I really like that this is provided from the airport because it was a great experience. I just kept gushing about it to my friends that it was so easy. This is a great way to get from South Beach to the Miami Airport. Quick and easy. Fare was 2.75 and the fare box will accept touchless credit cards. The bus was clean and had nice luggage racks. Very convenient to get from south beach to miami international. Fare is $2.65 one way or $5.65 for a full day pass purchased at the machine. Usually a modern bus with luggage racks shows up but sometimes it can be substituted for a older bus without the perks.. Some buses have free wifi too. Word of advice when going to the airport do allow extra time to get there.... The buses never run according to schedule and are often late or delayed. read more

Now this is what an airport bus is supposed to be like. Cheap, air conditioned, and with luggage racks. So many other towns get it wrong but not the 150 bus. Very happy with the service. Just an FYI that it now costs $2.65 to ride rather than $2.30 referenced in a lot of reviews. Guess the price just went up. The Miami Beach Airport Flyer is wonderful. I try to figure out a city's/airport's public transportation system on line in advance if I can and fortunately found out about this before hitting the Miami airport. (I did the same thing in Orlando on the second half of our trip and was well-rewarded there, too.) The fare from the airport to Miami Beach is $2.65. At the airport follow the signs for the rental cars or the metro rail system, they are all together at one end of the airport. At the top of the escalators down to the buses are a bank of ticket machines where you can purchase your fare tickets. And there is an employee there ready to help you make the purchase. If you're returning to the airport at the end of your stay it makes sense to buy the return ticket at the same time. I'm not sure whether the bus takes cash; probably, but why chance it. Get the ticket, go down the escalator, and the stop for the flyer is at the bottom, clearly marked. You will get a brochure with your ticket that shows all the stops in Miami Beach. Our hotel was only a block from the second stop. There is a recorded announcement in the bus for each stop so you shouldn't be caught flat-footed and miss your stop. And you can check with the driver. The trip in was, maybe, 20-25 minutes. Definitely worth it. read more

This is the cheapest and easiest way to get from MIA to SoBe - only $2.30 each way (be sure to have exact change)!!! As of Sunday, July 22, 2012, all Metrobuses (except the 133 tri-rail shuttle) will no longer serve the airport terminal bus stops, and will now serve the MIA Metrorail station (the trains will be in service Sunday, July 28, 2012)/Metrobus terminal, which is accessible from the airport via the MIA mover (located on the third floor of the airport terminal with a moving walkway). The bus departs the MIA Metrorail station/Metrobus terminal pretty much every half hour from 6am-11pm daily (except weekends, there is no 10:30pm shuttle). Currently, there is construction along the Eastbound Airport Expressway, so the trip could take up to 10 minutes longer than normal, but the bus will normally take about 30-40 mins tops to get you to the heart of SoBe. The reverse also runs roughly from 6am-11pm daily. Super cheap and easy way to get into downtown Miami from the airport! From the airport, you follow all the signs toward the Metro rail (basically follow the signs for rental cars). It's a quick ride over to the rental car area/bus station. You have to purchase your ticket at the kiosk ($2.65 one way). I've taken this route twice and each time the staff is very helpful and friendly! After you purchase your tickets you go downstairs and wait for the 150 bus (very clearly and easily marked on the column). Buses are scheduled to run every half hour. You can purchase your return ticket when you initially purchase at the kiosk or give exact change when you. Catch the bus on the way back! read more

I'm a fan of checking out local cities' public transport so I decided to head back to the airport today on Miami transit. to make sure I had my bearings since neither the transit website nor google maps was as transparent as i'd like when it comes to directions. (traveling as a solo female means I've got to make sure I know where i'm headed. there have been some interesting hijinks with public transport in my past travels. i'm too old for that foolishness now.) SO, I called the transit number to speak to someone to get the skinny. after a brief wait this morning, a pleasant service agent answered the line. he was efficient and to the point - take the 150 bus (fare of 2.65usd which can be paid in exact change on the bus) to airport station then take the *free* MIA mover to the airport. my bus was a little late (like 5-10 minutes) and hit some minor delays on the way, but we made it to the airport on time. there was a pleasant dude directing us off the bus and to the elevator to take to find the mover. the MIA mover comes like every 3-5 minutes so there wasn't much of a wait to catch the next train. I think the mover took about 3-5 minutes to make it to the airport. all-in-all, the total trip time from bus on Miami beach to airport was a little shy of an hour (starting point was 13th and washington ave) so plan accordingly. I will definitely be choosing this option in the future if I've got the time since 2.65usd is so much more economical than the 35usd + tip for taxi service. the extra $$ can be spent on the more enjoyable aspects of a trip to Miami beach. read more

I have taken this bus in the past many times and was very happy with the service. Today, I saw bus pass Kimtpon/ SLS hotel right after 17th & Collins stop twice: 6.15 pm ( assuming it was running 10 mins late to 6.04 pm schedule and at 6.23 pm fee mins ahead of 6.24 pm schedule). So we went to the bus stop to catch 6.44 bus. While waiting, I saw 2 buses pass in opposite direction but none came back, not at 6.44, not at at 7.04 and not at 7.24. we ended up getting Uber for double the price. Not sure what happened to the bus but waiting an hour on packed bus stop is hardly covid safe. Plus, a guy tried to steal my phone that I just put in my backpack. read more

Finding the bus stop area is a bit confusing from the terminals, so just be sure you keep following signs for the MIA Mover and buses. Once you get to the bus terminal, look for the boarding area with the Route 150 sign. Great way to get to South Beach from Miami Airport. My wife and I had a layover in Miami and had 6 hours before our flight. A Metro worker told us about the Flyer and it worked out great. About 15-20 min to South Beach. With stops close to Lincoln Rd, Collins, ocean and Washington. Add very affordable compared to taking a cab. Even if you just need transportation to south Beach, they have racks to put your luggage. read more

Yes, the fare did recently rise to $2.65. Hopped on this bus last Saturday. Large luggage rack aboard, and only takes about 20 minutes from the last Miami Beach stop. Not only is this the Stellar way to reach the airport, but it ends at the new airport Metrorail/Metrobus station where you can connect with buses going south to Coral Gables and Coconut Grove or north to Miami Springs and Hialeah. You can hop on Metrorail to Downtown Miami. You can also take buses 42 or J to Greyhound six blocks away, or walk if you want. Sometimes City Hall does come up with good ideas, and money well-spent. read more

Miami Bus NO150 from airport is great!! Single ticket is 2.65$, return 5.30$, you can choose a return date also. Two gentleman were standing in front of the ticket machine and helping everyone, that's another great thing about it. It takes about 30min to get to north collins ave(17th street). Before all that when you land in Miami you have to follow signs MIA Mover, you can't miss it, they are everywhere. Another good thing about MIA Mover is that it's free. All together is way better than 30-50$ taxi, uber or shuttle from the airport. read more

I am so happy I took the 150 Miami Flyer bus from the airport to South Beach! I believe the bus comes by the airport every 20-30 min. The stop was just 2 blocks from my Airbnb. it runs down Collins Ave onto Washington Ave, on the main drags so super convenient. The ride was about 30 min each way for $2.65! There were limited stops. I checked Uber and it was going to cost $18-$24. Since I was traveling by myself and had some time to kill I thought why not save myself some money and take an air conditioned ride on the flyer? Put some money aside for some delicious Cuban food ;) The bus was clean. My flight in and out left early in the morning so we didn't hit any traffic going to or from the airport. Note that the 150 station is about a 10 min or so travel time (walk/shuttle) from the terminal. read more
