I live around the corner from here, and I've gone in several times. I was once a regular, but the service is too wishy, washy. Some of the staff is friendly, some aren't. This is why i stopped frequenting here. They get packed in the evenings and weekends, too. Now, I only go in for emergency repairs. I had been having a tough day and needed some me-time.. of course it happened to be Friday and I hadn't set an appointment anywhere so I called a few different nail salons and Ajita was the only one who offered a walk-in service for a pedi. They did inform me I might have to wait a bit but I was fine with it and drove on over. It's a cute looking place inside and out. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. I waited about 10-15min in the waiting area and was then called back to a pedi chair. I probably waited another half hour before someone was available for me but I didn't mind because I was soaking my feet and enjoying the massage chair in the meantime. At the start it wasn't bad, I had 3 other people in my party doing pedicures and manicures. So we went to get the pedicure first and it was just like a normal pedicure. I wanted cat eye for my gel x and when she gave me the colors they had, it said it was $10 PER FINGER. I was mind blown. So then I just chose another color. The process was kind of messy and I got cut 3 times. I had chosen a somewhat weird design now that I think of it but she did not do it the way I wanted. And when I asked for her to do the design I wanted, she said it would be an extra $30. It was 3 tiny simple 5 leaf flowers. The vibe was also not it. She seemed pretty mad and would just talk in another language with her coworkers THE WHOLE TIME. I didn't know what they were saying but it felt like she was talking bad about me. I honestly will never know though. This was my first time getting my nails done so this may be normal but I feel like this prices are a bit insane, especially the cat eye prices. At the end, the nails were kind of messy on the edges but I just paid and left. Would not come back. read more

Paid $80 for an acrylic fill. $90 with tip. 4 days later 3 nails chipped off (my natural nails were fine as the acrylic was just too thin) when I went in to get them fixed I was charged $10 since they have a 3 day repair policy?!? Everything from the interior design to the welcoming atmosphere is superb. Located in North Aurora right across the street from Woodlands, this nail spa is incredible. If you decide to give this place a try I suggest Sue. She's very talented and personable. I enjoy this place so much that I take the 30 minute drive from Naperville to get my services done here. Also the interior design of this spa is stunning, it feels like you're at a high end salon (and you certainly get treated like such, minus the champagne haha). The prices are fairly reasonable, it all depends on your budget. Basic pedicures start at $30, calf message with warm lavender lotion and a hot towel is included. I also paid $40 for a fill-in all together roughly $70. Social distancing is also enforced, everything is sanitized, mask are required, and your temperature is taken at the door. Just a really lovely and relaxing atmosphere to get your nails done. I definitely recommend! read more

I got my nails done on Tuesday night, and I absolutely love them! It was my first time getting my nails done since covid started and I was a little nervous due to the fact you have to be closer than 6 feet to someone to get your nails done, but this location had all the precautions in place! There was self check in, everyone was masked and plastic dividers between you and your nail tech as well as being spaced out from other customers. My nail tech was so funny and sweet, and she obviously took pride in her work. I was impressed with her attention to detail, she made everything was even and the nail was fully polished. SUPER PAINFUL - the place is really nice and quiet and they do it quickly but man my nails hurt so badly. i was doing acrylic which costs $50. When he started to drill I told the person that it hurts when he would still continue pushing into the cuticles. SO PAINFUL!! and it started to bleed, my nails still hurt even when I touch it, i don't know if it was just the person I got or whether it was the drill but now my finger are filled with scabs. read more

Made an appointment for 6pm and when we walked walked in they told us they were closed even though we had booked the appointment the day before... don't listen to their costumers very well apparently. Worker was rude and told us everyone had left so we had to go even though we had the appointment. Only giving a one star because i can't give a zero. very dissatisfied with this business well if u don't know who "took my appointment" that's your fault. That is quite literally your job to give costumers the correct time no matter where it is posted. And i understand they work hard hours, no one asked for them to stay later (for a mistake you made btw) However, even with the misunderstanding he could have helped us rebook our appointment and apologize considering this is in the business and not the paying costumers. First things first, this place is gorgeous!! Super soft relaxing music too and options for a beverage. Then my pedicure was so good! Great leg massage with hot lotion and the hot towels Lastly, I love going to a place who explains the best way they do whatever it is I in order to give me ttye manicure I'm looking for. Ex: I went in today with my nails super long and I wanted an ombré look. I originally wanted my nails to be clipped down since I'm typing at work all the time. Well the wonderful woman explain to me that it won't look as good with the blending and short nails as it would with my nails the link they already were which I love because I didn't know that so I went with what she said. My daughter and I had appointments today to celebrate her birthday. We were taken in and seated right after signing in and answering a few questions on the computer screen. The place is beautiful and very clean. My daughter had a high-end pedicure complete with hot stones, scented foot scrub, and lotion massage. She had her toenails trimmed and polished and it came with a hand hot wax treatment and hand massage. I had a fill in on my acrylic nails. We were both very happy with the service, the ambiance, and how careful they were with very few appointments at the same time and plexiglass in between stations. We will go back again! I recently moved to the North Aurora area and I was instantly surprised by how much I not only liked the services offered and pricing at Ajita, but how quickly the staff became familiar with me! They are friendly and conversational. The pricing here is fair and they give one of the better pedicures I've had in the area. The atmosphere is calming and they are very clean. It's decorated nothing like your average salon. There are about 18 manicure stations and around 12 pedicure stations with 3 different areas for pedicures.
