Back to Whirlyball this time for a private event I worked with their team to organize the event and they did a good job putting the program together we started downstairs with renting a court and a few bowling lanes. We also added some large games to our space as well. We then made it upstairs for our dinner program and the buffet was amazing! Delicious and tenor serving they have a very nice event space upstairs. The staff were very nice. Two notes would just be that they had our program run on a court back to back with another group so it was ackward since we needed all those large games set up, had preset beverages and appetizers. Plus a full check in table. The other court was empty so I'm not certain why we weren't just in the other space. Then they also only had the front bar open in the first hour versus the one right at the courts and bowling where we were and other guests enjoying their time. In the case of our group it also left us separated into two since as they waited for drinks then they just became comfortable in the front bar talking. They did open the upstairs bar once we moved up there. I would book an event here again I would just make sure to clearly note some of those details and/or even book the court an extra hour to ensure no crossover even though I was able to set up 15 minutes before our event start. If you're ever in charge of a lively group, especially a big bunch of kids like a baseball team, and they're staying at the Hilton right next door, this place is an absolute winner. We had such a fantastic time. Our visit mainly involved enjoying some really excellent drinks they definitely hit the spot. We didn't get a chance to sample the food this time around, but honestly, we were too busy having an absolute blast with the whirlyball. That game alone made the whole experience incredibly fun and memorable. Whirlyball is interesting. They put an absolutely insane amount of garlic on their garlic parm fries. Pretzel bites are pretty good. There never seems to be anyone behind the bar so you have to wait for the server to come around to your area. They do have a good selection of beer if you can find someone to order. They have a lot of activities and I'll admit the whirly ball was way more fun than I expected. This seems like a great spot for corporate parties or birthdays for adults. What a fun evening! Literally right down the road in a great location with ample parking. Staff was super accommodating, friendly, and attentive! The apps are so scrumptious! I loved them all! Flatbread varieties, bruschetta, pasta pesto, fruit kabobs, but ohhhhh the brownies and lemon bars really topped it all off! Customer service does not exist at this establishment at all. Recently I received a gift card, so I asked the 2 employees as I walked in if I could use it just to order dinner and all I got was the weirdest look so they called a manager with no response. So they finally said it was okay and to proceed to the bar area to order some food. Well, the young lady was of no help as well. She had no clue what a gift card was and how to use it as a form of payment. I know that area businesses are having a hard time hiring people but please train them properly so that you don't lose any business. I like this place and didn't think I would. Staff here was really nice. Adult atmosphere and they have two bar areas at this place. Bowling was fun and I had the server keep the drinks coming. Bowling was $33 for 1 hr. I got 4 games out of that. In all I will be back! Side Note: If you plan on playing Whirlyball, you need a minimum of 4 people because you all would then be on teams of 2 against each other...so on and so forth if you have more people. read more

I recently included a three-hour stop at WhirlyBall Brookfield as part of a day-long bachelor party. From the initial contact with the sales rep/event planner to the day-of festivities, the experience was significantly lacking. The sales rep never quite listened to what we were asking for, failed to generate an accurate contract, then on the day-of the manager refused to correct the contract (despite being promised as much by the sales rep) and overcharged us for our event. We'd ordered a simple menu of pizzas and soda with the request that the food be ready at noon. This was three weeks in advance. Our group arrived early for check-in (as directed by the sales rep) and the front desk didn't have our event on their books and another group was in our rented space. Our simple menu of pizzas and soda was brought out a 12:20. Our referee for WhirlyBall and laser tag was flippant, dismissive, and exhibited annoyance at any of our questions. And to be clear, we were a group of eighteen easy-going dudes who just wanted the bachelor had a good time; our questions included such things as, "Where do we go?" and "Can we start a game now?" In short, I can see how WhirlyBall would be a good time with a small group that just walks in, but I can't recommend planning an event with the Brookfield location. Absolutely terrible experience. If you go with a few folks and expect to be overcharged for everything, then it can be a decent time. Given how much money we spent, we mostly just felt like we were putting the staff out by being there. read more

I arranged a corporate event for 12 people at WhirlyBall Brookfield. It was 1 hour of dining and 2 hours of game time. It was the perfect balance for the size of our team. The space dedicated to our party was large and could easily hold 5x the amount of people. We did a buffet and an open bar. There are many package options to choose from - displays, snacks, sliders, craft pizzas, and entrees. I did notice there was not a lot of Gluten Free options and I had to order a menu specific item for an employee. Our servers were very friendly but also very new. They seemed a bit lost and gave the wrong answers to many of my questions. (is this the final bill, can we box leftover food, etc) WhirlyBall Brookfield has been open for a few months now but there is definitely room for improvements. One of the backboards were broken and did not flash when you scored. We had to depend on the referee which wasn't as fun. They also ran out of ingredients for 2 cocktails which was a bummer when you have an open bar. Overall it was a great time and it'll be a lot of fun for corporate, family, or for any group activity. My party & I tried this place a couple of weeks ago and it was a lot of fun. We had dinner there and the food is very good, but also a bit pricey. You can have a pretty full meal and cocktails at its Pivot Room. The chicken cheese curds were different and very good! They definitely go in my top 5. Bowling is really fun here, we were assigned the upper level for it and we were so glad! It felt like having our own private party. Customer service is very good. Servers will take good care of you. I was hoping for a great experience but not the case. My whole group was very disappointed. Disorganized and over priced. (there are a lot of Craft beers) We were over by the bowling lanes. We saw a kid wipe his nose on one of the pillows. This was also in plain sight of a server who did nothing about it. We also thought that same server would ask us what we wanted. No, she disappeared. My boyfriend and I decided to come here thinking it was an adult arcade, but it's more upscale than that. There's bowling, laser tag, bumper cars, and a couple side games like giant Connect 4 and corn hole boards; however, you have to pay for everything. The place itself is really nice, just a bit overpriced in my opinion for the games. Bowling for 2 for 2 hours was $50, and that doesn't include any drinks or food along with it. You do get a server though at your lane, which is nice. The staff was friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was nice, and the equipment was clean. We came here for the Hyperbowling and to have some drinks. The bartender was very friendly and he made sure to check in on us and make sure we were still doing well. We had some wings which were made quickly and were pretty good. Hyperbowling was fun and definitely a new experience but very enjoyable. Hi, I was a first time visitor at your Brookfield location on 1/16/25. I decided to go for my b day. I was having a great time until a young Indian lady who work at the front ask my husband and I to move to a different lane,to accommodate other guests. I ask did they have reservations considering we were already set up and bowling at the time. She said no they didn't have reservations however it's a big group and they want the first 3 lanes. In which we were in lane 4 I ask so your not asking but your telling us to move and she said yes. In return I suggest that she keep in mind we are all guest/ paying customers, and what she was doing is not ok. However we moved finished our food and drinks and left. I love the setup however being treated so poorly I want be returning. I hope this reach you in time so you can reach out to the managers annd staff about professional behavior. So situations like this doesn't happen again in the future. This could have turned into something more for such a little situation. This place is so much fun! It was my first time playing whirlyball and I can tell you I could not stop laughing during it. It was very fun and competitive -- very good vibes! The group and I also decided to get drinks and bowl which was very interesting as we did your not so usual bowling games. It's very interesting and based off of more luck than anything but it is fun to switch things up. There is so much to do here to entertain. I was grossly overcharged for my meal. Bartenders and shift manager kept rolling their eyes at me when I provided proof of being overcharged. I have never been treated this poorly by service staff before. I will never return and advise friends and family to do the same. I went for an event yesterday and everything was amazing! The event spaces are all very clean with plenty of room to sit or stand and chat. Each bowling alley has two large couches which are very comfortable. The bathrooms are also very clean. They have a beautiful outside patio with couches and fire pits. Next, the food is overall good but I honestly don't expect much from a place that's primarily for drinks and games. The setup for the event was buffet style and they had salad, sliders (cheeseburger and tomato/mozzarella/pesto), potatoes, pizza, broccolini, salmon, and chicken. The salad was fresh. The sliders were amazing!! I think they put a ton of butter on the buns and meat cause it was just bread/meat/cheese but tasted very buttery and it seemed like the meat was also good quality. The pizza was freshly made which you can see in their kitchen window that's open to the main area. I love broccolini and it's hard to mess that up- so that also tasted great. Finally the chicken and salmon were clearly the fancier options but they chicken was a bit dry. The salmon tasted like it had an Asian sweet and sour sauce on it which was also just ok. I'd stick to the sliders/pizza/salad. -the food is as expected (didn't disappoint or particularly impress). The best part of the night was definitely the games!!!! I thought whirlyball would be weird but it was so fun!! Great team building game that's essentially lacrosse but with bumper cars. We also played a couple games of laser tag which was was electric! Ordered poutine for 14 dollars and a grilled cheese and a burger for about 15 a piece. The bartender was more interested in her phone and the other employees than her customers. We and another group sat for 15 minutes with empty glasses and not once did she ask us about another drink. Poutine was one (not even an exaggeration) handful of fries. Way over priced. Burger was decent. 40 minutes we waited for the grilled cheese before we canceled and cashed out. 54 dollars for 3 beers, a burger and fries with cheese. The things to do there were fun, but the food made it so much worse. I described the taste to you in one word, cardboard. The pizza is the worse thing I have ever had. Do not recommend the food. The pizza I had at Whirlyball was an absolute disaster. It seemed like it had been sitting out for hours before it was served to us. The crust was soggy and tasted like it had been reheated multiple times. The toppings were sparse and looked like they had been scraped off the bottom of the barrel. The cheese was congealed and barely melted, making it unappetizing to even look at, let alone eat. To top it off, the sauce was bland and lacked any discernible flavor. Let's just say your better going to WhirlyBall ball in Chicago because I've never been bowling and they cut your game off in the middle of the game or on the last two frames, so they basically taking your time off from the time you pay for shoes and everyone that's playing the cashier said that it' $12 for shoes $12 each person. Then she goes on to say that you have 7min to put your shoes on and bowl so they basically just taking money. Then we ordered food and drinks and let's just say it's a waste of money just eat and drink before going! This is regarding food only. Went to a party at Whirltball for 60+ people. Dinner was served, and chicken breast were raw in the middle. Some were very pink in the middle, and others were totally raw on the inside. Chicken was served from one pan with juices. Cook us evidently not trained in temperature that food she be served at. Someone should have checked before serving. We will not be eating hear again. read more

I called the number for WhirlyBall and was planning to make a reservation for bowling for 15 of my work people this week Thursday. Every other bowling alley I spoke to had a league taking up all the lanes for that night. I asked the man on the phone if they had leagues and he said he didn't think so. When I asked if I could talk to someone at the Brookfield location (just to make sure) he said that he was looking at the schedule and nothing was blocked off. He would not let me talk to anyone from that location and was rude with his answer. I nicely reiterated that it was a work event and I needed to make sure lanes were available before we showed up. He replied with he was "pretty sure" they would be available and when I chuckled at that RIDICULOUS response he hung up. I could not believe it. The most terrible customer service over the phone and I chose not to plan our night here specifically because of that. Also will personally not ever be returning. read more

This is a great place for fun. Whirlyball is a blast! The staff is friendly, food is good and event is fun. The problem we experienced is that we had a group of 10+ and wanted to be sure we could get a court. Tried to make reservations several weeks in advance. They wanted an $18 minimum per person for food and drinks in order to do this, which isn't hard to do, but I didn't want that required of my guests in case someone wasn't eating or drinking for that hour. So, I made reservations a week ahead. What they didn't say up front and I didn't see til I received the contract is that there's a $50 service fee, WHICH I found out they don't charge if you reserve only 3 days ahead. They kept saying how Friday afternoons are super busy, so I was afraid not to book ahead in case we couldn't get a court for our chosen time. What do you do with 10 people then? I can't even imagine not planning ahead and finding out you can't get a court. It would seem for their planning purposes they'd like to know how busy they are too. That is my only complaint. Otherwise, the place is great. read more

The only way that you can book with WhirlyBall Brookfield more than 1 week out is if you reserve a food package with your reservation. The food packages start at $18.00 a person which doesn't include the $250 rate to play. There is no way I can plan an event with many people only one week out unless we want to add food and make it super expensive. There is no guarentee that you can get the date and time you want if you wait until 7 days until the event. read more

Hate this place. Called in advance to learn about what's needed to play WhirlyBall. Arrived and was told we couldn't play because we only had 3 people and it "wouldn't be fun" and that they wont mix groups of people to have more than 3 (Never mentioned on phone). Apparently, the guy at the counter is the ultimate determiner of "fun". Additionally, the food sucks. The cheese sauce is orange colored water with no flavor. At least our server was nice.
