Went here on a whim and now we have a favorite sushi restaurant Lunch Mon-Sat is $15.99 from 11-3 Order off the paper menu, push the call button and someone picks up your order - wait a bit and a robot rolls up with your sushi! We enjoyed tempura veggies, miso soup, crab Rangoon and a variety of rolls and nigiri this first trip. The space is happy and well-lit, not too loud on a Friday over lunch.

Great spot if you are looking for an all you can eat vibe, but as with most all you can eat places in my opinion, it's quantity over quality. Still, it's super fun for kids, including the delivery robot and a lot of the food is really good and probably above average for all you can eat spot.

in my opinion, this is now the best or you can eat sushi restaurant omaha. The menu is so varied and expansive, it's hard to compare to any other place.

I recently went to Ajisai with my husband. We had a great time! We were able to be seated right away. The logistics are easy to maneuver, you get a list of all of the food for order and you just mark the quantity that you want of each desired item. Then, as your items are ready, they come out. Sometimes it is the waitstaff that brings it out--other times, it is a cute little robot that plays music. There are two screens that both play different captivating videos. One has beautiful landscapes. The other was a food show showing tons of delicious food being prepared. We order a lot of food and felt like it was a really good value. The staff members were all really nice and the food was yummy. We will definitely go back!

I walked in around 2:40 and was sat instantly. They explained to me how the menu works and I promptly got to looking. The ambiance is pretty cozy though. Some hanging decor and all. You get 3 rounds of food with all you can eat. They are able to charge you for any food that you do not eat. I got some sushi (Crunchy spicy crab roll and shrimp tempura roll) and they were alright. I personally am not too much of a sushi person so I couldn't finish them. On top of that, I tried gyoza (primarily crunchy, a little sweet and I added soy sauce to the given sauce to make it more to my preference) Hibachi steak fried rice (unfortunately I did not like this one. It tasted like some smokey dirt... if that makes sense. It might just be me though. I just wouldn't recommend this personally) Chicken Teriyaki (sauce was very lightly colored, not fully coated, you can tell this is just made for all you can eat portions, however I did enjoy this more than the hibachi steak fried rice and sushi) They charge for to-go boxes. I figured it'd probably be cheaper if I got a to-go box and took leftovers rather than potentially be charged for wasted food. Finished with some ice cream. Just a little cup, but nothing's wrong with that. The total was 24 dollars about after a tip. Not too bad for the price at all. Quick service.

One of my new fav Japanese spots in Omaha. The food is AYCE and the quality is pretty good. I feel like when it is AYCE sushi, sometimes the quality is not the best but that's not the case here. Service is great as well! They have so many items in their menu that even a non sushi or non seafood eater would be satisfied. They have udon, chicken karaage, tempura, yakitori, tofu, etc. My kids love that the robots bring you their food. They even have the call buttons at the tables. This is the first restaurant in Omaha I have seen have those buttons since moving from Los Angeles. In LA, all the restaurants in Koreatown have it. You push it and the sever comes immediately! I was also very pleasantly surprised by the price, def waaay cheaper than some of the other AYCE sushi places around.

First time here, the appetizers had amazing flavor. The flavor was spot on, not over powering but so good. The all you can eat aspect of it is wonderful. You can get appetizers sushi, shashimi, hibachi and so much more for the price. The drinks were also perfect!! You get so much for a great price!!

Was so excited for the Omaha Sushi Project to take on Ajisai Sushi!! They offer an al a carte menu and an all-you-can-eat menu, both with hibachi and sushi options. The AYCE menu was LARGE!!! They had special and standard roles and a bunch of appetizer options! You can really get bang for your buck with this option! We had a couple different apps including miso soup, Kani salad, gyoza, and tempura zucchini. All were pretty basic, but gyoza was pretty amazing. We also got a good mixture of rolls including a hand roll which is fun! Yam tempura roll was so good! Most rolls needed a little more fish in them but it was so fun to pick everything! The wait staff was incredibly nice and continuously checked on us and we had a special waiter, a robot! They had robots bringing by more food and drinks which was so fun! Can't wait to come back! Follow us at the Omaha Sushi Project collection! Presentation: 2/5 Crunch: 1/5 Taste: 3/5 Variety of menu: 4/5 Price: $

This place is absolutely worth it! I have gone to a few all you can eat places, and this is my favorite so far. We tried several sashimi's, and most of the 'fancy' rolls with more ingredients. Our favorites were the red dragon roll, Mexican roll, and hoppin jalapeño roll. My personal favorite item of the night was the tuna pizza! This is a lightly fried and crispy rice crust, topped with spicy tuna. It was served piping hot and tasted amazing! We came around 6 and the place was empty. Our food was SO fresh, and didn't take too long. I will say, I think the freshness decreased through the night for some reason--our last plate had sashimi that wasn't as fresh, and rolls that weren't as tasty. My only other negative through the night was the lack of sauce. I love a TON of sauce and there was hardly any on any roll or item. However, if you ask they will bring you some! I ended up with 3 sides of eel sauce through the night--I wish I had known I could get this from the beginning! The service is minimal but good, they have at least 3 robots that we counted bringing items out to tables, which was a fun experience. 2 robots collided at one point, resulting in one dish on the floor, but this was more humorous than anything! Overall I will definitely recommend this place, and come back. I will however, make a point to come in early for fresher fish, and to ask for extra sides of sauce from the beginning!

    Udon seafood soup
    Lannae L.

This is a brand new restaurant of all you can eat Japanese food. There are cooked appetizers, salad, soup, sushi and sashimi. There are vegan and gluten free options. The dishes are made to order, so the tempura is fresh, crispy and delicious. The sushi and sashimi are made to order, but comes out quickly. . The dinner time AYCE is currently $25. It is truly all I could eat. I really liked the udon soup, simple salad with ginger dressing, and the sashimi. I liked the tempura sweet potato. I think this was a great value. . There is a free parking lot outside and it seems to be ample parking for as many people who want to eat here. . I am definitely going back again!

Hi does anyone know how much they charge for kids? Thanks in advance! :)

I don't believe they have one. They have the all-you-can-eat menu and the regular menu where you can order entrees or sushi combos, but I did not see a kids section. I will say this, the all-you-can-eat menu worked out well for my daughter because…

They have lots of ramen options on the menu, all customizable spice level and the option to add extra ingredients. There was a little wait time, but it was a Friday night around 7pm, so not surprising. The service was awesome! Our server answered all our questions and was quick with orders and refills on drinks. We started with Thai Tea and it was delicious! I love boba and the sweetness of the tea was a perfect combination with the pearls. For my main entree I had the Spicy Hokkaido spice level 3 and it was perfect! I wanted spicy, but not so hot I was hurting. 3 was great for me. They use chili oil, gochujang, and habanero for level 3 so it packs a punch! The overall flavor was delicious with a spicy finish to each bite, especially the broth. We ended with a complementary fried oreo which was as awesome as it sounds. The vibe in Hokkaido is very nostalgic with throwback tunes on the radio and lots of cartoon & anime characters incorporated in the decor. It's a really fun spot and we will definitely be back soon!

Since our full party was already there, we were seated right away. Our waitress, Kim, explained everything thoroughly and was attentive throughout the entire night. Our chef, Alex, was phenomenal. He made our children feel included and entertained the whole time. He was very friendly and kept the excitement going throughout dinner. I had the filet mignon, and it was delicious. A few things to know before you go: reservations are required and the process is a little more involved than usual since you fill out a form and wait to hear back, so plan ahead. Also, since they seat a full table at a time, your actual seating may be a bit later than your reservation time. Worth checking their website, Facebook, or Instagram before you go too as they occasionally post coupons. Just make sure to mention it to your server before they ring you up. For food, the salmon and shrimp were the highlights for us. Shrimp comes as a starter for the table, but I ordered extra as part of my combo and it was worth it. The steak was fine, but not the standout in steakhouse country. Fried rice is an extra $4, which is reasonable given how good it is. Kids meals at $12 are a solid deal since they come with soup, salad, and rice. The spicy mustard dipping sauce and their spiciest sauce were both great. Our cook was friendly and engaging without overdoing it, which is the right call for teppanyaki. Prices were fair overall and the location is a bonus since Fat Brain Toys is right next door if you want to browse before or after with kids.
