I honestly don't know if they're inexperienced or just have never worked with a Black woman's curves before, but not one, not two, but three of my dresses were completely botched. I also had a top altered and it came back lopsided. After the first round of alterations, the owner tried to gaslight me, saying they had only adjusted the strap for my burgundy dress (which was never the main issue). I initially asked for the sides to be taken in because the bust area was too big, but somehow, that got lost in translation. So I paid AGAIN, for all to be fixed and what I got back was even worse. Everything felt rushed, uneven, and downright sloppy. I bawled my eyes out because these dresses were meant for my birthday trip. The white dress? It was the most horrendous one, imagine the outline of Sarah Baartman on a modern-day garment. That's how distorted the shape was. Even after a third attempt, the seams were still crooked and the dress was unwearable. I'm now left dressless for my trip and out of money. If I could give this place zero stars, I would.

My dress was entirely beaded so it definitely needed a gentle and skilled hand which Anna's alterations has! In total it ran me about $280 - I am unsure how this compares to other places but I wasn't going to risk mistakes for such an important dress. When I stopped in, I was told they don't do that. I should have taken my dry cleaner elsewhere but wanted to support a local business. This all started October 17th when I dropped off a silk Kate Spade blouse. A week or so later I went to pick it up and none of my items were ready, even though my receipt stated they would be by October 21st. The woman at the counter mentioned they were in the bags but hadn't yet been unpacked. I went back the following week and was told the blouse needed some extra attention. No one ever contacted me, I went back a third time to be told it was lost. I had to keep calling for any updates complete with the owner demanding to see a receipt, when I purchased it, etc. In the end, my $200 shirt was reimbursed *$40* because the owner felt it had depreciated in value. It was practically brand new since it was kept in storage (I recently lost weight to fit into it again). This is the most horrendous customer service I have ever experienced and cannot warn you enough to bring your dry cleaning to any other establishment.

He was really busy as the pandemic was easing up and people were getting all of their postponed events in that summer, but Tony pulled through. He could not let me walk out of his shop knowing that I would be going to a wedding with pants that were too long. Not only did he finishing hemming the pants the next day, he also hemmed my suit jacket that for all eternity had been too long in the sleeve.
