Tony is the best! I was in a real pinch realizing no more than 3 days before a wedding that my go-to suit no longer fit. I went to Tony asking if he could hem my 2nd suit pants. He was really busy as the pandemic was easing up and people were getting all of their postponed events in that summer, but Tony pulled through. He could not let me walk out of his shop knowing that I would be going to a wedding with pants that were too long. Not only did he finishing hemming the pants the next day, he also hemmed my suit jacket that for all eternity had been too long in the sleeve. Finally, I have a suit that fits me correctly, I should have gone to Tony a long time ago. He's reasonably priced, honest, and does great work. Thanks Tony!! read more

I wish I could give them 10 STARS!! What Tony did for us will never be forgotten. After having left my husband's jacket and pants for my daughter's wedding (on Aug 14th) with a different tailor around July 12th, I received a phone call on Aug 9th around 6:30pm from that tailors wife to let me know her husband had contracted Covid19 and had passed away on Saturday Aug 10th. He had not yet touched the jacket or pants. VERY SAD and I offered my sincere condolences. She offered to meet me the next day at 3pm so we could pick up the clothes. That would give me 4 days to find someone else AND less than 4 days for that person to get the job done! I was referred to Mr & Mrs K in Somerset, MA by a long time friend. I called Tony first thing Tuesday morning, told him our situation and, even though Mr & Mrs K are extremely busy this year, Tony told me to get the suit and my husband to him ASAP and he would help us. We arrived there around 3:20 on Tuesday and Tony was kind and honest. He knew my daughter was getting married on Saturday and could not promise he would be able to get both the jacket & pants done in time BUT HE WAS GOING TO TRY. He seemed sincere and I put my faith in him. Needless to say, when I got a call from Tony the very next day at 4:30 to let me know he had everything ready to be picked up on Thursday morning, I cried...... We went there and the jacket and pants were PERFECTLY DONE!!! THIS is the kind of business that deserves 10 stars out of 5. Was in a wedding party of a close friend of who went here for his wedding suits, and now I wear that suit all the time to weddings and interviews, tailored awesome. Chose to come here for my wedding, and they were able to set us up in 11 tux's, able to get different color vests for the fathers, and even had a dress tailored too. Price was extremely competitive, the bonus is owning a tailored tux vs a one time rental, which doesn't look anywhere as sharp. Went in to have some buttons put back on a peacoat, and let me tell you I have found a gold mine. If you need anything tailored, if you need a new suit or jacket, shirt or pants you have GOT to go here. It is a family run business, Tony and Mary are brother and sister and couldn't seem more eager to help with anything that is needed. I went in for buttons, ended up getting the jacket taken in a bit and now it fits better than ever. And let me say it is a very old and expensive jacket and Tony took immaculate care of it. I ended up then buying two suits, shoes, and ties because of how impressed I was with the business, the service, and the attitude of the people there. They did a great job sewing my husband's varsity letter to his bulky wool jacket from high school. Used two different color threads (inside and out) so it would look polished. Completed work on time and for $15. I'm only giving 4 stars because the task was small/not complex. I'll definitely give them a shot again. Shop is surprisingly well-appointed inside. read more

This is the only place I will go to have clothes tailored. Mary does a fantastic job, and has tailored several of my work dresses, suits, and gowns to perfection. Not happy with this place at all. He said he would call me the next week when the pants I wanted hemmed were all set..that never happened. I called again 2 weeks after (I went on vacation) and he said they would be done the following Tuesday. So right there it was over 2 weeks without a phone call saying they were done and even when I called him they still didn't hem them! So I actually called on that Thursday (they were suppose to be done Tuesday, 2 days prior) and he made up some bogus excuse saying the sewing machine broke and that's why they weren't done. So I told him he said they would be done Tuesday and he made up more excuses. He called me back an hour later apologizing and telling me to come in to get the pants and they were going to fix them right now. When I finally came to pick up the pants he said he was sick and that's why it took so long..bunch of excuses and very unprofessional. I do not recommend bringing anything here to be altered unless you want it done it 3 months. read more
