Every other parking lot had two or three shuttles go by and I am still waiting for a shuttle from McNamara to the big blue deck. It's unbelievable that they have such poor service and shuttle frequency. I will most definitely be choosing an off airport lot next time. First hour is $6. Two hours of parking is $12. I parked on the first deck and took the stairs up to the fourth floor to cross to the terminals, towards the gating area. I had to come in before my flight, because the rapid rewards for Southwest did not update my last name change from over three years ago. Cost me $4 dollars to park for less than 20 minutes. This is how the airport makes so much money. The blue deck is very convenient, as long as your flight is out of the North terminal. If your flight is out of Delta and the McNamara terminal, you'll need to take a shuttle to get there. read more

Love the convenience right next to Evans terminal for easy in and out after a trip. It's expensive but expected due to its proximity.

I like this parking lot for flights out of the North Terminal. The commute to McNamara takes a while but cost wise is still worth it. The blue deck vans are fairly clean and well maintained. Daily parking of $16 is reasonable compared to $26 at McNamara. Sure there is offsite parking for less but then your car is not covered and the inconvenience of driving the distance offsite is time-consuming. read more

Four stars if you're in North. Two stars if you're in McNamara. Averaging out to a three. If you're at the North terminal this parking garage rules. But if you're at McNamara? Oof. It's just so confusing and stupidly complicated to get to the shuttle to McNamara. If you park on the first floor (where the parking is most plentiful) you can't just cross at a cross walk and get to the shuttle pick up. Nope. You have to go up to the 4th floor, cross over on a sky bridge, then go back down. I get that they don't want to maybe have people crossing the road but I have been to plenty of airports where crosswalks exist to get from one place to another and guess what? It totally works fine! It just adds a lot of unnecessary steps, especially if you're running late to catch a flight or you've just gotten back after a 3 hour delay and all you want is to get in your car and go home. Also the signage is pretty confusing. The price is pretty good at 9.99 a night, and it's closer than the other shuttle parking in the area, and like I said--it's easy if you're going to North (up to 4 and cross right over) but as someone who primarily flies Delta it's a bit of a pain to get two and from the other terminal. read more

Expensive. Had to pay full price for partial day $180 for 9 days !!! Seems kinda pricey

Wow $26/day to park here. Terrible rip off. Gone 10 days and a few hours and my parking bill was $280. My wife is in a wheelchair so we don't feel we have any other choices. Also, the signage is very poor and their are no maps we could find so I pushed her wheelchair a long ways to find our car when we got back. We visited San Antonio and their parking was only $16/day and very convenient. read more

Update 12/1/2017 I've watched 5 U.S. Park, 4 Qwik Park, multiple rental car, 3 airlines parking, and two valet connections shuttles pass by. 25 minutes later, I'm still waiting on the Big Blue D*ck shuttle along with more than 20 others. I'm done. Awesome taxpayer funded project, Detroit. Standard for your city. If you're heading to McNamara terminal, expect at least a 10-15 minute wait and sometimes 20. This is the only garage parking around, unfortunately. However, if you don't mind lot parking, go with an off airport company. Their shuttles come around at least 2-3x as often as the ones for Big Blue Deck, and with coupons, you can find parking a fair bit cheaper. The Deck is now up to $13/day as of this review. read more

I have watch the price of The blue deck increase while the service plummets. They use to run around the deck and pick you up for the terminals, now they make you walk 10 min to a drop off pick up location. These "pick ups" have slowed to a crawl and I'm always waiting for them. It defeats the purpose of of on site parking. Going to look for off site parking. If you are forced here because McNamara is full. Be prepared for an additional 20-30 minutes on your journey. Buses and very infrequent and some drivers can be nasty. The buses themselves are quite nice actually. This is a true hassle though. Lots of waking to go to the shuttle station. read more

Terrible. Maze-like layout, poorly signed, vast walking distances from many parts of the deck. You're much better off parking off-site at Quik Park or US Park. Cheaper and may be faster, depending on how long you drive around the Big Blue Mouse Maze looking for a spot, or looking for your car upon your return. read more

Blue Deck Parking waiting for a shuttle is as bad as green Deck Parking you want to get a shuttle immediately upon leaving the North Terminal always park at Airlines parking. It's on Merriman Road as you enter the airport take it North it's right there their shuttle will take you to the airport in seconds and they are always always right in front of the North Terminal because they have 15 different shuttles running constantly their lot is enormous. I landed at 11:30 p.m. at North Terminal walked outside right into an Airlines parking shuttle. The year before I had parked at the green lot got home at 11:00pm.. in the freezing cold snow had to walk 10 minutes to where they pick you up and it took the shuttle 35 minutes to get there! I recently came back from Dallas at 9:30 p.m. when it was -8 outside, my car didn't start after having been parked there in our frigid weather for 8 days. But that's no problem, I called the office and in 3 minutes the shuttle came and gave me a jump...Airlines parking is the best. read more

Terrible signage!!!!! I had no problem finding a parking spot, but trying to find my way to the North terminal was horrible. All the signs said walkway to the McManara terminal and I wanted to go to the North terminal. I walked around for 20 minutes before I figured it. I was only parking there because I was picking my mother up. I have used the off site Park N Go about 12 times over the years and I totally give them 5 stars. Avoid the big blue deck. read more

Got stuck parking in Green Lot as Long Term was full. They suck just as bad in Green Lot. 15+ minute wait and then jammed in van with 8 other people and luggage blocking the way. Avoid DTW Green and Big Blue at all costs. There should be -5 Star review. read more

If you're going to macnamara do NOT park here. There is a shuttle to macnamara, but it's so slow you're better off taking a cab.

Traveler beware!!! Signage for short term/long term parking confusing. Parked on short term level thinking we were in long term, $13 a day turned into $33 a day! Parking attendant wasn't willing to help out in any way. read more
