Those are suggested repairs. So that's when I learned that all these quotes for repairs were like a restaurant suggesting an expensive appetizer except telling me the refrigerant was low and needed to find a leak. It's not true and seems criminal to me. They serviced my unit last week and didn't even change the filters. The second company was angry with them after checking everything out. Run from Franklin.

One wanted to replace the entire unit, the other wanted to replace a bypass valve and add another duct and vent in the attic. NEITHER of these 'guesses' were accurate! Armor came in and did some trouble shooting. Instead of trying to throw parts at it, the investigated and found the problem. I am sooo grateful for Armor and the great job they did. This literally saved me thousands! The problem was a manual valve that had moved to the closed position over time and was not allowing the cool air upstairs. I almost trusted the wrong company. The manual valve shouldn't have been in there in the first place and Armor still caught it! Many, many thanks to Eric, John, Payton and Cade! My air went out and my house became very hot, very fast. I decided to use Bud anderson site to schedule an appointment for the next day. I recieved a call back within 5 minutes to discuss the issue and set up an appointment. Nathan was my last rep to service my unit, and i was very pleased by his speed and professionalism. He determined the root issues, quoted me the prices, and told me what i saved by being a GOLD member. I gave him the OK to procced, and he got right to fixing my unit. (Nothing worse than a chatty cathy service tech who wants to become your best friend while you are on a lunch break getting a service call done). He was professional and friendly. However, I can only give Bud Anderson 1 (and I would make it 0 's if I could). Why you ask? They had to come replace a drain tray that they installed. Yet another "Oh sh*t" (one of many I might add). But that isn't the worst. When they installed the tank, they left a plug unplugged. Everything is in a power strip, so it was really obvious there was only 1 plug left dangling. I saw that but I didn't know what it was, so I didn't want to plug it in (perhaps it was left that way on purpose). I asked Felipe what it was for. He told me it was heating tape to keep my lines in the attic from freezing. So, when we had 14-degree temps recently, my lines froze. And when they froze, water backed up. I had to put 4 aluminum trays under 4 leaks to catch the water. I don't know what is going on at Bud Anderson, but they are going downhill fast! There is a saying that 1 "Oh Sh*t" erases 100 "Atta Boys". At this point BA owes me 400 "Atta Boys". I hope not because that means 400 things went wrong. If I didn't have a service contract already paid for, I'd be done with this company. Whatever is going on, you need to right the ship pronto!!!

Here is a list of what he claims he found: Leak in the evaporator coil - When inspected by another licensed HVAC company no leak could be found and no evidence the coil was even assess. Replace the run capacitor on the outside unit - when the access plate was removed to check out the capacitor there a wasp nest with 4 or 5 live wasp that had to be removed before the capacitor could be checked. Re-wire Thermostat - This system has a wireless thermostat which is functioning as it should. In total over $1,000 in unneeded repairs were reconvened. We've tried several times to contact the company with no luck.
