He tricked us with the normal appointment model (time and materials), then billed me at an insane flat-rate. If he only does flat-rates, then he MUST tell people that before making the appointment. How deceptive. I would never have agreed to hire him for $295 for ten minutes in my house (half of which was using the toilet!) to replace a single compressor capacitor, FIVE minutes of work, $35 part. He has the 24hr promise to lure people into calling him, $115 appointment fee, then tries to spring a flat rate on you after he shows up and you are into him for $115, are you kidding? This is bait and switch. To make matters worse, I've had several messages back and forth to him and he is indignantly ignoring my claim about his bait and switch. I wish I had read all his reviews on Angs' List, as I now see he is ethically challenged.
