Amazing little coffee shop surrounded by nature. Very relaxing and beautiful! I was able to see a variety of local birds as well as some chipmunks! I came very early on a Friday morning, around 7:30 am, and the coffee shop and trail were fairly empty. I had a very peaceful start to my morning along with a great cup of hot coffee.... What's not to love? I am very jealous Little Rock, Arkansas doesn't have a branch. Please come to Little Rock!! Did I mention they have a swing set for adults ? Many ride their bikes, walk their pups and or enjoy a delicious drink, food or bake good from Airship Coffee. The day was so beautiful many people were out. The line was a little long however it was worth the wait. You can sit on a swing, bench or on top of the shop either way the scenery is beautiful. I fell in love with this place. The staff was very sweet; we had pulled pork nachos and I had a sunset smoothie. The nachos were delicious and freshly made. My smoothie was so refreshing and delicious. I really loved Airship Coffee's location along a trail and how the architecture of the building looks amongst nature. I ordered an iced oat milk vanilla latte, and while the coffee itself was smooth and had a nice bold flavor, they forgot to add the vanilla (a $1 upcharge) so that was disappointing. The biggest downside was the wait: the line took nearly an hour, although I did go during the holidays. The staff was very nice and clearly overwhelmed, doing their best under pressure, but the operation felt disorganized and slow. While I loved the setting, I'd be hesitant to return unless it's significantly less busy. read more

My husband and I came here on St. Patrick's day. Little did we know it was going to be Daycare Galore with kids screaming everywhere as we not only came on a holiday forgetting but also during spring break! We came to their Coler location that requires offsite parking- that requires having to walk (just under 1 mile) to get to it. We absolutely loved this idea and got to enjoy a scenic trail to get to Airship. Upon arriving you see this beautiful coffee shop nestled in the woods, with vast seating on the side including awesome swing seats (there's only 3) unfortunately we were unable to use seats as they were filled with children. I ordered their sunrise smoothie and my husband tried their local beer. Both were good however neither of our drinks were anything to write home about. Service was a on par with Starbucks busy drive thru. We came here on vacation and will be back to try this place again to be able to enjoy it as intended, sipping your coffee while listening to the beautiful outdoors. Took family for food and coffee. They only carry a few baked goods, they no longer take cash, and when I asked for espresso brownies because they are gluten free I was given something I've never seen when I asked what it was they said a Carmel something, but I asked and paid for the gluten free espresso brownie why not just say they don't have them anymore instead of letting me pay and receive what I didn't ask for. This place is down a trail without parking nearby so you'd have to either walk/hike or bike here...So not necessarily accessible for people with disabilities or mobility difficulties. But the coffee is very good and it's located in a unique spot. Hike the trail, get some coffee, then keep going. It's outdoors but has a bathroom indoors if you need a pit stop lol. What an amazing place! I'm from NWA but now live out on the west coast. I actually heard about this place on Instagram and knew I needed to add it to my itinerary for my next trip back home! We planned to come here on a warm and sunny Saturday afternoon. The Airship website provides all the info you need to know on where to park and how to get to this location (this is the Coler location). You are not able to drive up to this location, you have to either walk or bike about a mile on the paved trail! Love this concept and how it encourages people to get outside and spend some time in nature. It was a beautiful walk and felt like an extra nice treat once we made it to Airship for some coffee. The building itself is an open-air space where there are no windows or doors, it pretty much just consists of 3 walls and a roof. This makes it feel like you're still outside, just in the shade! Plenty of natural light and air comes inside. They do have bathrooms, something I wasn't confident we would find here. They have some fun swings that overlook the trail right outside. Their menu is small but consists of basic drinks, smoothies, pastries, and some small Mexican food bites. They have several flavor syrups to choose from that you can add to your drink. Plus they have some kombucha and local beers if you want an alcoholic beverage! I went with an iced chai which was one of their specials! You order at the counter and then they bring things out to you. We didn't have to wait too long for our order to come out. The iced drink was refreshing on a warm day. The chai flavor was not overpowering like it is from some coffee shops. My sister ordered some pork nachos to share and these were really good as well. I'm always a fan of nachos that have queso instead of just melted shredded cheese. It was fun to hang out in such a unique coffee shop and spend some time out on this trail. You can make your walk even longer if you want since the trail continues on past Airship and the parking lots. I'm glad we swung by to check this place out! read more

Stopped by to get a strawberry matcha with oat milk and it was the best matcha I've had in a while! I ordered through the window on the outside, the barista was the sweetest! Look, my experience was negative from the jump due to factors such as Apple Maps taking us down the bike path as pedestrians and also me having an allergic reaction to the trees... But, let me say this, the coffee was not very good. The Americano was less flavorful/tasty than a Starbucks americano. Also, the small cups, I mean come on. I had to order two americanos! The baristas have to work very hard but the coffee isn't good. Other Airships are much better, generally any other coffee shop in the area is better and without a hike or pretentious cyclists clopping around. read more

Trailside coffee where the vibes are as strong as the coffee. This was on my must-do list when visiting Bentonville and it didn't disappoint. We had one final morning before sitting in the car, staring at rural Missouri for 3 hours, and the sun-drenched hike to Airship was a wonderful way to get some activity in. The walking/bike path winds along a fresh spring, and there are mountain bike setups everywhere. The coffee shop itself is great; I ordered a stellar black coffee, and my kid enjoyed her steamed milk and Lumberjack syrup. We also got some smoothies; they didn't match the online menu we saw, but were described to us as either blueberry or mango. We got one of each and they were good -- real smoothies with fruit, not the premix kind. We set up on the rooftop with a nice view of everyone coming and going, and most importantly in mid-March, a direct line to the warm sun. There was definitely a wait, but on a warm, sunny spring Saturday morning, that's totally expected. Luckily for the antsy kids, there are barns to play in right out front, as well as stepping stones and a creek. This place is so cool! You have to either walk or bike to this location and it's tucked away inside Coler Mountain Bike Preserve. I come here for the enjoyment of walking on the trail to get to it, and to enjoy the views surrounding the coffee shop. There are swings and rooftop seating, and it's cool architecture. My boyfriend and I also enjoyed sitting inside the barn while enjoying our coffee. The prices are pretty steep, but you're paying for the experience and high quality coffee. I would say I still like Onyx coffee more if I'm only comparing coffee, but Airship is still great. They run out of a lot of things by weekend afternoons and the line gets very long. The menu is a laminated paper menu that gets passed along in line, but no menu posted on the wall or easily seen QR code to scan for online menu so if the paper menus are being held by other people, you're kind of just standing in line without being able to figure out what to get. It is also hard to tell what is already sold out for the day, until you get to the register and the employee tells you it's out when you've already decided and stood in line for a long time. The process is just very inefficient and it causes further backups in the line because people spend much longer than necessary at the cash register to figure out what to do if their original order is all out. It also takes a while to get the orders out. They offer food like baked goods, tacos, and nachos, but it's somewhat expensive and pretty low-effort food. They definitely focus on the quality of the coffee and convenience factor of the food. I've heard it's best to stick to the drinks unless you're truly hungry. read more

You could say it's off the beaten path...but it's actually right on the beaten path. Keyword: path. Nestled in the woods surrounding Bentonville is this architectural intrigue. Modus Studio was the local architect Airship partnered with, and I love the concrete open air box they came up with. If you're feeling lazy, questioning the will to walk... get over it. It's worth the trek. As you approach, you may find the same sandwich board I did, advertising their offerings. I wondered what 'beer bikes' meant. But my brother pointed out those were separate things, and we walked up the stairs. Once inside-- erm...outside. Well the whole thing is indoor/outdoor. But once we entered, we saw ample seating, swings, and appreciated the reprieve from the wind. It was seasonal, so not guaranteed, but I had a wintry latte with oat milk and it was good. Not the best, not much coffee flavor to bleed through the milk, but definitely good. We also ordered the chicken nachos...not something I expected to find at a coffee shop. But they were even more impressive than the drinks. We enjoyed conversation and soaking in the extreme presence of nature. Which is as designed, given the lack of public WiFi. Airship created this as a respite from the overly connected world, which was a relaxing feeling, once I got over the fact I couldn't run my usual WiFi speed test. The staff was just as awesome as the nachos, and everyone present around us were simply happy to be there. The feelings were contagious. While the coffee wasn't as earth-shattering as its neighboring Onyx rival-of-sorts, the experience and unique location and design made it well worth our while, a 5-star while. read more

If you visit Bentonville, Coler is one must stop! Whether you hike or ride your bike. Come here and stop by at the airship coffee shop! It's less than a mile from the parking lot and our children ages 13, 10 and 6 definitely enjoyed the walk. Passing by interesting sculptures, river and bridges. The airships coffee place has a small barn with climbing areas as well as great seating for all ages (even swings!). The coffee and tea are solid! Totally love drinking but the best was my oatmeal raisin cookie. It was just warmed up and the outside was crispy but still chewy. It was a perfect snack for a cold and rainy day! After a walk or bike ride (.75 miles from the parking lot, but can be Longer if it is just part of overall day ) you come to this large concrete open air structure and terraced to enjoy great coffee and chai ice or hot drinks (or smoothies if that is more your thing) On your walk you will experience wild flowered, a meandering brook, scurrying salamanders, beautiful cardinals and if lucky a Great Blue Heron. (The one I saw are one of the gecko/salamander !) Great to bring the whole family. One call out to Airship... Nachos...the pork was fantastic. The chips were not good. Edible... But with a coffee as good as yours... go for awesome chips!! But don't let that stop anyone from going. Great experience. read more

While this place was beautiful the experience was spoiled by the service. First, they were out of nearly everything and on the food menu. I assume this is normal because of the location, but in a situation like this you would expect the customer service to be better. Apologetic maybe? Instead I just felt unwelcome by the young male barista. Maybe it's because we had children with? He just seemed completely annoyed with us, not even a smile. It feels so crappy to hike into this spot only to feel like this. My iced latte was watery too, more so than an iced latte is usually. Went today with an a group of 7 people. It was almost $50 worth of coffee orders. It was really busy, which did lead to an almost hour wait. Out of the 7 drinks, only one person actually drank theirs. The other 6 were dumped out and cups disposed before we even got back to the trail. Hands down, the worst coffee drinks I've had in my life, and it was echoed by everyone in the group. In an area with so many coffee stops, I would make this the bottom of the list of places for you to try. read more
