Who hasn't seen these awesome silks and aerial artists in Vegas or somewhere and wanted to try it out!? This is a space where you can do that, safely, and in a small group environment with a professional who can walk you through it slowly. They have several classes a week and an easy online schedule where you can read about the different levels, what to expect in each class, etc. You can sign up for classes, pay online, and sign the waiver before class even begins. You can also sign up for a membership monthly which has several packages you can do. I've had fun pushing my boundaries and learning new things. I love the aerial yoga class and plan to come back for that. Classes range from beginner to intermediate and advanced. They have some yoga upstairs, some aerial yoga, some harder classes as you progress, and some for younger teens to do with parents also. It's all good. Highly recommend.

The classes are fun albeit challenging(in the best way! Talk about a work out physically AND mentally!). The instructors are SO kind and skilled. They have lots of patience, even with newbies like ourselves. Plus I love that you can slowly learn more and more, as many different classes are available at different skill levels. Also, the studio is so clean and adorable!

My mind and body are very grateful for Dawn Pilates studio…read more I have needed a physical life upgrade (and mental getaway) for months now. Covid has been a beast. Thankfully, so is Pilates! Since I'm a regular at neighboring Egg Bistro, Red Chair and Elite Nails, I have seen Dawn Pilates studio a few times now and was always curious about getting back into some form of physical activity. So I checked out their website and signed up for an introductory class yesterday evening. The studio is immaculately clean and the equipment is very well kept. They have sanitizer available and the instructors wear masks during classes. As you enter, you'll find cubbies to secure your belongings right up front. Toward the back, they have restrooms and a private studio. They have a selection of activewear, socks and other accessories to aid your practice and make you feel fancy. Personally, I find that cute workout wear inspires me to work harder. You will have to sign a waiver and provide some health-related info before starting. I am glad they ask for this as, without knowledge, you can easily exacerbate injuries if you do not make your instructors aware. They also inquire about your goals and will offer suggestions about how often to practice to reach your goals. They have a variety of equipment (reformer with tower, TRX, Bosu, other mats and balls) so that your classes won't get stale and you will see continuous progress. The introductory class is no-pressure, super informative and a quick way to fall in love with pilates (for me, a 2nd time around). Brande was the instructor and guided my form during the class while also being motivating and encouraging. After we finished, she reviewed the pricing with me (again, no pressure.. thanks, Brande!) and asked if I had questions. Like hot yoga, prices are definitely an investment for memberships, but they have several options depending on how often you expect to take class and are currently offering a 10% discount until the end of the year. I asked about pay-in-full discounts and she indicated that was also an option. I expected to feel incredibly sore this morning and I do, which is such a good feeling! My wallet won't be as happy as the rest of my body though...shew! But I am certainly eager to start taking classes regularly!

What I love about Hot house is that they're more structured and have more information before you get into heated yoga practice. Although an added charge, they have a road map of postures online that you'll be going through and give you insight as well as modifications if you're just starting out, it's great for beginners as well as advanced practitioners that might want to go back and review. Knowing this helped me feel less awkward and to just focus on my postures. The classes are consistent when it comes to poses. Hot house yoga room is organized with dots that you align your mat with and what's great is that they play music while you practice the poses. Beginner = Stability classes More Experienced = Hot Flow Hot house yoga, is and can be spiritual (I mean yoga itself is spiritual), I hear people say that it feels good and yes I get a good runners high at the end but I still feel like a loose noodle and not so much a stiff pretzel (which is a good thing). What I like about doing heated yoga is that it's a life changing (how do they say it...) paradigm shift. The only thing that I can possibly see Hot house improve upon is probably adding a sauna/steam room to quickly acclimate before the class. It's a challenge in the beginning but that's just me because I enjoy winter more. They have Mat and towel rentals. They offer a good line of yoga products which is with Manduka. I've had a Manduka mat and towel for years and they last a long time. The classes are flexible and affordable which is great.

Here's the thing - the studio has a very sophisticated HVAC (heating and air flow/filtering system). I don't think I have found another hot yoga studio that provides that level of air quality during practice. Equally important are the people, the staff who check you in and the yoga instructors. Honestly, someone suggested I try hot yoga and I thought there was no way I'd make it through a class. Now, here we are 2023, and I am still practicing at Hot House Yoga. There are many health benefits when you add hot yoga to your practice. Yoga was transforming for me, and I took it up later in life. Then I tried hot yoga and I am very grateful that I found a clean and beautiful place to practice. Thank you Hot House Yoga. Namaste.
