Upon first going in, it doesn't look like much, but then you get talking to Donny or Carol let me tell you, it's one of the best pizza's in town. Made fresh before you. You can always customize it to your liking and it's always delicious. BUT, if you are a fan of Panzerotti's you absolutely have to get that. It's so big, it'll serve you for 2-3 meals. Baked to perfection. The place may not be the most clean, but if you look past that, and partake in his food, you won't regret it. Donnie is quite the character and an all round good guy. TOO SALTY!!!!! Was hoping to rate this high. Other reviews were high, positive about the owner, his pedigree in Collingswood pizza. Bought a medium cheese pizza. Couldn't finish the second slice. It's the sauce! Crust and base is chewy, heavy. Was looking for an old school pie. Maybe the positive ratings are because it's the only game in town for older styles. And all the others are doing Napoli style. Pretty sure none of those have wood burning ovens. Collingwood pizza scene is very sad. Won't return until the sauce changes. read more

Cheese on top is my favourite for pizza! Although it's a small pizza place with barely enough room to stand, they make excellent pizza and great value, fresh toppings, sweet and personal service. A real mom and pop's place. I visited Blue Mountain and stopped here on my way back to Waterloo. I loved the Pizza cold too! Much better than any Pizza Pizza or Pizza Hut, and excellent value also! Taste=superb! Owner attitude=superb! Overall superb rating. I ordered the Hawaiian pizza & its the best one I've had so far. Even the crust tastes good! The crust is a little sweet which was a pleasant surprise. Usually I don't eat crusts, but in this case i had too hehe so good. This a take out place with 2 chairs for u to sit on while u wait. This is not a sit down restaurant and there is no table for u to eat on. But that's okay because the place is still pretty awesome. Pizzas are made fairly quickly. Done in around 10 minutes. Personally there was too much cheese for my liking and I prefer more toppings and tomato sauce over cheese, but at the end of the day it was a good pizza and maybe I should have specified my preferences. Love, love, love this place! Many years ago when they were on the main drag I stumbled in and got a slice. I didn't live here then but was so blown away by the amazing taste. Next time I was up here I was disappointed to see the place gone. It took me a bit of time but discovered they'd not closed, just moved. Phew. My fav pizza for sure. This is how you don't do pizza. Once upon a time, Mountain Shores was a reliable alternative to chain pizza but it's deteriorated to the point I can't say I would ever go back. The pizza is so incredibly greasy and the cook on the pizza is inconsistent (undercooked to overcooked). Sometimes the amount of cheese is sufficient and sometimes it seems like there's twice as much. The store is a dive. Good thing it's so small. The garbage can is always overflowing and the counter looks like it hasn't been wiped in weeks. You can imagine what the floor looks like, too. Rather than have slices, they have small pizzas made ahead of time that are left in boxes sitting around. I'm sure that's not the preferred way to keep product at temp. I couldn't imagine what the storage areas look like. read more
