Really? I walked in tonight for first time ever at 7:45pm. Walked directly up to the bar. Looked at the bar tender. She kept watching tv and would not take my order. I kept looking her in the eye and pulled my wallet out and my wife went to the restroom and during the entire time she was in the restroom the bartender Katie just would not greet me or take my order. Early for my next meetup, I found the Taproom and a great spot to sit with my laptop and a beer. Charlie was friendly and happy to find the right beer for me and go figure, it was the day's special. It's hard to go wrong when the beer is not only local, but it's the right style for your taste. I enjoyed a "Soul Shine Kölsch" from Bentonville Brewing. Tasty, crisp, cold and on discount. A few folks came and went through the Taproom while I was here. All were treated friendly by the bartender, all seemed to have a good time. I dipped in here to escape the heat on a Saturday. Chatted with the owner , Charles, most of the time. Very welcoming. The bartender, Maddie, super sweet- good vibes. I've been anxious to write this review because I found an OUTSTANDING place for Yelp nation. If you want to have fun, unwind, and sink a local craft beer, or glass of wine this is the spot. The Bentonville Taproom is now operating under a new name along with a new owner, as of April 2019. I did not meet the owner, but from the sound of it, he empowers his employees and runs a fun place to work. I was initially drawn in by the sidewalk sign, "Beer, Baseball, Food..." I was greeted by Jenna who was working behind the bar and Stephanie who was in patron mode, having the afternoon off from work. Over the course of my two beer conversation, which was about 60 minutes, I became smitten with the whole package. First and foremost, the girls were AWESOME, super friendly and full of good information relating to everything. At one point I engaged in an impromptu singalong with Stephanie, "Love is a burning thing, and it makes a fiery ring, bound by wild desire, I fell in to a ring of fire." Stephanie loves Johnny Cash (&Elvis). For the record, Jenna is a 90's alternative fan, and anything by Nirvana gets her going! The bar hosts a karaoke night, I 'think' on Wednesday. What more can I tell you? They have 12 local beers on tap, including the 'homewrecker IPA' which has a great backstory, just ask Jenna - it's a doozy! They also have 7 different cans of beer, and they pour 4 California wines: pinot noir, chardonnay, cabernet, and a sauvignon blanc. As you look around the bar you will see some cool local art hanging, see my pictures. They feature and sell art by local artists, which I consider a nice touch. For those who like bar games, this is your spot: darts, board games, foosball, a Wii video game console, and a slew of board games. I even saw one of my all-time favorites, Rock'em Sock'em Robots. They have 4 television monitors around the bar, which are always playing sports or music videos. What more could you want? Okay, I'll give you more, they also have a select food menu which they order on the spot from Tusk & Trotter, which is basically next door, and coincidentally one of my favorite places to eat (#WINNING). Great bar right in the bentonville square area. They have some games both table top and Foosball. They featured a great collection of local beers on draft, including wine selections on tap as well. Friendly and knowledgeable bartenders. This is a drink only place, no food. Masks worn and the smell of bleach was prevalent when we first walked it. It faded but good to know it was clean! read more

My friends and I got a local "beer-cation" from Charlie, the owner. We stopped in for a little drink before heading to another activity and it was right up our alley. The place is nothing fancy but we had a good time, drank good local beer, and listened to good music from the 1980's! Came the through town for just one day and needed a place to work for a few hours during mid day. This taproom was ideal. Many local beers on tap - descent prices. Tried almost all via tasters. No point in rating or discussing the beers because they rotate often. Bar tender was very helpful and courteous. Had a nice conversation and she spoke with others as well. read more

I have never been treated worse in my life. Passive aggressive bartenders who reek of body odor. God forbid you want to watch playoff baseball on a single TV. Their response to my request was as follows: "Like... that's really cool and all, but like I don't know the channel so if you can find it on your phone that's the only way I can get it on for you... yeah." After I said the postseason is always on TBS, the dreadlocked bartender said, "I don't know what channel that is so you're going to have to find the number." Then she switched the wrong TV to a random channel, which angered other patrons who were watching an important game. Then, after trying to find it on another TV she gave up, only for her coworker to try finding the channel while condescendingly saying, "who wants to watch the the astros game?" I wasn't even surprised by their demeanor, because this area has a elitist leftist stench about it, so I decided to give up on them entirely, as I watched them put on Lord of the Rings while laughing and saying, "I like that, good one lol!" I chugged my beer, had my wife put her wine in a mug and we left, as the smelly hippie chick passive aggressively said, "Byeeeee. You all have a really nice day."
