Eventually, I went in person, and suddenly the results were available and the prescription was sent to the pharmacy. Unfortunately, I had to go through my symptoms for over 9 days longer than necessary, which was very frustrating. Dr. Bodon herself is great, but better communication, follow-up, and urgency from the front desk and assistants would make a big difference in the overall patient experience.

According to the receptionist, my appointment was scheduled for 10:30 a.m., not 9:30 a.m., and nothing had changed. I arrived at the office at 10:25 a.m., only to be told by the receptionist that my 9:30 a.m. appointment had been missed, resulting in a $50 no-show fee. I explained that I'd spoken to someone who said the appointment was at 10:30 a.m. However, since there were no notes or changes in my file, and I couldn't recall the person's name, it was still considered a no-show. They offer a $25 discount as a first-time courtesy. I insisted it wasn't my error, explaining that someone from their office had given me a 10:30 time. Why am I being penalized for your error? Despite presenting my call log, they insisted on payment. I'm certain the girl who answered the phone was listening to our entire conversation and lacked the courage to admit her mistake. Mistakes happen, that's fine, but expecting me to cover the costs was unreasonable. I informed them that I was not rescheduling my appointment and that I would not be returning or paying the fee.

Dr. Haddad was nice, but he ignored many of my comments about the timing of my cycle and took 19 vials of blood from me at once. Many staff members overlooked my concerns, and I did not feel compassion from them for my past miscarriages. I moved back to California after this and had to call a few times to get medication refilled. The process was difficult, and my medication was sent to the wrong pharmacy without my knowledge or any note in my chart for me to check the location. This medication was time-sensitive and necessary for me to keep my pregnancy viable, so the lack of urgency was very disappointing.

She is the best (Dr. Embree). They have a financial plan for uninsured people that worked well for us and the staff here is all sympathetic and caring. I wouldn't recommend any other place. To me, the doctor who stands by your side minth after month is the most important part of a pregnancy and I struck gold with her. If you're in Yuma a d expecting, please check this place out. Yes, they're mostly midwives, but their credentials are amazing (check out the website).
