We hosted a 5th birthday party for 12 kids and it was a huge hit!…read more To begin with, we were familiar with MadScience because my son is an MPS, student and they have visited his school with projects and demos. We thought it would be a unique party idea. While the Mad Scientists will come to your house, we opted to have the party at their lab. We had a 10am party and the standard party lasts 1-1/2 hours. You can add more time if you want to, but we just opted for the basic. I was nervous that 1-1/2 hours wouldn't be enough time. Given that we chose a party time after breakfast and before lunch, we just did lots of snacks and cupcakes, and it was perfect. If you want to do pizza or extra play time, another 1/2 hour or so would be better. The set-up itself is great. They have picnic table style seating, and when you arrive, some of them have different types of activity boards to play with. There are a ton of stations of toys for the kids to play with and explore before and after the demo. Our group had a 2 year old who could find safe things to play with and even a 10 year old that enjoyed all the activities. They have all the plates, cups, napkins, cutlery, etc. and even have ice cream scoops and lighters for candles. It was great to see how many bases they had covered. I didn't feel the need to add table cloths to anything so really, what you need to bring is minimal. The general decor of the place is awesome. They even had name tags for your to write names on when you walk in. Dr. Molly was our Mad Scientist, and she was so entertaining, enthusiastic and funny! She (safely) used fire, electricity and more. She talked about several science concepts, but kept it basic enough that the young kids could follow what she was talking about. Most importantly though-she made it fun! Even the adults loved the experiments. We made slime and added on the cotton candy making. The kids loved all the activities, had a blast and got to take home a project and a treat. The birthday boy got his own lab coat and was excited to wear it during the demo. Dr. Molly went out of her way to include him where she could. I appreciated her effort to make it special for him. We also brought little safety glasses from Amazon (Search: Gateway Safety 3699 Colorful StarLite Gumballs Safety Glasses, Small) They were perfect for their size, and the kids could take them home. Otherwise, they had a big basket of science goggles that the kids can wear. I am definitely going to looking for more opportunities to visit! All in all: -It's not the cheapest party, but it definitely is unique. -Great communication before the party, and everyone I talked to was super nice and helpful. -They make the party easy for you. -Easy to find. -So much for the kids to do on-site--you don't need to entertain them. -Five is probably the youngest age I'd recommend. -Twelve kids + parents + some extra family was a comfortably full house. There was room for more-just not a ton more. If you have older kids, I'd say that parents could comfortably drop them off. -Check out the party add-ons. We liked the idea of the rocket launch but our party day was rainy so I'm glad we opted for the cotton candy.

Tucked into the heart of Tosa, the location is on point. It's no wonder they're regularly busy and have such a welcoming and communal feel. The exterior boasts of beautiful murals, colorful and bright. As soon as I walked in, I was impressed with the atmosphere. All of the modern decor, lots of little things to shop for (by local vendors), a handful of tables to sit at and enjoy food/drink, and a friendly face at the register ready to check you in. I brought both my boys, 3.5 and 1.5 years old, and they had a blast. We booked a slot online ahead of time, which was very easy to do and came with a text & email reminder. When we showed up we paid for our entry ($11/kid for an hour) along with a latte for myself. I could not resist, given the drink options sounds darn good. And let me tell ya, the 'born to be wildberry shaken espresso' is something I need in my regular caffeine rotation!! As for the play area, I thought it was great! Plenty of space for kids of all ages. There were structures to climb, costumes to dress up in, blocks to stack, musical instruments to play, trucks & cars galore, and beyond. Oh and comfy couches for the moms/dads/caretakers to get comfy. All in all, a beautiful and safe place for littles to play! Also awesome: they host workshops, classes, storytimes, and other groups for parents and kids to get involved in. Unfortunately we live a tad out of reach for regular enough visits, but I'd imagine their membership is something worth looking into. I think what I appreciated most was was how community-centered Little Village feels. From the staff to the friendly moms & dad visiting, it was a vibe. Can't go wrong with a visit here!

I also (perhaps weirdly) asked if I needed to be a parent, which I am not, to get a coffee. The barista seemed amused/confused and said no. I ordered a very nice latte and got some work done. Thankfully, I remembered by ear buds. What a great idea for those with children or grandchildren! Socializing, coffee, toys, a play area, adorable decorations. Such a wonderful options for those with kids/nieces/nephews/godchildren. Everyone wins and has fun!

Nugget Nation MKE has one of the BEST curation of toys that CONSISTENTLY rotates. I like to emphasize the consistent because a lot of play spaces have kept the same toys month after month but not here! 3 Reasons You Should Visit Nugget Nation 1) It incorporates play for a variety of ages. I have an older son and an infant/toddler. Often times at most places I would get nervous that my older one would be too big and hurt the young ones or my little one would have nothing to do. This is the best for both worlds. 2) Play for every kid. I said this initially but there are a variety of toys that will peak your little one's interest or curiosity which is perfect for problem solving and imagination 3) The indoor play space is a perfect size - not too big where you will lose your kids inside and it's CLEAN. It you are a 90s kid and remember Chucky Cheese play gyms being the best thing - this is way better and will give you the mental ease that your children are safe. I read the previous review about attendees getting everyone sick and honestly that must be a fluke because I go at least once a month and found that other children are respectful especially when it comes to germs. Kayla and Jenna you are the best addition to our lives thank you for giving this mama a place to go when feeling cooped up.

I really really like this place. This is a facility that is meant for all in any type of children…read more It seems like it's a really good spot for birthday parties and events. We've never been at one, but we've seen some take place while we've just been there during a free time. They have bins for when toys get icky and need to be taken away from the rest of the stuff. Everything seems to be very well organized, cleaned really well and the equipment is really interesting and different than a lot of other play places. Again, I think it's suppose to be giving sensory needs to a wide range of individuals and children. And it's cool! They also have a calming room with a beautiful mural on the inside as well as an infant room which is a great way to section off some of the smaller kids so there's less likely for injury. The main area does have running around, swinging, jumping, but that's what you're there for! They have dress up costumes, coloring space, a giant chalkboard wall and trampoline. I will say the staff is usually hosted by one or two younger people, there's no real problem with that except when they were experiencing technical issues with their portal to be able to login to register your kiddos. That happened a few times a handful of months ago, but now they've switched to a new system and that all seems 100% better. We've been there multiple times and we will continue to go back, our twins love it.

He looked like he didn't understand so when I got off I said "do you wanna get hurt or not?". The staff took that as a threat although it was not. I didn't want him to get hurt. My babysitter who took us there tried to tell them that it was not a threat but I just kept yelling at staff. This is in oak creek which is a part of Milwaukee County. My dad works on vilet street as a sergeant and I could have called him but my phone was almost dead. WOW! First time here and we got kicked out. Yikes! My dad will come here. 3 stars cus it is a fun place to play.

Wowza, this place is wild! My family and I recently came for our first visit to attend a birthday…read moreparty. My boys were in utter shock upon entering, and honestly so were we haha! It's massive inside, so much bigger than I had expected. Your eyes can't decide where to look- the dozen massive slides, climbing gym area, big swings, zip-line... there's plenty to do! All of the kids we were with, including mine, ranged from ages 2-6. To no surprise, they all had a blast. There's something for everyone, including a dedicated section for kids under 5. From a parent's perspective however, there were definitely a few things we didn't favor. To start, there seemed like a lack of staff, almost allowing for too much of a free-for-all. And the staff that were working, were completely unfriendly and looked like they didn't want to be there at alllllll. This is a kids place... even a smile or a little interaction with the kids would go a long way. The one gentleman -working the area where you swing off the bar onto the blow up section- truly looked mad to be there and it was sad to watch the kids ask him for help and receive bothered looks in return like it was a chore. The go-cart section was completely closed/broken down as well. You pay a good chunk of money to come here, so to have a whole area not available to play was a bummer. Having a bday party here can be the whole package though - our group got a big dedicated table on the party side, pizzas, veggies and fruit, and drinks. Unsure of the cost, as we weren't the hosts, but if you're looking for an all-in-one option this would work. All in all, an enjoyable place for kids but absolutely be prepared for chaos and to support your kids in being safe because there's opportunity for injury.
