I waited a few months to write this review in order to report electric savings and overall performance so far. Happy to say compared to a 3 year average for May and June I am seeing a $25 per month savings, and during these hot days the unit operates beatifully and it's quieter than the old unit. I chose Bryson Heating and Air because their quote not only gave info on heat pump but also on the air handler, and included a heavy duty drip pan with overflow protection and a programmable thermostat. They are also NATE certified. In addition it was the lowest quote. The installation went smoothly even though the air handler was located in a very tight spot in the very small attic. They cleaned up thoroughly when finished. I found this company to be professional to deal with and with the installation. I am a happy customer.

Greg Carter was very responsive, and Jamie came out first thing the next morning. After doing an initial check of things, he disassembled the cooktop and found the leak at the regulator. Interestingly, we had a local appliance repair out here in 2019 when we smelled propane at the cooktop. While I don't know if they ever corrected the issue or not, Carters did! Trane has dropped some of their quality and we had to pay for labor 2 years after on one unit bec Trane manufacturing dropped the ball on welding. Wasn't happy about that. We also had a commercial unit installed around same time and that too was poor workmanship for Trane. We found Air Tech to be more reasonable on their pricing.

They installed a whole house HVAC unit from scratch in our 150 year old house. The work was done quickly and the workers were polite, respectful of our home, as quiet as they could be, and nice to our dog. We really appreciated that they weren't yelling across the house, there was no cursing (which in my experience is pretty common). We also really appreciated that they were careful not to damage our belongings, despite my house being in utter disarray at the time, and they even vacuumed up the dust from the drywall when they cut the necessary holes in the ceiling. When we had a small problem, the owner was quick to respond and fix it himself. I can't say enough good things about our experience with this company! We are hoping that this system will hold up well and all of the installation was done properly, but so far so good.
