This amazing husband and wife team drywalled our newly renovated bathroom. They showed up on time, were very respectful of our house making sure to put down protection on the floor and they were constantly cleaning up behind themselves (I'm pretty sure my house is cleaner after they left than before they got here!) Adrian, his dad and Lupe did an amazing job! We have a 40+ year hold home with walls that have had a hodgepodge of different textures, especially in the bedrooms. We have hired Adiane to retexture and repaint 3 of our bedrooms and the hallway, as well as finish out a small closet over an old air return. We asked if Adrian could break up the project due to our schedule and he has been more than accommodating! I was convinced I knew I wanted knock down texture throughout the house, but Adrian helped me realize that if we do that we'll be back in the same position of having a hodgepodge of textures again in another 10-20 years so we went with his recommendation of semi smooth with a few "cat-eyes" as he called it. Boy am I glad we did!! It looks great!! Adrian and his dad came in on day one and laid paper on our floors from the front door to the back of the house where they'd be working, covered the flooring of the bedrooms and beds with plastic, and then began texturing the walls. Day two Adrian came back and worked on texturing. Day three he brought Lupe in to do the painting, she did an amazing job blending the paint on the ceiling of one off the bedrooms where Adrian closed up an old air supply hole. It's always questionable if old paint and new paint would blend! You can't even tell that the old hole was ever there. We did have them paint the trim, which we originally weren't going to do, but Lupe pointed out that with the fresh new paint it will make the room pop and look finished. Very glad we did that...looks super sharp! Day four was more painting. Day five was the final day of painting. I was wrong on the ceiling paint in the other bedroom and so we had them repaint the entire ceiling in that room. The goal is to have the entire house have the same ceiling paint and since the room was prepped for painting it made sense to add that to the job! Toward the end of day five Adrian returned to help clean up and talk about the next part of the project. Again, he's accommodating our crazy schedule. I have no doubt that the additional work Adrian and his crew do will be amazing as well!! I've added pictures, but it's hard to get good pictures that represent the quality of the texture that was done. We will be calling Adrian back to help retexture and paint the rest of the house and other odd jobs we may have as well. read more

I have to say communication is sometimes very poor. I have previously used Adrian twice. Great work no problems what so ever. As You can see from the reviews below. Then I asked for his help with one more project but he deferred me for some reason and kept telling me he is busy and that he will reach out to me etc. I waited for so long because i truly appreciated working with him. Then i reached out again after waiting for 2-3 weeks per his request and thats when i was told sorry but this job is better for someone else. I used Jose, AJ's father of the team, in the past to install my backdoor which he added a window. Also did some electrical work for me. He had done a great job and I was really happy with his work that I recommended him to others. I followed up a few months later for some other home projects of installing a bathroom ventilation fan and outdoor outlet. We corresponded and set a date for him to come out to do projects and I got all the parts ahead of time. He never showed or responded to my follow up messages. I had taken the day off to be home and he left me high and dry. I don't know what changed, but the communication was terrible this time around and I can't say that I would recommend him. Contacted AJ drywall to see if he can fix my daughter's door due to a fire department emergency. Initial times did not coordinate conveniently for both sides. However, we managed to schedule, Wednesday at 12 PM, but I was not given the opportunity to speak about his service quality or value because 35 minutes after our appointment, he texted and said he was not coming due to car problems. I am not terribly disappointed about the lack of courtesy because I had a back up business who came later that same day to resolve the door problem. read more
