I like to judge a business based on it's owner and their principles. Let me tell you that this owner is super petty. I attended the venue for a MMA fight and have nothing against the promoters of the event but the owner was charging $20 for parking. To enforce it seemed like the cones (at other businesses) were put out by the owner of the venue and not the event promoters. I ended up parking at another business' lot to avoid the $20 parking charge. When I was walking to the event a car pulls up and ask if I parked in the other lot. Thinking he was looking out for me I said yes, asked if it was okay, and how he knew the rules. The guy says "I am the owner... I have tow trucks on call". Pretty petty move if you ask me. You see people who don't want to pay your fee park elsewhere, you take the time to drive over, and then you threaten to tow their car? Scum P.S. I ended up not getting towed which adds to the fact the business owner's character is the lowest of the low. read more

It's 82 degrees out and none of the courts have AC today. We paid our $20 parking and $20 entrance (cash as others have said which I never ever see anywhere at any basketball tournament ) and we are watching our girls sweat to point of exhaustion. They have AC to be clear, they're just taking all the money and letting girls suffer. Feel bad for the refs too. Youth sports are a business, but someone is taking a lot of cash from hundreds of people today for a really dangerous experience. If you're coming here in summer be sure to bring cold cold drinks, cold towels and dress light. read more

In all fairness, my 1-star review regards the harassment and needless bullying I endured for legally parking in a handicap spot using my own valid California DMV issued permanent (blue) parking placard which was displayed hanging from my rear view mirror the entire time. I endured a horrible and humiliating experience today while attending an event for one of my children at this establishment April 1st & 2nd. It was a two-day event over the weekend. We were charged $20 for event parking which was their general rate to park in one of the handicap spots on property the first day even after presenting my valid California-issued handicap placard. Though we disagreed and expressed that, the gentlemen said they could charge for all parking including handicap parking. Still, though we disagreed, we paid it. The second day, the AIM parking lots did not have any available handicap parking (they were all parked up). After driving around for a while in various adjacent lots, I found an open, blue, HANDICAP space available that was the next closest handicap parking space available in the adjacent open (non-gated) Encore lot located right in the blue handicap spot closest to the entrance/exit on the side of the filled handicap parking spaces on the side of the AIM building located right by the side lot entrance/exit. She claimed we couldn't park there in the handicap spot even with a valid placard because that open lot (which doesn't contain gates) was on the grounds of a private business. We reminded her, that my valid disability and valid handicap placard allowed me to park at ANY public and/or private handicap spot that was open and asked her AGAIN to delete all photo(s) of my car/person/personal property. She refused. I asked for her name and she refused to provided it calling her manager who came out without introducing himself and seemed annoyed while repeating the same info about the parking the female originally snapped at us. After, I sat down exhausted from disputing the matter and still confused, I offered to call a lawyer to verify the information. At that point, he did offered us to park at RED curb on the facility which I told him we could not park there because it is illegal. After I asked again why I couldn't just remain parked where we'd already parked, he offered us an open regular spot in the AIM lot which came available near the end of this humiliating display still AFTER we'd already parked in the blue handicap space with which we were satisfied. The space he offered was not handicap as they were all still full and for which (after all that) we were forced to pay another $20 and it was so tight that I almost fell into the bushes trying to get in/out of my car. After harassing us, the female left her post at the back entrance. The entire parking experience was horrible and humiliating. Even when we left hours later, the handicap spaces were still full and at that time, and the parking attendant still hadn't returned to her coveted post. Actually, there was nobody back there "guarding" the entrance and exit that seemed so important enough earlier to neglect to step over to harass us about parking in an open handicap space lit that was connected to that exit in clear view of her seat. Please educate event space renters on proper parking rights for valid handicap placard holders to keep others from being bullied, harassed, and humiliated like my family and I were today. The floors and basketball hoops are nice; however, they didn't condition the space which means when the temperature outside gets relatively low and humid, the inside floors get cool and start to condensate. This condensation on the game floor made our games the most dangerous competitive basketball that I have ever seen and I've been doing this a very long time. This was similar to playing on a damp outdoor court except that the kids were playing like they were on an indoor court. We played Made Hoops circuit games at the Aim sports group and it looked like a blooper reel with kids slipping and falling all over the court. Multiple kids were falling on the same play. Some did the splits. Some kids had their feet just slid out from under them and fall hard. Thankfully the coaches called off the game. It sucks to spend thousands of dollars to get your kid competitive games only to lose out on a full game because the facility was too cheap to heat the space. I like a cool gym, but you have to either dehumidify or increase the heat to increase the dew point above the temperature of the floor. If AIM didn't have any major injuries, they dodged a bullet. Imagine being responsible for high level kids not reaching their potential due to injury because the facility tried to save operating cost to maximize profit. read more

Whenever me and my friends need a place to get some quality hoop runs in, we always go to AIM! The staff is always very friendly and keeps this place in amazing shape. The courts are always clean and there is more than enough space for our big group. Parking is never an issue and the location is a few mins from the freeway as well. Rented courts for my volleyball team for 6 months with AIM Sports Group, specifically dealing with Gary and Billy. The working floor staff is amazing which is why I was considering giving three stars but the attitude and business ethics of the operations manager, Gary, and managing director, Billy, are just outright terrible. My group and I rented the gym from February 2023 to August 2023, we initially requested Saturday mornings or Sunday Mornings but were informed that those time slots were filled due to big tournaments and youth leagues. However, Gary informed us that Sunday nights were "dead" and if we came in at 7 PM until 10 PM we would always have an open court to practice on. We agreed to this day and time and paid the entire 6 months in one lump sum. Throughout the 6 months, we were delayed by 30 minutes to 2 hours by other events that were rented out during our scheduled slot times. This occurred about 60% of the time in the 6 months we were contracted. I ended up sending a complaint to Gary and Billy to refund us the wasted time and to fix the service that they offer. They ended up calling me, apologizing, saying they would fix the service, and offered, instead of a refund, more gym time. I gladly accepted because I decided that they at least deserved a chance to fix their mistakes. For the remainder of the contracted time, the service was the same even after the apology and promise of better service. Fast forward to Jan. 2024, I decided to not opt for the extra gym time and asked for a refund instead. It took 7 phone calls, 5 texts unanswered, 7 emails, and 3 weeks of hounding to get any response from either of these "managers". We eventually got our refund and gladly not doing business with this facility anymore. The working staff that helps set up and clean the facility are amazing and always willing to accommodate if you need something. If the managers continue with this service, I'm not surprised if they turn into Next Level Sports Complex. read more

Took our money, then said they were full and wouldn't give us a refund and mocked my husband, laughed at him, and skateboarded away. Another family had their disabled parents attend and they took their money and told them the handicap spots were full and sent them to a crazy far lot. The poor grandpa was in a wheelchair and the grandma could hardly walk. Horrible people working for them and no one on site to report to. YOU SERIOUSLY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES. I Dont how anyone would recommend this place. This place should never be the use for tournament. The place is packed with people YET there are only 2restrooms that can accommodate only TWO people at a time! The tournament are for kids, I see parents have great difficulty of helping their kids with restrooms when the line and wait is 5000years. This place is the WORST sports facility ever! The bathrooms have not worked for over two months, and when the outhouse are available, they're usually filled with overflowing disgusting issues. The "fancier" Porta potties have no water, no electricity, and the toilets don't flush. It's colder inside the facility than outside. They charge $20 to park and $20 to get in, which is insane for what they expect us to put up with. It's unacceptable!!! read more

Good clean place. Parking was free so that's always a plus. Courts are very tight and seating is close together, so close you are basically sitting with your back against someone else watching a game behind you. Bathrooms were clean HUGE PLUS for me. They sell drinks inside and food outside. Food was more like a food truck, snack bar. I heard the guy serving food telling someone he can't sell drinks, thought that was odd. I could see how this place could get hot, doesn't seem like the air was running but luckily our games were early. Felt stuffy already but not too bad. read more

We are forced to come here for all volleyball tournaments. At 7:30am the bathroom has no toilet paper, housekeeping says they are "not on yet" and several women are in line to use the facilities. This is a consistent problem with this complex. They charge $10 per person for entrance. Very disappointing and taking advantage of the only option provided. read more

The parking space is abundant and the location is two blocks away from the popular Long Beach marketplace. I've been playing basketball here every single weekend for the last 6 months now, and I plan to continue as long as I can. Man! This facility is huuuuge. I've played at a lot of facilities similar to this, but this has to be nicest one by far. When playing on the basketball courts, there was never a sense of compact "gym condensation" you might get from playing at a small gym with a few courts. On top of the circulation on-court, I've personally never slipped on the wood, even after tournaments played right before me. The place has an esports arena, huge variety of food and drinks, and the staff are down-to-earth. The complex is very clean and wasn't that hot surprisingly. I expected it to be as hot as MAP Sports Facility but I believe the air was on when I was there last weekend for a tournament. The bathrooms were small but pretty clean and there was a worker walking around making sure the complex was clean. It only has four courts which is a fairly good number for a small sports facility. They had scoreboards up on the wall of the courts and it was very convenient for the audience to see. I would recommend hosting your basketball tournaments here as well as anything else they offer. read more

Been here plenty of times to rent a court and play indoor basketball with friends. Extremely helpful and kind staff, great courts/flooring, hoops are high quality with options to play volleyball and indoor soccer. Huge space too, so you won't be bothered by others' activities. I'm only here for basketball, but they have a lot of other amenities, and more to come! This company now runs AAU volleyball league tournaments at the facility in Seal Beach and at CLAVA in Lake Forest. Requiring Venmo payment only for both Parking and admission is ridiculous and makes the lines to get in way too long. Many people either don't want to use Venmo or do not have a mobile phone for using it (like grandparents). Cash should be accepted - insist on exact change if you're too lazy to make change. read more
