I came here for a birthday celebration and was shocked when my gel manicure still hadn't lifted or peeled after 2.5 weeks. So I decided to come back, and once again I am on day 17 and no lifting, no peeling. At other places I can't even get 10 days without that happening. Attitude and atmosphere is only so-so. The manager (owner?) responds to customers' questions by walking away muttering in her native language in a deeply rude and snarky tone. I turned on my translation app, and yep, she was. I visited the salon on 3 occasions and observed it every time. Nail techs were polite, but on last visit polish chipped and showed sign of wear in under a week. I am polite, respectful and tip well, and definitely won't be back here. read more

I wish they had only one person handling the people coming in and only one person taking the payments because it makes me extremely nervous that as soon as a customer comes in all the nail tech turn get destructed and can nip the hell of the toes or hand cuticles. I am still recovering from a nip on my thumb from so long ago from across the street. On on the plus side the manicure itself was nice when it was finally completed. I had to wait 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment time to get my manicure started and in total it took an hour and 15 minutes to do. For much of the time I was waiting I was just sitting at the chair with nobody talking to me. Nobody telling me when my manicure would get started and the nail polish removal person put the wrong chemicals on my fingernails and then told me that I had asked for a type of manicure that I had not asked for. Honestly after the long wait I would have agreed to any type of manicure but it didn't look like it was going to happen. At a certain point I just went and asked the owner if I should go somewhere else or just leave because after 45 minutes I was still sitting with my polish scraped off but no one working with me. They seemed very disorganized, and like they didn't know who was supposed to be doing what. The girl who is in charge of removing polish seems very confused and the people at this nail shop weren't friendly and welcoming at all. I was in town really briefly for my mom's funeral who died only a week ago. Today was the day before Mother's Day and an extremely sad day for me so it would've been nice to have a nice calm, comfortable manicure as a moment of Grace from the Universe but sadly I was disappointed. Went to Cici's with my mom and sister for my birthday. We all got the basic pedicure and loved it! The staff was super friendly and prepared for us when we got there. The space was clean and inviting. I also appreciated that they asked us again what services we wanted- I never like hidden fees or services. First time using this salon as the last one went downhill with the new owners. I use dip. In a couple of days, the 4 fingers with designs started peeling. In less than a week, one of the designs peeled completely off. The other nails have "solid" colors that are not very well done. When filing them down to make them smooth they went too far, and the color is patchy and some of the nails aren't smooth. The staff seemed friendly but I'm not happy at all with the quality of the work. They may always do this poor of a job, or they were just in a rush to get me out as I was there until after they closed. Either way, if they didn't want to stay late, they should've told me to arrive at a different time. I will not be returning to this salon. read more

This place is following all the CDC guild lines in response to COVID and did a great job on my nails (men's mani pedi) staff was all kind and courteous, and the prices were in-line with other salons I've been to, I will probably go back. I'm so happy to have found Cici Nails! With a perfectly visible location right off of route 38 in Geneva - right next to Buttermilk - I noticed this salon just while driving through downtown Geneva. I immediately looked it up on yelp and saw it was brand-new and knew I had to give it a chance! I am so glad I did and I've since been back at least four or five times. The salon not only is extremely clean and sanitary, but offers a beautiful and modern atmosphere complete with nice furniture and comfy pedicure chairs. They have serene music playing and the ambiance is lovely! I've had multiple no-chip manicures and pedicures here and every time the service is spectacular. They have TONS of colors to pick from and once even went and found a no chip color for me in the back when I mentioned what kind of color I was looking for! The service here is really over the top wonderful. On of my favorite things about visiting this salon is getting to chat with Cassie! I didn't know Cassie before I came to Cici Nails but luckily she did my manicure the first time I stopped in and I've requested her each time since. She does an awesome job on my nails and is super enjoyable to spend the hour with! No stars. None. I went to get a pedicure and no chip manicure. The lady cut my toenails too short and filed them straight across like a straightedge. I hated it. Not tripping tho. I told her I didn't like it. She painted them with the red I chose at first. Red polish would have been cute if my toes didn't now look like the Flinstones. I noticed the lady next to her was helping out a lot so I figured she was new. And testing me out. Still. Not tripping. Cool-so just gimme a regular mani. My nails are thin. But why she file my nails with the roughest emeryboard like I'm getting tips. The grow out of it all. Still!! Not tripping. I looked at my toes again like, I still hate it. My trippy Nikki on the inside was like "it is time" but nope. Fine, I pick out a neutral color so you can't tell how short my stubbyazz piggies are now and asked her to repaint them so that way, I can at least leave in a better state than I came and they still get paid for some kind of service. Girl-why the dude at the front come over with the top half of his face frowned up like "$50!!!! YOU PAY $50 for polish!!! I'm like-TF. I was gonna pay. And tip. But why you so mad???? Also, how you know I won't fight you tonight little man? now I wanna be wit the shitz but I'm 42 so I just said a few curses at him. Plus, focus edibles had my back in my time of need. Moral of the story-they are so used to taking our money with out service. He never asked me any questions. They will do a good jobs some days and then other days they will rush and cut your fingers when doing manicures. Cute pedicures, lots of colors. Not a good manicure. I got a no chip manicure, and an hour after my appointment the paint was already peeling off. Simple things like washing my hair or doing the dishes made entire nails of color pop right off. Pretty disappointing to pay an upcharge for no chip, and the polish falls off the day it's done. read more

Everyone wore masks (customers and nail techs), everyone got their temperature checked when they walked in, instructed to use hand sanitizer and there was plexiglass between the nail tech and customer at each station. Ive been to CiCi's a couple times before (all not great experiences) but this time is the last straw. Came to get my acrylics off and get a no chip manicure. After 30 minutes of waiting and RUDE RUDE owners I will never be back again. Disappointing Pedicure I had a pedicure here last month while visiting Geneva. My pedicure was mid-week in the afternoon. When I arrived I was directed to pick out my nail color and wait up front, which was just fine. I then waited 20 minutes past my appointment time. My service was for one of the nicer pedicures, but it was anything but relaxing or well done. I think the technician was rushed to make up time. After I left I found spots where polish wasn't completely applied or was smudged. The price I paid was the same as my usual salon, but the experience and pedicure itself was sub-par. Maybe I would have received better service if I were a regular customer, but I would definitely not recommend this business. read more

I use to come here a lot in high school, and they were good back then. I was recently in town to meet with my family before leaving for vacation. I wanted to get my nails done pretty funky with a bunch of different colors. I came in with intentions for a full set of acrylic, but they insisted on doing a dip powder. I was very skeptical at first but I went ahead and did it, I AM SO HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS. I will warn you, the process of dip powder does look like it's going to be bad because the powder kinda bunches up. But at the end they file and put a clear coat. Just be patient and wait for the end result! My nail tech looked at the picture of what I wanted and kept referring back to the photo throughout the process. She was patient and helped me pick the colors that best matched the photo. They have an abundance of colors in all shades! She even wanted to make sure the order of the colors was what I wanted on both hands. These were the colors I picked and wanted. I've noticed that there's this negative associations with nail technicians and their customers. I feel like some customers leave unhappy because they wish they spoke up with what the wanted or wanted changed. Don't ever feel that way when you walk into Cici. All the technicians I've had do such an amazing job not only with the nails but also making sure they do the best they can to ensure I am happy. read more

As a guy it's very intimidating for me to get a pedicure or even walk into a nail salon. Cici's is the first nail salon that I've ever been to and it was honestly a great experience! When I walked in, I was astonished by the whole layout and design of the salon. Everything looks super high end and the employees are super knowledgable about the tools and products that they use. They use all new and sealed tools for each person so cleanliness gets 5/5 from me. The chairs have a massage function that really gets the tight knots out of your back from top to bottom with nice calming music plays throughout the salon. The mood of the whole salon is very calming and relaxing, the salon looked and felt very high end to me. They do have 2 entrances, one of them is facing State street and the other is facing the opposite direction. I recommend going through the back entrance that's facing Hamilton street because there will be more parking spaces available. Jimmy and CiCi are the owners, they're very fun and friendly, it seemed to me that they had very good relationships with the other customers and were very welcoming towards me. First time experience and definitely will come back again! They also have a punch card system for points/rewards so there's definitely a reason to come back and be a regular here. read more
