These guys are a crook biggest scam ever!! They failed me for my dual exhaust which is ca compliant because they couldn't get the sniffer in (just had it smogged same way in December) And then marked that I had tampered vacuum lines for the reason it failed. I'd definitely avoid these crooked people, very dishonest. straight up don't go if you don't know about vehicles, a simple oil changed would of fixed my problem but because I didn't know I got charged 400 for a job a oil change would of fixed, smog shops have to have programs on their computers to open the business, Like Mitchell on demand or alldata which give you step by step Instructions and give a list to fallow. I am so sad today I was refer to go here to get a smog and the owner told me to drive my car for awhile longer, so that it can register in the computer and come back at 2pm and he will test the car for me. he had other customers and I guess he is not normally open on Saturday but he is open he said to two. When I returned at 1:52 he said he was close and got in his car and drove off and left me in his driveway. If he would have said that he will be closing early and come back another day I could respect that and went somewhere else. Hate to give bad reviews but not happy with these guys at all. Dropped my vehicle off for repairs to pass smog. I was told it would be $85 to diagnose the issue. I specifically told them to notify me if it would be more. They called and said it needs a new carburetor and would be $1,000 TO START. I made some calls and found out the dealer had just installed a new carburetor less than a year ago. Turns out it just needs the timing done. I decided just to pick it up and they told me it was $130. Needless to say, I would not recommend these guys. read more

Dont take your cars here they dont know how to do the smog check inpection correctly they failed my car due to timming out of range and the state doesnt require a timming check as of 2015 for 96 and newer vehicles now if my RPMs were out of range he would not be able to test it and would have had to abort the test plain and simple they either dont know what there doing or they fail you to make more money out of you read more

Went and got an oil change yesterday for my Subaru. Today while driving to work my low oil warning light came on. I think that's very strange since I just got it done. When I park I could smell oil burning. Pop my hood and checked my oil level and it looked low to me...only came up to the first dot. Took it back over and they tell me " oil is fine sometimes the light just comes on" I think horseshit. Every time I have had an oil change done my warning light has NEVER flicked on. Nacho had work on my car 2 different times for 2 different issues (over $1200) and im not talking about simple smog check. This time i woke up and my car wouldn't start, battery was good it just wouldn't crank. I had it towed to his place for a 3rd time. I knew it was a bad starter and im not even a mechanic. He knew it was the starter, he's a mechanic! And he still decided to charge me $85 to diagnose the car. Do not come here even for an oil change. They did not put the plug back in right and oil drained out of the car causing the engine light to come on. Not a very good mechanic and they would not even refund me my money back. Took my car to my dealer and he said the oil looked very dark and he was suspicious that it was recycled oil they are using. They are off Main Street 1 block north on a dead end road. I know I needed front brakes as I was hearing metal on metal when I would hit the brakes too hard. Quoted me almost $700.00 Dollars! I thought a bit too high! Yes, I know I needed a caliper and rotor. Did a good job! Told me I needed to do my rear brakes as well for $300 Dollars! I decided to wait a few weeks as I still had lining on my rear brake shoes. Had a mechanic who travels come to my doorstep. Said I could buy my own brake shoes which I did for $52.00 Dollars. Anyway, this mechanic who comes to me said he would charge me $120.00 Dollars labor. A far cry from the $300.00 quoted by the guy in Lake Elsinore. The mechanic came to my house and jacked up my car and as I was walking back towards him he said you don't need rear brakes! You have at least 20 to 30 thousand more miles on your rear brake shoes. I thanked him for his honesty and gave him a good tip and a bottle of water. I don't mind paying more money for good work, but I don't abide by someone who obviously charged me more for my front brakes and then lied about my rear brakes. I would give him 3 stars., but I don't like mechanics who lie. Even the 2nd mechanic told me that's why he works for himself. 2 stars at most. Took my car to get my ac service since,talked yo the owner of shop,told me about what the service they would perform for 95 dollars, so i decided to do it,after 35 mins he tells me the the ac was low of freon so he filled ut up to specs,n told me the ac compressor was bad and would eventually go out,he obviously gave me a quote of about 700 yo 800 dollars for parts n labor,which i thought way to expensive, so he finished the service i payed and left,this was on a Friday, Saturday i did not drive my car at all,till Sunday i noticed the ac actually blowing warm to almost hot air,,so obviously they don't open shop on Sunday so Monday i called,they said the owner would be back till the following Monday, i tried telling them about my ac issues yet they said it was best to call on Monday and talk to him,,I couldn't wait that long n not drive my car,n weather was around 100 n above in those days,,so i took my car to 3 different people to get my ac checked, all 3 told me my ac was over overfill and that my compressor wasn't bad at all,they said overfill caused to blow hot air and could blow my compressor or a a line could break,so i decided on one of them to work on my ac,they empty the system and refill it to the actual car specs,Ac was cold again, waiting till that Monday went to shop and spoke to the owner about it,and of course he got very offensive and so i showed him the actual prove the other 3 had told me what was wrong, then he calmed down and tried telling me,WELL NOBODY PERFECT,i was shocked he said that,Eventually after almost 30 mins of arguing with this guy,he said I'll give you half back of what you paid, at that point i didn't want anything to do with this guy or his shop,so i got half of my money and left,,Don't take your car here,,,He made my ac worse and he could've messed up more parts on my car,,,Avoid this shop... read more

I always get a second opinion when possible to compare the price of repairs, and his were comparable to others for the work he said needed to be done. He was able to do the repairs in good timing, conducive to my work schedule. He was available when he said he would be, and he got the work done when he said it would be done. Ok so i brought my truck in after calling in and asking for a price Nacho told me it would be $40.00 for the smogh check. Once i get in they put my truck on the test machine nacho comes back and tell me my the test machine is not reading my truck he said it looks like its missing a fuse. How can it be missing a fuse this is the first smog check its ever had the truck is completly stock. I told him well remove it from the machine and i will come back he said i cant do that ive gone to far in the process if i remove it the system will fail it. So i said how much to replace the fuse that according to him was missing he said $20.00 i pretty much had no choice but to pay him since the truck would fail other wise. After passing the smog he said he has to remove the fuse the installed due to it was just so he can test the truck. So the long and the short of this is that this place is a scam my truck was never missing a fuse this is just a way for this business to charge the real going rate of a smog check witch is $60.00 on and SUV.
