Our pilot was a college age guy earning his stripes to fly the big boys - and so he was young and enthusiastic. We flew directly over the canyon for thirty miles or so, over to and around Monuments for about an hour, over Lake Powell for about 45 minutes. We then stopped at Page Airport at Lake Powell for about 20 minutes for fuel and a break. Then it was back over the Canyon for another 1/2 hour on the way home. The canyon was incredible from above, and just when we were totally awed we flew to Monuments for an amazing view of the spires, necks and mesas rising out of the desert. Then Lake Powell - which if you have never seen I very highly recommend. The lake is made from damming the upper canyons and so is a network of deep blue fingers twisting and turning across a hundred square miles of desert. Wow - what a great show. I had no idea what we were in for. There were four of us and the pilot, so it was very personalized. The canyon can be very windy, so for us we had a number of E-Ticket type drops and bumps. At one point we all hit our heads on the roof of the plane. So, it's not for the squeamish - but if you are up for a truly unique experience then give them a try.

I booked a scenic transfer from the Grand Canyon airport to Vegas and had an amazing experience, even though the odds were stacked against us with high winds, a wildfire spreading nearby, and a complete power outage across Grand Canyon Village and Tusayan. Sam and the admin team based in GCN treated me so incredibly kindly and got me safely to my destination despite the unprecedented conditions. Nothing short of heroic! Contradictory to the contract that Eugene drew up, and to the payment that we made (which had its' own complications, twice), 4 of my guests over heard the driver mention that she would be making 1 trip back at 9:30. My wedding went until 10:30 and the last drop off time was contractually set for 11:00. My husband and I, unaware of this, were shocked to see half of my wedding leave over an hour early and many people who had planned to take the bus home and were not expecting to leave so abruptly. This literally ruined 2 special things that we had set up with our God Parents who had to get on the bus at 9:30, our bubble exit, and our group picture. After a wedding, where people were celebrating with libations, the thought of half of my guests having to drive home or find a way home at 10:30 at night was a stress that was caused because Flagstaff Limousine went against our contract without notifying me, my husband, or anyone other than 4 guests who happened to over hear this on the bus ride there. When the man that answered the phone didn't bat an eye about my location, and told me it would be at least fifteen minutes, I was SO grateful! My ride showed up in about 20. ( no complaints, traffic is stupid in Sedona) and was Covid compliant and friendly. What more could I ask! Five stars to the knight in a black SUV that rescued me! One warning, they do take only cash, which I was informed of up front from the dispatcher. Thankfully I had the green to engage their services.

My hotel was in Oak Creek Village and most of the places that I wanted to go to were in Sedona, so I relied on them a lot. They are great! The drivers are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They pointed out landmarks and told me a lot about Sedona and the red rock formations. Bobs Sedona Taxi also offer tours, I didn't do any of them because all of my days were pretty booked up and I had already scheduled two other tours. Based on the drivers that I met, I imagine that their tours are good. They recommended some good restaurants for me to try, which I appreciated. The cabs are very clean. They are very prompt for pre-scheduled pick ups. They are also pretty quick when called for immediate pick ups. I am mobility impaired and a couple of times I had to call them to go just a few blocks, they were great and gave me really good rates. I don't know how they compare to other Sedona taxi services because I only used Bobs. I originally chose them because of their name "Bobs" (a really old joke between me and some friends), but I continued using them because they are great.
