Better for Older Kids Than Younger Children…read more I recently visited Urban Air Trampoline Park in Winston-Salem with my son and my 4-year-old grandson. It was our first visit, and while my grandson did have fun, I left feeling like the park is much better suited for older children. My biggest concern was that there wasn't a dedicated area for younger kids. Instead, everything seemed to be based primarily on height rather than age, and I don't think that's the safest approach. Just because a child meets the height requirement doesn't mean they're developmentally ready to be playing alongside much older kids and adults who are running and jumping at full speed. We had to stay close to my grandson the entire time to make sure he didn't get knocked over. I really think having a separate area specifically for toddlers and younger children (up to about 5 or 6 years old) would make a huge difference and give parents much more peace of mind. That said, he really enjoyed jumping on the trampolines and playing in the ball pit. We spent about two hours there, and he stayed entertained. He also loved the pretzel we ordered for him, along with a bottle of water. One thing I did appreciate was the pricing. Since I purchased a parent pass and wasn't participating in any of the activities, the total for the three of us was under $30, which I thought was very reasonable. Overall, I wouldn't say it was a bad experience--it just wasn't the best fit for a 4-year-old. I would definitely consider bringing him back when he's older, probably around 10 or 11, when he can safely enjoy more of the attractions without having to constantly watch out for bigger kids. If you're planning to bring younger children, just be prepared to stay right beside them the entire time. In my opinion, Urban Air is a much better experience for older kids than for preschoolers.

It was honestly chaos and unorganized. There should be a lane dedicated for people who have memberships and advanced purchases. If there is one. I did up going to the side and speaking with a staff member to check in and bypass the line to buy tickets. My son and 1 stayed about 3 hours, which was nice. I usually am active and engaged by jumping but it was too crowded and wanted the kids to the enjoy the space. I did enjoy myself for about 45 minutes of the time. Part of the membership is kids get a slice of pizza and snack. We went around 7:45pm as they closed at 9. The snack is usually popcorn or chips. My son wanted popcorn. He got a little and kernels. They gave us a buzzer as they were supposed to make more but I didn't see that happening around 15 minutes. We decided to leave, so I returned the buzzer without the popcorn. I think they should have a limit on how many people are present so that people can actually enjoy it without it being cramped. The free jump trampoline area had multiple people in one spot when it's supposed to be one only. There was no staff attending to that area but was a staff member at the other areas. In the future, I think I'm going to come earlier in the day if I'm going on the weekend to hopefully beat the crowd. But they have many birthday parties there too, along with walk ins. It can just be very overwhelming.

What really stood out for us was how safe and inclusive the space felt -- especially for families with kids of different ages. Our son Eli was able to jump comfortably, and we appreciated how attentive the team was throughout our visit. The energy was fun without feeling chaotic, and everything ran smoothly. You can tell they're intentional about both safety and guest experience, which matters a lot as a parent. We also loved hearing about the upcoming renovations and are excited to come back and see the updates once they're complete. Overall, this was a fun, stress-free experience, and we'd definitely recommend Get Air to other families looking for something active to do in the area. We'll be back!

Luckily a lady came by after a while and asked if we were attending a party and let us check in through the self service kiosk... In my opinion, someone should be on standby as guests for parties are arriving to help them get checked in quickly and taken to where the party is taking place. When you book a party, you select a time slot, why not have the party coordinator receive the guests as they come?? It would make the process a whole lot easier.. I have not been to Urban Air since my son had his Birthday there a few years ago, but I can see a decline in the cleanliness of the establishment. There are just a bunch of young kids working here that have no conflict resolution skills, the place was dirty. I did like that they had everything set up before hand for the party, that was nice. They provided the socks and wrist bands for the kids, they provided the pizza as well. Overall, despite how I felt, my son and his friends had a great time, and I guess that's all that matters! They have zip lining, bumper cars, a ball pit, trampolines, VR etc. So a lot to do for sure.

They sold me the "all day" pass, which was $60 for 4 people and shoe rentals, including 2 kids. Seems a bit pricey, but okay. Our first lane had technical issues but they moved us a lane over which seemed to work fine. I've seen bowling alleys that have electronic bumpers, but this place still had the manual ones. After we started our third game, we were suddenly cut off without explanation. When I went up to inquire, I was told that the "all day" pass ends at 3pm and they were so generous as to have given us an extra hour before cutting us off without warning. We arrived at 2pm, and I can't understand why I was sold something they knew was supposed to end in an hour. That aside, I saw no signage and was not informed. The girl behind the desk claims the GM who sold this to me "must have told me." I walked away because I could feel the anger rising. My wife came back and argued that I hadn't been told and that it made no sense to end an all day pass at 3pm. We were given a coupon to redeem 2 free games (expires end of year), so at least they did something to try and make it right. Just be aware about the all day pass because it ain't all day! The pizza we had was fine. Better than expected for a bowling alley. I'll probably come back to redeem that coupon and play some billiards.
