I placed 4 calls the first day and only Dustin from Brothers returned my call almost immediatey. Within a day he had already researched the product I needed and was ready to schedule an installation. Although I was impressed with the attention to detail and responsiveness I was receiving, I still wanted to do my due diligence in researching other companies for products and pricing. We looked at every option in the St Cloud area, and it was not fun. Home Depot sent out some other company to give an estimate, and it was well over $10K. I looked into buying my own furnace from Lowe's, and hiring a handyman to hook it up, which would leave us with no warranty and probably a questionable product. Then I found Gilk in Richmond. I emailed them through their website, and received a reply the very next morning. They asked for pictures of my existing furnace, and then gave me a quote via email for both installing a furnace I purchase on my own, but also for installing a good Rheem furnace of theirs that would suit our needs perfectly. They were SO affordable, I was able to go with their Rheem furnace and have them install it, which included a lengthy warranty, too. This was such a huge relief, and they were out the very next morning and had the job all done by noon. They were great to work with, very professional and accommodating. They saved us. From now on, I will tell anyone I know that needs any HVAC work done to at least check with Gilk. I don't think I've ever written a review before, but I had to because this place was so great to us.

The plumber I received the estimate from is not the plumber that did the work (Mason). In fact,…read morefour different plumbers came over to do the work and every time it had to be explained to them what was in the scope. There was one no call no-show originally, followed by a late one hour visit, another late three hour visit and a 'properly scheduled and executed 'four hour visit over the next three weeks. We were told it would be done in one day and then it was really easy to do, This was not the case at all . The work was not consistent and poorly executed. The screws they used were too long and went through the wood into where we need to sheet-rock. The estimate given on materials was not true, as a quick Menards search proved they up-charged us at least $1000. I'm usually not one to criticize the blue collar work because I'm a blue-collar worker myself. But I don't want somebody to make the same mistake as me and hire these guys. After their first no call no-show I attempted to fire them, but was made promises that everything would be 'set right' and taken care of. I erroneously agreed. But, I guess they didn't mean for a couple weeks and I was a fool to think so... I highly recommend finding someone better and more cheap. Plumbing by Craig came in $600 cheaper on one estimate and $1000 cheaper on another. Hendrickson Sons plumbing agreed to meet the quote, another reason they weren't fired. The work they completed was not inspected professionally or casually, nor was it permitted. in fact, the person that gave the estimate never even came back out to look at it to make sure the scope was complete and the operation successful. Even my electrician states that there's a lot of hangers and fasteners that are missing and vent pipes that are in poor location. They also said they would provide a mini pump as well, and I expected something from Home Depot or Lowe's at least, not from China and Amazon. A quick Amazon search reveals this was also outrageously overpriced. The vent it comes with is a half inch in some how they thought a 2 inch vent would work well for it . And the pipe for the vanity drain was not leveled correctly as well. Otherwise, the job got done. They said they would test everything for proper operation in the quote , that also never happened, assuming it was done correctly. I did pay them in the end. Mostly just to wash my hands of their service. l'll personally never hire them again. Learn from my mistakes.

When they respond to this comment I am sure they will say that they take this seriously and will be in contact, they only take it seriously enough to communicate why they are not going to do anything and to tell you why you are lying. I would strongly recommend you find a different contractor rather than get stuck working with this sleezy outfit.

A day later Andy P which he stated he does not do plumbing and hasn't in years. Andy is a sales consultant according to their Facebook page. They worked over 12 hours on that dayand off that day. Then the worker got the snake stuck which took 2 1/2 hours to get it out. Andy then cut my pipe multiple times when the snake was caught. The owner came out and got it out. Then Andy stated he had to go to Menards to get more supplies. Andy reminded me over and over that you know im charging you $125 an hour. Andy was unprofessional and was talking that he was on drugs when he was younger. A day later the pipe was leaking again. Finally,On the 5 th time they put a camera down and found the problem. Due to pipe leaking so many times I lost multiple items in my home. I then found out this company has no plumbing license in the State of Minnesota. I called the company to ask for a plumbing license number the office manager stated " I'm not giving you anything and hung up on me. Kramer spent 21 hours trying to fix my pipe. This took 2 weeks to fix which should have been done in one day. When they left they didn't clean up after them.

The technician stated everything with the unit looked good other than a few minor adjustments. The furnace stopped working a few days later. In a span of the next week we had five visits from multiple Precise technicians and after each visit the unit stopped working within a few days. We spent a total of $691 without the issue being resolved. During the process I was told several times "we think" when attempting to diagnose the problem. I even had the fuel oil in our tank checked because the technicians thought the oil was the problem. There was no problem with the oil. I was again told what they thought the problem might be. It would be over $300 dollars and I was told even if that wasn't the problem I would need to pay the full amount. I finally had a different company come out to look at the unit and after one visit we have not had any further problems. During the process both my wife and I both talked with the owner. In each of those conversations the owner put an emphasis on why we should switch to a unit other than fuel oil instead of on the problem at hand. I would caution anyone to get service done by Precise.
