I came to Airco Smog because my vehicle was requiring a Star Certified Smog Inspection, and not all smog locations are Star Certified. Airco Smog is Star Certified! When I arrived, it was excellent service from the minute I stepped inside. There were two vehicles in front of mine, but I was in and out of there in 15-20 minutes max. This place is honest, fair priced and has friendly service! They fully understand that when customers are treated great and they provide excellent service, most people will be a returning customer. They aren't there to rip you off or take advantage to make a quick buck like other smog locations will do. They want you to come back everytime you need your vehicle smogged and their service reflects this. I will definitely be returning and I highly recommend coming here if you need a Smog Inspection! read more

I've used this center for testing my older 1981 car twice now. Steve is great and goes above and beyond to take care of his customers. Even when there was a hang-up that required him to check with the BAR regarding a potential issue with my car he took care of it and we were able to complete my car's smog. I highly recommend taking your car to Airco. read more

I needed a smog check so I hit up Yelp to see ratings in my area. Airco came up close by and the highest rating. Small side of the road shop, but what more do you need when going I'm for a test only. The lady up front was friendly and great smile. She told me the price, got my keys and paperwork and I sat and waited. 20 min later I was all done. There was one person ahead of me. No frills no fuss in and out and good customer service. I'd recommend there service for smog check. read more

Look no further. This is the place to smog check. I had a problematic car. They tested it, told me what was wrong. I went back a few times to see if all the systems were functioning and no hidden check engine lights were on. After i fixed the real problem, my car passed. These people are honest, totally helpful, and not trying to cheat you in any way. read more

They don't recommend repairs that aren't needed, which is something I've felt other mechanics have done in the past. With Advanced Auto, that has never been the case. During one conversation, he placed his hands on the arms of two female family members in a way they found inappropriate and unwelcome. After the work was supposedly completed, I later had my oil changed and was informed there was still an oil leak coming from the same area. Concerned, I brought my car back to this shop to have them take another look. Instead of properly reevaluating the issue, they told me nothing was wrong with the valve cover gasket and claimed the leak was coming from something else. This didn't sit right with me, so I decided to get a second opinion from another mechanic. The second mechanic confirmed that the leak was in fact coming from the valve cover gasket, the exact issue I originally paid this shop to fix. This means the problem was either not repaired correctly or not addressed at all. It's frustrating to spend money on a repair, only to be dismissed when you return with a legitimate concern. I expected accountability and a willingness to stand behind their work, but instead I was given incorrect information and no real resolution. I would not recommend this shop based on my experience. I suggest others get a second opinion before trusting them with important repairs.

I also inquired about a transmission flush service, which I don't need but I did ask if I brought my own transmission oil if they would change it and they said yes and the labor if I'm not mistaken was going to be $80 I was so pleased to hear that because I've asked at Jiffy Lube and other places that I've taken to get my oil changed and they won't change it if I brought my own oil in. So that's a big plus right there so I'm happy to know that when it's time for me to do that service I'm gonna allow them to do it. This was my first time coming to speedy lube. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend.

Referred to Steve by my mechanic Russ Johnson at Value Automotive in Lake Elsinore. It took a few days for my car's computer to register the work Russ did to pass the smog. They must have hooked up the tester 6 or 7 times over 3 days, just as happy to see me each time, and never asked for payment until the job was done. Best $50 I ever spent. Steve and the other folks at Airco were super nice and professional. These are people you can trust. Will never go anywhere else. Thanks guys for a wonderful experience! read more
