Walked into Airpark tint & spoke with the owner Manny about options to tint my new car. First off, they only carry top of the line Formula 1 tint, which isn't the cheapest, but it's definitely worth the price. In other words, you get what you pay for. Being a full time resident of Palm Desert, the summers are BRUTAL averaging well over triple digits. I needed something that'll not only provide UV protection, but also block out heat. Manny showed me a demonstration of the heat blocking capabilities for the different tiers of tint they carry. I was sold at this point. I came back later that afternoon, & my car was finished in about 2 hours. Manny installed the tint himself, & was professional & courteous while doing so. This is a small shop down the road from my office. I called the shop to make an appointment to get the windows in my new car tinted. Manny was able to get me in the same afternoon. Manny explained how he doesn't cut the film on the car so I didn't have to worry about my seals being cut during installation. I dropped my car off a little later in the afternoon so Manny stayed late to finish the job. I purchased the ceramic film and have been very happy with the result. I went there for window tint, I made an appointment for Saturday and the guy seemed like he was in a hurry to finish the job and leave. After I got home I noticed a big air bubble pop up on my back window, so I called back to get that taken care of and the guy said I could go back Monday and he would stay later to fix it for me, so I left work early to make it there in time and they had already closed and the guy had left. I called him and let him know I was there waiting and he said he completely forgot I was going back and he was busy doing another job and I said we'll I'm a paying customer as well and I paid for tint and expected it to look nice and left work early for him to fix it, he started getting an attitude and was being rude to me. It has a very simple front waiting room with a couch and some and Netflix which is awesome if you are waiting for your car. Manny is very friendly and helpful on picking out your shade. Took my new car here based on the good reviews. But I was not completely satisfied. There are small bubbles in my tint. Manny is a nice guy, and did his best to fix it. I previously wrote of my experience with Airpark and how they did not answer my phone or messages for a duration of time. The owner responded afterwards and detailed that they experienced some issues with the phone or something of that sorts. But what really got me to change my mind on the experience was not the apology. Airpark went out of their way and demonstrated that they truly care about their customers. When I went into the store, my personal display wasn't the most gracious, but, Manny still kindly informed me about the tint job and he went on to extensive lengths to do an exquisite job on my car.Price wise, Airpark isn't the cheapest place, but, I guess quality doesn't just come without the higher price tag. I decided to get my brand new Chrysler 300 tinted at this shop based on all of the reviews. when I took my car to them it had less than 200 miles on it when I picked my car up the car seats that were in the back were just thrown back into the car they were upside down not even set nicely on the seats. there were dirty footprints all over the seats, the doors, and the back of the front seats. there were water spots all over the insides of the doors and the center console on the dash every single window in the car has a flaw in it. the right side has too big of a gap at the top, the rear window has a tear in it, the left side has air bubbles and sand underneath the tint that won't come out I called the owner Bryan talk to him about it he asked me to call him and make an appointment when I had time. I called and ask if they are open Christmas Eve they said no I said fine so I called back and asked their if they would be open today on New Year's Day he said no I asked if he was open on the weekends he said no the reason I'm asking if they're open these days is because I'm the only one that works at my company and I can't just leave work and nobody be there so I'm trying to work it with my schedule. he had told me in a previous conversation he would give me a ride with a company vehicle to work because of the inconvenience when I said okay let's just make it for Thursday New Years Eve and you can give me a ride he then told me they dont give rights and I said well the last time I talked to you you told me you would give me a ride he says not my job to shuttle you around town he didn't proceeded to say what is with you you want me to work on holidays you want me to work on the weekends and now you want me to drive you around town in my company vehicle I said you told me you give me a ride and I was just asking if you were open those days I didn't request that you work those days I told him his attitude was starting to irritate me he wasn't being very professional he told me he would need my car all day long to fix the problems but he didn't believe me that every single window has a problem or a flaw. I informed him that the day I dropped it off I was told they were shooting a commercial for the business so they were in a hurry to get everything done it doesn't take a genius to figure out they rushed that's why it's all screwed up. He told me you obviously I don't have very good standards which makes no sense because I was saying it wasn't good enough and he said to me quote what is with you you're asking me to bend over backwards for you. all of you can be the judge weather asking him to fix something that was screwed up is bending over backwards I don't think it is apparently he does he told me he is no longer interested in fixing the tint on my car I was a s***** customer and he wanted me to bring the car to him so he can remove the tint and give me my money back I told him I don't want that it removed I just want it fixed and done correctly he told me no I'm not doing it I will only remove it and give you your money back. So now I have a temp job that's not done correctly and I don't even trust these people enough to work on my car so now I'm basically out of the money I pay and I'm going to have to go somewhere else that I can trust and have them remove and replace it so I'm out even more money please don't go to this place all the reviews are great my experience was 100% opposite of what everybody says from the very beginning when I walked in the front door I asked if I could please have a receipt for the purchase or something showing that I'm leaving my car with them for the day this is it oh yeah we do everything by email will send it to you right away so I said we'll send it to me now so I can wait and I going to have something saying my car is here I'm not going to just leave my car here with no proof that I did and I didn't get anything from them they told me old something must be wrong with the computer I ended up having to ask again when I picked my car up I got a funny feeling right away but I just went ahead and did it anyway and now I regret it read more
