The driver wouldn't stop bitching about the fact that we didn't have our green piece of paper and continued complaining sarcastically in front of other passengers on the bus. My wife and I had enough. I asked the driver to stop the bus, my wife and I got off, and we waited for the next driver, Richard, who was as nice as could be and took us strait to our car in row 3. I told this guy, "you should not be dealing with customers". He also couldn't remember what our luggage looked like in the back which he had to now take out. I told him, "maybe you should have a green piece of paper for our luggage too". He mumbled something I couldn't understand. What is wrong with the nut balls Park-n-Go is hiring ? Do a mental evaluation before you hire drivers. We are the customer who pays for your service !

Qwik Park is a train wreck! Their operations are an inefficient disaster. The last three times we…read moreused them, they stranded us at the airport for 30+ minutes because they're unable to send a shuttle. When you call and ask for them to send someone, they only give you excuses. They do not care about customer service whatsoever. They also refused to take our unexpired coupon because they decided to increase their prices. When we mentioned the coupon didn't expire for four more months, they shrugged and said "that's the policy." Qwik Park is anti-customer and has predatory pricing practices. Use at your own risk.

If you're parking an electric vehicle, I'd recommend adding at least 20-30 extra minutes. You may end up standing out in the cold while several shuttles pass, even when staff at the entrance know you're waiting in EV parking. In addition, you need to plug in your use these spots. Your car doesn't actually charge though. Service seems disrupted, intermittent, or sporadic on a regular basis. I'm honestly not sure why I keep parking here expecting a different experience. Better communication with drivers would make a big difference, Qwik Park.

The Detroit Metro Airport surprised me, it's clean and has an easy to navigate layout. I was…read moreexpecting the usual crowds and congestion of airports like Atlanta, Houston or Miami, but DTW is a good airport to visit. The above ground tram works well and I used it to get to baggage claim. The animated water feature has jets that mimic flight map lines. It's very unique and located in McNamara Terminal. I was told to be sure to check this out, by people who have come through DTW. It's a feature that makes people look up from their phones. This airport offers a variety of restaurants and stores, along with clean bathrooms. Everything is open and walkable, kudos to whoever designed this large airport, it's the best I've been in, at least in the US. I didn't get the chance to go through the lighted tunnel, but it's another unique feature that makes the most of your airport experience. Any future flights through DTW will be something to look forward to.

I've flown in and out of this airport for years and never seem to have any major issues…read more Baggage claim is usually pretty quick too. Lots of places to eat, drink and shop at including a few local breweries like Jolly Pumpkin and Atwater. I decided to kill some time and walk the entire terminal on my last visit. I discovered a few interesting things like a lottery vending machine, salad vending machine (Farmers Fridge), duty free and an Air Margaritaville. I'll have to check that place out next time. The bathrooms are pretty good, could use an update but not the worst I've been in. Lots of art around the terminal too.
