Lyla is my older girl that just got diagnosed with cushings disease. I wanted to find the perfect place to board them that would be a good experience for both. I am so grateful to have found just train the dog training. I received multiple updates every day. My dogs were at ease from the very beginning. Victoria was so patient with the many questions I had and addressed all of my concerns prior to their stay. She gave the dogs time to feel comfortable before they left with her for their stay. I was honesty shocked when they hopped into her van for pickup after meeting with her. My dogs had a wonderful experience! I was shocked at how happy and relaxed my rescue was. They adored her and I always knew that if I was at the beach or across the ocean in London, that I could trust that the dogs and my home were both in very capable hands. Joanie knows the island and comes highly recommended by the vet hospital. She is truly worth her weight in gold and goes above and beyond, treating your pets as if they were her own. The Jolly Walker is so much more than simply taking your dogs for a walk. I feel so fortunate to have found Paws First, which gives me the option to have my pets cared for in their own home. The ability to book online makes arranging for pet sitting so easy and convenient. Response time is always very quick, and the rates are reasonable for the peace of mind these people provide. I love getting email updates on how my dogs are doing. Even when they're naughty and get into the trash or have a little accident, everything is in order when I get home and my dogs are happy and loved. **Need to add an update because of one visit in particular. It has taken me a while to be able to write this. Over the Summer, I had the amazing folks from Paws First watching my dogs while I was away for the weekend out of state. My senior dog's health had been in decline for a while, but it didn't seem to be cause for too much concern- just typical old dog stuff. One night, her health took a very sudden and dramatic turn. It was clear that if she were brought in to the the vet that she would not be returning. I didn't want my old girl's last moments to be spent someplace unfamiliar. Her vehicle was spacious and clean, her timing for pickup was punctual and she sent me photos and location information all along the way. She also introduced me to some calming music that seemed to help my cats relax on the road. She had extra supplies on hand for the journey as well. I wish I could give her more stars because she went above and beyond any expectations I or my family had.
