*PLEASE AVOID THESE GUYS* If I could give 0 stars I would. I was assigned All American Services as…read morea vendor with 2-10 Home Warranty. for A/C repair. We had a frosted over A/C unit and the unit blowing warm air one morning. I requested an appointment on Friday 8/1 through 2-10, but the earliest appointment All American had was Tuesday 8/5 from 10-4. The first tech (Sean) that came out for a total of 20 minutes, didn't bother to come into the home to look at the furnace, but indicated it was most likely a Freon issue. He added 2lbs of Freon and about 10 minutes later he was done. He didn't check to see if the unit was cooling down appropriately, didn't come in to check for himself, and he didn't follow up with us at all. Needless to say the next morning we noticed the unit again stopped working indicating some sort of leak. On Wednesday, 8/6 I called 2-10 again to issue All American a recall to come back because the initial repair was not made. All American didn't bother to expedite my appointment and didn't appear to be at all concerned that their tech was just there the previous day and did not make the right fix. My next appointment was scheduled for Friday 8/8, two days later. The next tech (Danny) came on Friday and he tested to see where the Freon levels were, and noticed the unit was empty. Danny did another "nitrogen" test, and started packing up to go. I asked him when he would return so I could make sure I was home, and he indicated that the test would take 48-72 hours. I asked him would he come back in 48 hours on Sunday, and he indicated that they don't work on Sunday's. Why would a leak test take 48-72 hours? How would they know where the leak was 3 days later? Really, really obnoxious stuff in the height of the summer. I'm astonished 2-10 works with these guys, they are horrible. I talked to 2-10 about the lack of service and they were also surprised with some of the methods All American uses. Maybe because I had a warranty and they have to work with the warranty company, they are timid to make any repairs, but if that's the case they need to get out of that business model. They really wasted five days of our week for two 15 minute appointments that did nothing. After the second tech left, I called around to other local vendors and had one same day appointment scheduled and two next day appointments scheduled very easily. The company that came on a same day appointment found the leak in the actual A/C unit coils in 15 minutes. You could hear the leak once he put in gas himself. All American sent two techs and neither one of them bothered to look inside the A/C unit. I'm really disappointed with 2-10 and I think I'm going to remove HVAC repairs from my coverage because of this experience. These guys really wasted a whole week of my life with an uncomfortable living situation, and didn't seem at all eager to make things right. Please avoid them at all costs, especially if you are going through a third-party warranty.

I found Reliable online and they had a call out fee of $89, which I know is basically my personal penalty for not knowing anything about plumbing. I set up an appointment for Saturday afternoon, knowing that I would be home. I received a courtesy call from Joe when he was on his way over. Joe was professional, friendly and knowledgeable, and helped me understand the problem. He was in and out of my home in less than 15 minutes, and I kind of learned how to address these types of issues in the future so I am very grateful. Thank you to Joe for making my problems go away quickly. Now I can address them since I was able to learn why my drain was bad, and not keep tossing drain cleaner down and wasting money. I'm noting Reliable for any needs moving forward!

Once doing so, you'll understand the pattern of deceit Steve employs. To replace my main water line and fix a drainage issue in the backyard, Steve gave us an estimate of $4,100. I'm a first-time homeowner of a few months, and I was too trusting & naïve to ask for a written quote. Steve began his con by charging me $1,500 instead of the stated $150 to assess plumbing issues at the house (Steve's response will be that this is a clerical error on his part.) At the completion of the job, the price increased from $4,100 to $10,000. His reasoning for charging us over 100% of the original price: "rock excavation" and "irrigation repair". I employed a licensed, Master Plumber to estimate the cost and specifics of this job. His estimate was $3,400. When I asked the 3rd party plumber about the cost of unforeseen subterranean rock, he quipped that our house "isn't on Stone Mountain", and that amounts of subterranean granite, as well as irrigation lines, should not increase the original estimate because it is a reasonable and obvious part of the plumbing business. Steve advertises himself as a "Licensed and Independent Plumbing & Heating Contractor". I spoke to the Secretary of State's office and they could not find his license. Furthermore, when asked to provide his license ID number... Steve refused. (Steve recently deleted this claim from his website; however I have a dated screenshot of the previous claim should anyone care to see.) On my invoice, Steve asserted that "parts" for the project cost $4,000 (roughly the price of his original estimate). The 3rd party plumber assured us that the parts for this job couldn't have cost any more than $400. After all the work was done, our irrigation system didn't work. The irrigation service we employed deduced that Steve's sub-contractors had not fixed the irrigation system that Steve charged us over $2,800 to fix. Furthermore, Steve refused to pay the $550 for the irrigation errors that his team caused. At the end of the day, it was my fault to trust Steve Malone. I signed the invoice and payed him... unaware that I was being taken advantage of, and that this plumbing job should have cost a fraction of what we were charged. My goal in writing this review is to make sure that no one else makes the mistake of trusting this man.
