Best homemade pizza. Homemade pizza from that small town mom and pop feel. Authentic Homemade sauce and crust. Big box pizza can't compare.

Mama Mia! Is this the best pizza in town?…read more I finally came to check out the top reviewed pizza shop in Vaughan. Taste of Naples Pizzeria is hugely popular for locals here with many Italians in the area. The 16" pizza yielded 8 large tasty slices with a soft light pizza crust, fresh tomato sauce & good topping ingredients. Crisp thin crust bottom gave a nice finish. This is a real Neopolitan pizza that's a touch better than I've had elsewhere. You do pay a bit more for the quality compared to another local fav next door. Be sure to order takeout early as we encountered a queue but our pizza was ready in a timely manner. Just wait for your number to be displayed outside before heading in to pickup. As they say on the restaurant wall, you owe it to yourself to try. Let me know what you think!

It wasn't mentioned at the time of purchase, and I didn't realize it until I got home. We are the pizza about 30 minutes after pickup, and found the crust to be hard and chewy. For the reasons of the pizza being burnt, the surcharge, the tough crust, and that there are many pizzarias to consider in Toronto instead, so I will not be returning.

We've discovered a Richmond Hill gem! Ordered a panzerotto with extra meat sauce and items inside…read more Cost around $25 and it was really big, enough to share with 2 people and still feel full. Definitely get the extra sauce! Makes every bite extra delicious. Be aware though that this is messy to eat, even with a knife and fork. After paying for our order, we were given a menu with coupons to use for our next visit. There's no place to eat inside, as this is a take out only restaurant. You can eat outside the restaurant and they provide a garbage bin outside where you can discard any trash after eating.

Basically a take out/pick up place with a bench to sit/wait for walk-ins like myself. Notice many customers ordered in advance and picked up to avoid waiting time. As soon as you walk in, the smell of dough, pizzas, Italian cooking smacks you in the face like a Mack truck crashing through a marshmallow factory. I ordered the small pepperoni pizza and their "infamous" Panzerotti (fried of course). Waited 15mins, counter staff were friendly and helpful, answered my noob questions with the patience of a saint. Rushed home, skidding over the road ice and nearly grazing the huge snow banks on the side roads. Panzerotti where have you been all my life. Similar to Calzone but thinner and much larger. Golden crunchy goodness with a significant cheese pull. I choose the meat sauce filling (Xtra $2), well worth it. Staff recommended the garlic dip (Xtra $1.50), brought the Panzerotti to a higher level. I was tempted to eat the whole Panzerotti all at once, glad my brain warned me to eat only half which was more than enough. The small pizza had a good ratio of cheese/sauce to crust, every bite was pure joy. Pizza crust had a chewy, slightly salty flavor profile. Not the best, dough/crust above average, then again I'm a little bias hanging out in New York's Little Italy during my misspent youth gorging myself on New York style pizza slices. Mama, I think I found my favorite neighborhood Italian take out place. Can't wait to try their veal/chicken parmigiana sandwiches.
