They charged my insurance $2,527 for anesthesia! That is outrageous! NO anesthesia is worth that amount. It's no wonder insurance premiums are ridiculous. Our healthcare system/charges really need to be investigated. The level of "care" does not justify the astronomical charges. I also have mixed feelings about my experience with this place.

After a run a round trying to get an appointment, I delayed an out of town trip to see a MD here. I encountered a traffic delay on the way. I called to let them know I was running late and about 5 minutes away. Upon arrival and waiting for the receptionist to finish up with someone else, then told my appointment was cancelled because I arrived over 15 minutes late. The next appointment 2 weeks away. I was 19 minutes late because I passed up the place and parked next door to rush in. I had to wait for the receptionist to finish with others. I got the run around again trying to find out the person I talked with about my delay. (Unknown.) If I would not have called ahead of time I might understand why my appointment was cancelled. Is the wait for your appointment Never beyond 15 minutes? The office was packed and I am certain the MD was not just "waiting" for me to arrive without seeing patients. Reading some of the other negative ratings because of long wait times and seeing the number of patients in the waiting area, I doubt this practice keeps up with the appointment times made. If any patient waits longer than 15 minutes for their appointment is it expected they will walk out and cancel their appointment? The inner workings of this practice have much to be desired to run a Professional practice. A patient's time is just as valuable as the doctors. A cancelled appointment and 2 weeks to see a MD for an injury is not acceptable. I will not use this practice for my medical needs.

As with anything healing takes time but he actually pieced my tattoo back so that the scar separating it is barely noticable. How many surgeons really care about that. I see Dr. Stubbs for my shoulders that are both going to need surgery. I see Dr. Hobbes for my pain management. All the staff as well as the Dr.s are wonderful. It's really the most accepting and positive gym environment I have ever seen. The staff is super friendly and seem to know everyone by name. They run a ton of special health and nutrition programs and have a wide variety of fitness classes. They have all the usual things one would expect to find in a gym: treadmills, elipticals, exercise bikes, and tons of weight machines as well as TV's to watch while you work out. They also offer personal training and have a place to watch your children while you exercise. I was only visiting Lafayette for a month but I absolutely love this place and will join again the next time I am in town for awhile.
