Neat idea but I've been to cooler sushi train restaurants with more variety on the actual train. However, the service was great and the food was really good! Their crunch rolls are a must! I also love that they have a big menu other than the stuff on the train. Like hibachi items. Overall fun and a good price but I wish they put out more variety on the train more often.

This was our 4 Th visit to Sakai sushi. I ordered tempura w sashimi box. Sashimi was fresh and tasty. But tempura was over cooked and server said no tempura sauce .they don't know why but not ordering that they said. Sakai sushi is fun place I like to go with friend and family. I hope their food will improve least tasty as before.

The sushi train was a nice casual lunch. It is unique and has great food! You can also order from a large menu if sushi isn't your thing. Train sushi is priced by the color of the plate. All are reasonably priced for sushi. The jalapeño popper sushi was easily our favorite. Now that I am talking about it, I want to go back now just for that!

Everything was good! Some food was fresh and some definitely needed to be pulled from the train line. I'd recommend having someone dedicated to pulling the food that had sit for longer then an hour, also doesn't seem super safe with fish just sitting out! But the whole concept is super fun, watch the sushi go around the train and pull what you want. Prices are in tie with the color of plates. Server was good, always was refilling our drinks and asking if we wanted any additional sushi that wasn't coming out on the train. Place was clean enough!

Service was fine, but this restaurant was below average in regards to quality and flavor. Food was bland and boring. My fiance who loves ramen was very disappointed in the broth flavoring and soggy tempura shrimp. Also, the ramen mentioned bok choy, but only had a blade of grass's worth. There are plenty of other local options with higher quality food.

The food was fresh and delicious. My son loved the baby octopus seaweed salad along with the shrimp dumplings. The ebi (shrimp) was great- my favorite. They have a great selection. Waitress was great. No problems and she was very helpful as it was our first time eating here.

A fun way to eat sushi! Various seating options including regular tables and seats at the sushi conveyor belt. Really appreciate that the conveyor belt has a sliding door in front of each person to protect from the environment. Menu has a great selection and you can order full size rolls as well and other foods that come delivered on a sushi train!

Our favorite place to stop when visiting Omaha. Love the Fire Island roll and the Cornhusker. The service is always great as well.

Great service, the sushi train is a cool concept where you can sit down and start eating. Ton of variety and the atmosphere was nice.

Was filling, tasted good too. A heads up for you all: if you tell them it's your birthday, YOU ARE GOING TO BE CHARGED. Since when do restaurants charge when you tell them it's your birthday? You always get a free little dessert or drink or something, but not here, and they do not tell you that you are going to be charged. So, you know, happy birthday! Now pay for the dessert!

No problem so they showed us to the bar to wait until our table was open. By 7:30 we still hadn't been called so I went and spoke to the hostess who said they were just cleaning off our table and it would be a few minutes until we sat down. Our names were never called, people who walked in after us got seated. Until I spoke to a more 'senior' hostess who claimed he called our name 3 times and the cancelled our reservation because we 'never came' but I was standing by the hostess stand from 7:30pm on. After a very direct conversation we were finally sat down at 8:06pm. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the food was actually good and our server did everything he could to make up for our experience. Our food was good but not worth the 3 hour wait. We will not be coming back due to the service. They have a lot of kinks to figure out and it seems like it comes down to your reservation system. When making a reservation you expect to be sat within a reasonable timeframe. I understand training new people but highly recommend you figure out how to get a better hostess/front of restaurant staff because that's where all of your hiccups were.

We tried 3 signature rolls and had some much fun with them! The volcano roll had the most amazing sauce on top mixed with Kani and cucumber! And the mango tango roll was so beautiful I was afraid to eat it. I got some extra eel sauce for some side dipping because I can't not have it and it was so good!! We definitely grabbed some of the best rolls, but might not be the place if you don't like cream cheese because it's in almost every roll. The place was very quiet and needs more love (and some music), but I will definitely be back! Great place to finish up the Lavista/Papillion sushi spots. Grabbed the California Roll (cause it's safe, duh) and a Hutoang Roll to split. Both very good! Pile on the wasabi and GINGERRRR, some low sodium soy sauce, practice with the sticks a lil, and toss it back fast!
