tracking a package only to get an update stating a notice was left due to no one being home. The problem with this is not only were there no notice left, but my entire family was home; the carrier simply didn't deliver the package. Then there's the management. I forget her name but there's a supervisor at that branch that has THE worst attitude I've ever experienced. She is absolutely horrible. She don't want to be bothered and she'll let you know it in the way she interacts with you. Simply put I hate the fact that I live in an area where I am to be served by this post office. I live much closer to the Laclede (Marian Oldham) location, but I always drive to this location because it's a MUCH better experience (trust me, do NOT go to the Laclede location). The customer service is always great...in particular, a staff member named Jan is absolutely phenomenal! With the positive attitudes and helpfulness of the staff, it's hard to believe you're in a post office. read more

I had a package that was in-transit at this location and scheduled to be delivered the following day. However, I was leaving town early in the morning and needed the package for my trip. I called the office and the manager personally found my package and allowed me to pickup after the office had closed. Amazing customer service. I could not thank the manager enough. read more

This is my favorite post office. I ship frequently and go to many locations around town (St. Louis Hills, Delmar Loop, Central West End, etc). The staff is friendly and prompt. One time I left a tape gun there. A week later when I came in they reminded me that it was there and pulled it out of a drawer for me. I had no idea that I left it there. A+! read more
