Very clean, functional facility great for different types of batting drills from live toss, machine pitch and tee work.

Great staff was super friendly and helpful! My boys and I were able to get our work in, prices are also very reasonable.

Indoor batting cage

Nice indoor batting cage facility located within an industrial complex in Los Alamitos. Young man working the front counter has always been friendly and helpful. The automatic, coin-operated pitching machines have been pretty good so far on our visits. Occasionally a pitch will come at you outside of the strike zone, but the majority are consistent. Some of the balls we've noticed are battered and torn, but most are still in good shape. You can buy tokens for the machines individually for $1 each (each token gives you 12 pitches), or get 11 tokens for $10 and save a buck. We've also been redeeming a "1 free token with Yelp check-in" when we go. Yelping continues to have its privileges! They have two larger cages for private batting lessons. Also note that on some weekends the cages are occupied by little leagues who rent out the facility for their own teams to have batting practice. There are also professional coaches you can sign up with for private batting lessons. Prices vary depending on the specific coach's credentials and background. Overall this is a great little batting cage available nearby.

Great service. Came here with my 8 year old son with Autism to take a few swings on the soft pitch machine. After about 15 mins my son was ready to leave due to the sensory of feeling the vibration of the bat cracking the ball. The gentleman at the front desk noticed and suggested I try the cage with the baseball t, so he can get the use to the motion of swinging the bat without the cracking of the bat and feeling the vibration. He let me use it with out paying, which I felt was generous. I also had two bucks worth of tokens to use for the cage. I wanted to give them back for allowing me to use the additional cage but he said use it for next time. This was very generous of him and my son enjoyed his time there.

This place is a hidden gem. Had such a good time I came back with my kids and the neighbors, I'll be coming back soon. Thanks for the good time.

I don't wanna drop the name of the organization that hooked me up with this CrossFit place because everyone might just start showing up! JP! It's called "the phoenix app" it's a recovery sober app and organization that hosts free events all week and weekend you can attend and it's free! Overall, we started and got right into the workouts! The last and hardest workout to do was the walk jog and run 4x back to back 1 min each time! That was tough on me. But overall very friendly people and nice setting!

Noticing a previous 1 star comment regarding safety concerns and racial remarks; I felt the need to…read morecomment myself. I used to be a regular at CrossFit Recoil for a number of years, and I can honestly say because of this, I was in the best shape of my life. But even better than that, I was able to develop lifelong friendships with many of the people that also attended. I no longer regularly go to Recoil any longer, but that's not due to anything the gym has done. Life and work with new demanding schedules, got busier and busier; and I'm not able to show up anymore than a pop in every few months or so. I do miss it. In regards to the previously mentioned safety concerns and racial comments....I've never had any issues with safety while at the gym. I've never seen any major issues with children or kids running under people while their lifting. If this individual had such great concerns over these alleged safety mishaps; why didn't he bring them to the attention of the owner/coach? Why did he continue to go? Hmmm. The fact that the coaches have children and bring them to the gym, is actually an endearing quality and brightens the days for most. A safety issue it is not. I've also known the coaches, who have been mainstays at this gym for years, for quite some time. I've NEVER heard anyone (or anyone else in the gym) utter anything like this previous poster had claimed. After reading it, it sounded more like a bitter individual with an axe to grind. More to the point...it sounds like straight up lies. All I can say, is that if choosing a gym, don't go based on what one unhappy person (who used to get high in the parking lot prior to workouts btw....sounds safe) posted. Show up and you'll see for yourself. There's a reason why the gym is growing and lots of the athletes have worked out there for years. The coaches are great, fun loving, good hearted, knowledgeable people. And the community aspect while at the gym is second to none. So swing by if you're thinking about switching gyms or trying CrossFit for the first time. You will not be disappointed.

Alright let me first start by saying wtf are all these casuals even on Yelp rating a gym and what…read morequalifications could they possibly have. HEAR ME NOW, CYPRESS 24 HR IS THE ABSOLUTE GOAT of 24 Hours within a 15 mile radius. YEAH, I SAID IT. And IYKYK because clearly many people in here are looking for a planet fitness and that's what you certainly won't find here. FIRST let me start with the staff. ALL of the staff are the friendliest of all the 24s. Yo. Attention all you other locations.. YOURE SUPPOSED TO SAY HI and look friendly. Not BE high and look miserable. Cypress 24 staff is the best, ALWAYS attentive and maybe they're faking it maybe they're not but they're always on top of things and always cordial. They actually try to contribute to the culture. Especially that girl Shawn. She's cool and she handles sh%*. But for real all you guys are the real MVPs. I wish I could remember all your names but you know who you are. *fist bump* Secondly. THE GYM. THE GYM ISNT FREEZING COLD WITH GINORMOUS WINDMILLS CONSTANTLY BLOWING FREEZING COLD AC ALL OVER YOU. TEMPERATE GYM + WORKOUT = PUMPS AND SWEAT AND WEIGHT LOSS AND MUSCLE GROWTH. If your gym is FREEZING all the time ITS VASOCONSTRICTING YOUR ENTIRE BODY. You NEED it to be cool or warm to get a PROPER WORK OUT. I don't wanna be wearing a hoodie the entire work out to crack a sweat. ***ALSO*** THE LIGHTING IS MOODY AND PERFECT. IT DOESNT LOOK LIKE A DAMN RALPHS FREEZER aisle which is what the trend is for all the damn 24s lately. Need a damn pair of sunglasses whenever I go to the other gyms. You know exactly what I'm talking about. Bonus bonus bonus points for the lighting being perfect overhead lighting to accentuate your hard earned curves and striations. Good lighting = confidence = HAPPY GYM GOER. 3. The best sauna and steam. Nuff said. Hot and steamy and not filled with teens acting dumb. In fact all the kids that lift at cypress are actually working really hard which brings me to my final point. 4. THE CULTURE. People. Go. Here. To. Work. The people are friendly and not pretentious. They're down to earth and even though there is great and friendly camaraderie throughout the gym, ITS NOT A DAMN SOCIAL CLUB. It's a GYM. The vibes are 100% immaculate and it was crafted by the awesome staff, and the facility. I've been to many 24 locations all over California. After years of Goldilocking it this gym is Juuuuuust right. Hey if you whine about the bathrooms or the slightly broken in machines what can I say, I DONT GO TO THE GYM FOR A PRISTINE BATHROOM JABRONI. I GO TO THE GYM TO LIFT AND BE LIFTED BY OTHERS. And cypress 24 does just that. Mic

The only good thing about this gym, is that it is open 24 hours. This gym is by far the dirtiest…read moreand nastiest gym, I had ever been to. I was a former member, and I still cannot believe I paid X amount of money, to go to such a filthy gym. The restrooms were always gross, and almost always out of toilet paper. There was always toilet paper on the ground or on the seat. As for the showers, they seemed to be barely ever cleaned. There were so many times, where I would see clumps of hair, everywhere in the stalls. I still remember one time, I opened up one of the shower doors, and saw dried up vomit, all over the shower tiles and walls. I am talking about literal food particles everywhere. It was beyond disgusting!! The next day it was still there!! Like whattt thheee..??! As far as the gym floor goes, some of the strength machines and treadmills, were often out of order. This gym has a lap pool, sauna, etc, but I never used any of that, because who knows how clean they are. Bottom line, this whole gym is really rundown, and needs to be renovated ASAP. The interior has clearly been neglected, for some time now. Instead of just focusing on the front end, they need to pay way more attention, towards the custodial end.

The season started with tryouts and all parents (from what we noticed) received one on one time with the coaching staff. I assume so we could all get to know the staff and start to open lines of communication. Micha also shared his expectations for this team so that all parents could know what we were getting our families into. Back office stuff was smooth. Brittany was on top of payments and merch that we asked for. Calendars, uniforms and group chats were all communicated without prompting by us. Interpersonal dynamics between girls was positive and pleasant. Coaching and goal setting was set from the beginning, as a parent I appreciated this as our goals aligned. During practice and tournaments the coaching staff was always professional and coached the players with development in mind. U14 is almost done.
