Mailbiz... I entered the building to send a package. I had my mask on as suggested by the health officials. Nobody in the store had a mask on...not the 2 customers before me or the cashier. As a matter of fact i could hear the customer and cashier discussing the mask situation. They exchanged bullshit theorys that justified their going maskless. I would like to think in these times that businesses would be more careful about potentially infecting their customers with this deadly virus...but i guess im wrong. read more

My parents use this little family business to ship all of their packages and this weekend I went in for the first time. Mailing out my sisters Christmas/ birthday box was turning out to be tougher than I'd thought. With her spoiled bottom getting more gifts than the children of some small countries combined, I was having issues finding one large box to ship everything in. This place made it so easy! They were very pleasant, labeled all the fragile gifts and just took them all and packaged it for me! It was 10.00 for the huge box and their packaging and then of course the cost of shipping. It was just so nice to have it all taken care of for me and at such a reasonable price. I was in and out on my way in no time.. Highly recommended! read more

Unbelievable this place. They decide to close the day before xmas eve an hour early. Only in Redding. This is the single most busiest mail day of the year. The LAST day to receive or send packages or cards, or letters before xmas. It makes no sense whatever. They told my guy who picks up our mail (from time to time to help us) last sat that they "were going to be open this sat and the following sat before xmas until 4pm." I guess that schedule didn't happen. Not sure who told him that or why. He arrived the usual time between 1-2pm and the mail hadn't arrived or hadn't been sorted yet, but to come back. Then he showed up around 3:15-3:20 and they were closed. Who does this? Only in Redding. I picked up our mail yesterday and they didn't say anything about closing an hour early. You'd think they'd want to make sure they let all customers know. Yeah I know, it's posted on the door. But why? Why did you guys need to close an hour early? I'm glad we are technically celebrating AFTER Christmas because if I was awaiting some last minute gifts to come in, we'd be screwed. I guess we don't have any other option in this town, so we're subject to whatever hours they decide. Is there a holiday here I'm missing? Never heard of anywhere closing the day BEFORE Christmas Eve. Thought most business understood this is the busiest time of year. Too bad they needed this additional hour for whatever reason. I'm used to places staying open a little LONGER around this time of year to accommodate the last minute rush of xmas. Oh well. Baghumbug I suppose. read more

This is the Best place to ship anything in Redding. I have been using Mail Biz for years and years. They are incredible with their knowledge of shipping, costs, ways to send things the safest and least expensive. Amazing! And they provide many more services, too, from copying, sending money, notary services and a wonderful selection of greeting cards. Here's an example of their services: I was shipping some fragile family china to my niece in Oregon as a wedding gift. For about five minutes, I tried to pack it myself in a special "moving" box, and immediately realized I was asking for disaster. So of course, I just took the set of china to Mail Biz, and they took the time, and had the knowledge and material to pack it beautifully. It arrived in perfect condition. My niece texted me she was crying she was so touched at beauty of the china and our tradition of giving the family china to the bride. (And because I used Mail Biz, she didn't have to cry because it was broken.) I always go to Mail Biz when I need anything shipped or mailed - presents, special letters, cards to a friend overseas. They pack anything that needs to be mailed from the most fragile to the most sturdy. And whatever I ship with Mail Biz gets there 100% of the time On-Time and in great shape. More than that, though, the Mail Biz Staff are the best in town for great customer service. They truly care about their customers. I accidently sent a package 2 day air and had to call back 2 hours later to upgrade to overnight air.... This package had to arrive the next day for a funeral slide show.... The girl sorted through all the packages they had in the store and found mine! She let me pay over the phone to upgrade for overnight air! I really appreciate her going the extra mile for me! They close at 5:30 p.m. so when I walked up to the door at 5:25 p.m. I was surprised that they closed the door, locked it and turned their Open sign to Closed in my face. They saw me walking up but would not even look at me. I just stood there shocked. I understand the need to want to get out of there on time and not deal with customers after hours but it was very unprofessional way to deal with a customer. They very easily could have acknowledged me and apologized that they were closing. I would have understood and been fine with it because I knew that they were closing in five minutes. There's plenty of other mail businesses in town. The Mail Biz on Hilltop is great. Go there instead. read more

Wonderful customer service! I needed to do some faxing and had quite a few pages to fax. Even with a line of people waiting both people working made sure to check up on my faxes.
