I have needed a few referrals over the years and she always gets me to the right and reputable specialists when I need one. I was scheduled for mid April and the scheduler took down all my contact and insurance information. Well, a few days before my visit I called the office to confirm my appointment and the staff member tells me your appointment is scheduled for April 2023. Who schedules their annual physical a year in advance? When I told the staff the scheduler obviously made a mistake they were able to fit me in for the following week due to a cancellation. Of course, I decided to confirm my appointment a day in advance, especially after my last incident, at which point the staff mentions that Dr Howerton is out of town and that I would be seen by the nurse practitioner instead. I was relieved that despite yet another oversight by this medical office that my health care needs were finally addressed. Fast forward to today, I had a virtual visit scheduled at 7:45 AM with Dr Howerton due to some recent health concerns. The online reminder email told me to sign in 15 minutes prior so I did as suggested. Promptly at 7:45 AM I logged into the tele-health call and waited until 8:00 AM and Dr. Lena Howerton was a no-show. Obviously this institution and its staff has no regard for their patients' time or well-being for that matter.

Unfortunately, her front office staff, specifically receptionist has Zero interpersonal skills. She doesn't make eye contact and she doesn't communicate what she's doing so you're left standing there wondering, "WTH is she doing" or "am I just supposed to stand here?" As previously mentioned, I've been coming to Dr. Warfield for years yet all of the sudden, this lady tried to charge me a copay for which I've never before had to pay with my insurance. She's also very depressing when she speaks. For patients who are battling depression and anxiety, it's extremely upsetting! As the face of the clinic, this position requires someone with energy and enthusiasm. It demands someone with optimism and excellent customer service skills- willing and excited to help out patients coming in for help. I can only hope this person receives the proper training needed in customer service or is switched with another staff member more apt for the position.

I was told to get initial lab work done which I did. I communicated via the app that Euphora uses the date of the labs, but they still asked me to complete the labs even after I got them done. I found that a little weird, but no big deal. When it was time for the first appointment, I showed up a few minutes early and a sign on the door told me to please knock or call. I did both multiple times, and no one came to the door. Eventually another patient just walked into the waiting room, so I followed. I had waited 13 mins and no one was at the front desk. The other patient yelled "hello?" and someone finally came to the desk to help. I found it odd there was a waiting room yet we were told to wait outside the office--there weren't even any chairs or anything to sit in. The person who took my vitals didn't introduce themselves. Dr. C came in promptly, and while she was great, she provided a very, very rushed physical. The appointment literally took maybe 4 or 5 mins. As the appointment was ending, I asked what ever happened to my bloodwork and she said they still didn't have it but she would check (I had the labs done 2 weeks prior!). As I was leaving and getting into my car, Dr. C called and said they did, in fact, have the bloodwork and went over everything with me. While I liked Dr. C overall, between no one being at the front desk at the time of appointments and a super rushed first visit, it was a kinda crummy first impression, enough to make me cancel. I hope that Euphora Health can have attentive staff and remember how important first impressions are to patients! I will be looking into other DPC options in the area moving forward.

I was referred to Dr. David George at Texas Oncology in Kyle. Dr. George is a specialist focusing…read moreon Oncology and Hematology. I was diagnosed with iron deficiency anemia. Making my appointment was super easy. I received a phone call from Adrian who explained everything about the appointment process. He e-mailed me all the paperwork to have completed before my appointment. Then he confirmed Dr. George was in network with my insurance. When I arrived to my first appointment to meet with Dr. George I was greeted by Tina who was wonderful. I had a lot of questions about the paperwork. Tina took her time talking to me and was great. I had to have blood work done and Irene was fantastic! She did a great job getting my blood quickly and on the first try. Then I met the MA Jennifer who I felt like was my homegirl. She was very professional but she was so easy to talk to. Dr. George came in and his bedside manner was great. He explained everything and gave me peace of mind. He did tell me that I would need to get an iron IV. Shannon and Nicole were the infusion nurses and while they had a difficult time finding my veins (my veins always make nurses work for their money honey) they were patient and got it done. I have spoken with Eliza multiple times and she is always so pleasant and Anisa who was great. Overall I am so happy to be treated at this location. I feel like everyone was so compassionate and kind. Great staff here. I highly recommend this location and Dr. George.

Dr. Reddy seemed personable at first. However, she never seemed fully knowledgeable about what she was doing. She recommended tests that later specialists in the field would say were unnecessary. She wouldn't accept any other doctor's opinion (this is my health; it is my right to get a second opinion if you're telling me to do something I feel is either expensive or potentially dangerous to my health). She would get angry if I didn't do exactly what she said (despite telling her of the above specialists' recommendations to the contrary of her advice). I was very disappointed with this doctor. I'd heard that she was good, but that was not my experience in the times I went to her. I have, since, found another doctor that actually is willing to work with me instead of dictating to me. Dr. Reddy never could comprehend that it's best to actually work WITH the patient instead of treating them like they don't know their own bodies.

She was a great resource when dealing with my husbands cancer diagnosis, and I believe she referred us to the best doctor in Austin to deal with it. I do admit that her staff seem a little testy from time to time, but it's worth it once the doctor arrives. Many times she runs behind schedule, but then, she never rushes either of us when its our turn, so it's something we're willing to deal with (this may be why the staff is testy - they have to deal with unreasonable patients that don't realize what comes around goes around with the "time with the doctor" situation). I trust her with my health and hope to remain a patient for many years to come.
