Don't do it! I use to go here when it was on Washington and called the Glo studio. The tans were always ok, pretty good for what you paid for and the customer service was good. Not this time. And I really don't like giving bad reviews, but I have never had such bad customer service in my life. I think they changed the name because the reviews were getting so bad. I'm always a little uncomfortable getting a spray tan, I usually only get one once a year or so for a special occasion so I really want it to turn out good. I was trying to ask the girl questions about where to put the lotion on to avoid orange hands like I had in the past. She was very snippy and once doing the tan she yelled orders at me so fast I couldn't understand her and she acted SO annoyed when she needed to repeat herself. (so sorry you talk crazy fast and I cannot understand you over the very loud machine) I asked her how many tans she did in a day because I could tell she was SO jaded and over helping me at all. She said anywhere between 5-50! I get doing the same job is super annoying but dude, you have to learn some level of respect for people, especially when you have a job of servicing people when they are NAKED and super uncomfortable! If you want the cheapest tan you can find, go here. (the tan itself was pretty damn orange, really only looked good on day 2/3 then faded blotchy) If you want one you know will turn out good with someone who will treat you like a human and not something going through her conveyor belt, go somewhere else! read more

If I could give 0 I absolutely would. Yes the tans are the cheapest you can find in LA with the sales, but you definitely pay for that with customer service. The only tan technician is the owner, she cranks out mediocre tans every 15 minutes. If that's her business model, fine. What's not fine - actually disgusting - is her customer service. I have been probably 10 times and bought packages. I would have stopped going long ago but had a package to finish. She is always rude upon arrival, rushes clients, and makes passive aggressive comments if you are 1 minute late or canceled your last appointment. And she doesn't let of go...she makes rude, snide comments the entire time you are naked in front of her. My last straw was today. Actually - I am not even using my last session if anyone wants it. I arrived for a 1:30 appointment and she was behind by 15 minutes I politely asked the 1:15 I'd she would mind switching because I had a flight to catch. The prior client was nice enough to switch. I had not been in the room for 30 seconds before she opened the door while I was undressing. I let her know I was not quite ready and her response was, "You're the one in a rush, just waiting on you." in an extremely rude tone and slammed the door. Once I was ready on the towel, I asked if she had adhesive foot covers so the color does not dye the bottom of my feet. Her annoyed answer was "NOPE!" as she tossed my flip flops against the wall. As if this is not enough, about 20 minutes after leaving she text me with a message that read: My client that switched with you said you didnt say Thank You. Kinda rude." First, I did. Regardless, this completly innapropriate communication from a service provider. I could go on...every time i have gone i have told myself I wouldn't go again but the cheap tans kept me coming back to be mistreated, while naked, by somoene I am paying to recieve a service from. read more

I have been going to Ania for my spray tans for about three years now. I will not go anywhere else. She is very meticulous in application and wiping down your palms and nails after. The salon just moved to a new location so it is clean and organized. It is a quick in and out for a spray with unbelievable prices and specials being offered constantly. Most recently, I left to go on a cruise for 10 days.I knew I would be in bathing suits and shorts the whole trip. Without a base tan before my spray, I was worried about the spray tan rubbing off after a few days and leaving me with my pale skin or, even worse, tan patches from spray tan coming off uneven. I was beyond thankful, surprised, and impressed that I maintained an even bronzed tan the entire trip. My spray tan withstood sand, sun, salt water, and sweat. I am extremely disappointed! I usually go to my regular place in Marina Del Rey but I saw this place on Groupon and decided to check it out since it was closer to my home. Making an appointment was super easy and accommodating. The place was a little "janky" and didn't feel like an established location. Having the solution in open plastic pitchers, seemed a little unsanitary. It doesn't feel like they are striving to become a nice or classy tanning business. This has never happened to me before, but I am ORANGE and the creveses between my lady parts and thighs are nearly BLACK. I'm not sure if it's just the way my body is responding to the solution or maybe Anya over sprayed me or used a color that was too dark... whatever the reason, I hate my tan! I showered three times today and will to keep doing so, until this color comes off. read more

I got customed sprayed by Anna for my friends wedding and... WOW! I mean, I've been to soooo many shops all over LA and have gotten the mystic and also gotten the custom air-sprayed tan and they have NEVER turned out this amazing! Looks flawless and natural! No more putting on lotion on my feet and between my fingers hoping to not get streaks. She give you these cute stick on footprint thingy for ur feet so that you never get any of the spray on the bottom of ur feet. My tan still looks great after 2 weeks! An absolutely AMAZING find. Having had only one spray tan before (which was okay but after 3 days had almost disappeared), I'm now kicking myself for having waited so long to try it again, but so grateful to have found Anya! She is nothing short of an artist - which would explain her well-warranted frustration when customers aren't prompt (she's busy for a reason)! Anya is genuinely concerned about the satisfaction of her guests. I was a bit nervous after the appearance of some mysterious white spots on my legs, and she actually took the time to check in with me the next day to make sure they had resolved (which they did, as she assured me they would - and my tan is still absolutely gorgeous almost a week later). Furthermore, she uses what I believe to be the best solution available (Norvel Organic, a no-brainer) - sparing no cost to provide magnificent results at an incredible value. I went here for my first tan after having a baby. I felt self-conscious with my post baby body, but right away the lady doing my tan put me at ease. She just started chatting and I completely forgot I was standing basically naked in front of a stranger. She is very nice and I don't know why anyone would say negative things about her. I got the quick develop tan; it looked very natural and faded very gracefully without any blotching. My second time I got the regular tan which was a little darker in color (which I liked) but it didn't fade as gracefully as the other. However, both times the color was really pretty, never orange. If I could give negative Stars, I would. I have never been treated so poorly in my life. My friend and I purchased the groupon and made an appointment two weeks in advance. I confirmed via their text system. When we got there she assumed that we were someone else and said I was late...and was extremely rude. She then went on to tell me that we didn't have appointments. I told her she must be mistaken- she kept huffing and saying "this is so annoying" I showed her my text confirmation and she was getting angry and saying "no, this is not right, so annoying" she then reluctantly seemed to agree to do mine but was so rude about it and not helpful when I didn't know which shade. When my friend tried to hand her the voucher she was like "you too?!? No, No I wont do it" we were so confused! She went on to say that I had cancelled the appointments- I told her that was incorrect (at this point she was yelling at us that we were wrong) she just kept telling me I cancelled. She then said she would show me on her phone and I welcomed her to do so. She pointed at a number that wasn't mine and was like "see, right there you cancelled it- you did" I told her that wasn't my phone number and she went on to say it was because it was a "541" area code? Like I'm the only person who has one??? I told her that wasn't my number again and she just kept shouting at us. she said someone called and cancelled out appointment from that number (I felt like I was in the twilight zone-there's NO WAY) I told her I was going to write her a terrible review and she told me "do it, everyone loves me" that "our brains were small" and "the doors right there" we were shaking! I work in customer service and if I EVER spoke to someone like that I would be fired in a heartbeat. It was beyond terrible and I just wanted to cry. DO NOT GO HERE- this woman is an awful miserable person. I wouldn't wish the way were treated on my worst enemy. I formerly went to Glo Studio & while it was never a 5 star experience & you had to put up with the cranky owner, it was cheap & got the job done. So I was pleased to find Glo/Airbrush Tan's new location inside Lipstic Salon. However, I arrived at my appointment time & the door was locked and the place was dark. I called both Airbrush Tans and Lipstic Salon & no answer. Ready to give up, I decided to try scoping out the alley for a possible back door. I didn't see any signs but approached a neighboring business & they pointed out a shady looking wooden unmarked door for the salon. Nervous & 15 min late, I entered & was greeted by the owner/technician & told her that I had trouble finding her. She was visibly angry & yelled "you're DONE!" & pointed to the door. Confused, I said "what do you mean?" & she said that my appointment was over and proceeded to berate me for being late, saying that I'd be considered a "no show", (which I assume means that I would lose the money I paid upfront). She basically told me to "get out", still pointing at the door. The hostility was so surprising, I almost laughed - it seemed like she HAD to be joking (she wasn't). I've never been treated so rudely in my life! So I want to caution anyone who may be considering trying this business. Sure, it's the cheapest tan around. But do you really want to strip down while this hostile woman verbally abuses you? No thank you! I'll gladly pay a bit more to be treated with some respect. read more

Please disregard the comments below, they are rating an unresolved argument while never having the services. When I am reading other reviews I want to know about the services not about the interaction. You can catch people on bad days all the time and if someone wrote about my moods I would have a phone book stack of complaints. I am paying for a tan not a friend, and if I listened I would have missed out on a professional bomb tan for under 30$. Ana, the owner, sprayed me herself. I am an air brush tan connoisseur. Have been getting airbrushed since I was 17. She did a great job. Can't wait to book my next appointment. btw one of the cheapest tans in LA. The light medium was perfect not too dark and looks natural. I have showered twice and neither time has my tan faded significantly or started to look strange. Key to your tan and is pre and after care she is just the middle man and a great one at that. Do yourself a favor and loose 10lbs instantly for 25$ you won't regret it. read more

I have been getting spray tans forEVER and absolutely love this place. She does it so perfectly and my tan last a pretty long time. I do the express tan and leave it on for 3 hours before washing but this of course depends on skin tone. I highly recommend this spot if you want a great natural looking tan. read more

I have been going to Ania for my spray tans for a couple months now. Hands down the best pricing and solution in LA. Not only is the solution amazing, but Ania has a technique that is unlike any other out there. She takes her time and really knows what she's doing. You would never be able to tell I got a spray tan, it looks like I just got back from a week at the beach. When the solution wears off it isn't blotchy, it just slowly fades and you're ready for your next airbrush. The studio is also very clean and inviting, great location and great pricing! I used to go to Glo Studio from 2011 to 2013 and loved it. I always bought packages with no expiration date. I stopped tanning at the end of 2013 and apparently the business changed hands. I'm going to a wedding out of town this weekend and thought Hey! I'll use a spray tan that I still have. The day before my appointment Ania calls me to say she won't honor my prepaid tans. Didn't even offer to give me dollar for dollar value. When I pressed that she should because she inherited the asset of my prepaid business when she bought the business, and she gave me excuses like "it's almost 2018", it's been 4 years, etc. I told her no expiration date means no expiration date and that she had the chance to earn my business by doing the right thing. She was combative from the start and increasingly got more angry and rude to the point of agressive toward the end when I asked to speak with a manager. She never told me she was the owner, just lied and said they were very busy because it was the weekend (it was only Wednesday and I checked their schedule and it was wide open for the next 2 days). After I asked her to take her aggression down a 2nd time, she lost it on me, yelling that she has clients there and hung up on me. Then she cancelled my appointment. This is a case of raging narcissism paired with anger issues and she is a toxic delusional human being. Stay away. read more

The lady who operates this business needs to look deep within herself and ask if she really wants to be successful. She has terrible customer service- even over the phone. She's has a condescending tone, and is just plain rude- there are a ton of people on here saying the exact same thing about her. Her business ethics simply don't exist. She didn't honor a groupon that I had two tans left on, even though at the time of redemption I had asked her if they would expire now that I had used my first one. She assured me they wouldn't- which is actually typical for a lot of businesses (that want to keep business at least). I had my first tan done by her, which in itself wasn't bad, but the experience was sub par due to the location and the customer service. It literally felt like I was in a weird, dirty, shady place with a weird shady lady....which from reading the other reviews- was true! LOL...ya live and learn. Sometimes when a place offers a lower price, its for good reason. Not many returning customers due to just bad business. I wouldn't support this business and I suggest you go elsewhere if you'd like to be treated with respect, as well as for a quality spray tan :-) read more

Super relaxing, great location and I walk out of there feeling prettier than I did before I walked in. Best spray tan I've ever had! I have been a loyal customer for many years and refuse to go anywhere else because I've had bad experiences at other spray tanning salons. The owner Ania is friendly, caring, always on time, asks what color tan I'd like so that she can perfect my tan each time, and as busy as she is, she always asks how I'm doing. She pays attention to detail and offers competitive packages. She probably offers lower prices than any other spray tanning business on the Westside. I have followed her from her last 2 locations, but the current location at the Lipstick Salon on Venice Blvd. is my favorite. It's cozy, clean, conveniently located, and easy to park at. I have never been disappointed, as she is a pro at what she does. Don't listen to the negative reviews here. We all have off days and other distractions when we are working. Me and my friend both purchased Groupon vouchers for this location and immediately booked our appointments together 3 weeks prior to the actual appointment. The day before the appointment she received a text asking to confirm the appointment, which she did straight away. The next day we turn up and wait to enter. The lady opened the door and greeted us with a hostile glare and was immediately rude and unwelcoming. (Both myself and my friend have always worked in customer service and fully understand that people are not always in a good mood and customers can be just as rude and annoying, but in this case, her attitude was entirely undeserved as both of us were very friendly) We greeted her nicely, told her we had an appointment and a Groupon voucher, she proceeds to tell us that we're 15 minutes late. We showed her the appointment confirmation with the correct time and she double-takes, realizing she's made a mistake. Then, she starts to get all defensive and aggressively tells us that my friend called to cancel the appointment weeks ago and at like 7 AM - she starts pushing her phone in my friends face, pointing at the number that called to cancel, insisting that it was my friend's number, which is clearly wasn't. I told her to call the number (and mine) and see what happened, that way we could prove neither of us had cancelled. Then she rudely says she'll do my friend's spray tan, and when I then go to show her my Groupon voucher, she goes to click on the 'Redeem the code' button and then starts to yell at me saying that she can't see me over and over again, that we didn't have an appointment and was just completely frantic and rude, despite us clearly never having cancelled, which anyone with common sense would have realized. As we were walking out, I told her very calmly that she should approach customers with a better customer service attitude and she smirked at me and told me 'Everyone loves me', which can't be true if she treats every customer like that. At no point we were deserving of the way she treated us, we were consistently polite and considerate up until the point she started yelling at us.
