Since her stay was only two-days, this needed to be soon. I called M & S and they responded within 30-minutes of me making the call. This isn't a large company, so you will most likely have the owner responding to your service call, as was the case with my call. The two man crew was very methodical in diagnosing the problem: low freon. They checked the system completely for a leak. Not only the unit outside, but the air handler in the attic. Most companies would have simply thrown freon into the system, charged you an arm and a leg, and left knowing they'd be back to recharge the system soon. After thoroughly checking the system, the owner still couldn't get the cold side of the heat pump to work. Cycling the unit from heat to A/C, and patiently measuring pressure and temps with gauges and electronic thermometers, the system began producing cold air again. The response time was great. The service was complete. The price was very reasonable considering what I have had to pay for similar work in the past. The owner of this company knows that word of mouth can either make or break a company. He works hard to make sure words about him and his are good. They even removed their shoes at the front door before heading up to the second floor to check for the leak in the handler unit in the attic. I would strongly recommend this company.

I have dealt with Taylor Oil for years and hoped they had trucks out even at this hour. I called and left a message. About 10 minutes later I get a call from JAY TAYLOR, the owner. Jay said the trucks were all booked for the evening and he set me up for the morning delivery. I was OK with that. About 30 minutes later, Jay called to say that he was coming over, himself, to give me enough oil to get me through the night. He came a bit later in bitterly cold weather, put the oil in and waited until I could reset the furnace to be sure it was working. Jay is a great example of friendship and customer service.
