To condense my pet's traumatic experience - The business was apparently experiencing a staff shortage, knowingly attempted to trim both of my dog's nails in an unsafe manner, and did not inform me of any injury. After driving the 2 miles back to my home, my elderly dog was bleeding profusely and the source of the blood was challenging to find. An emergency vet visit revealed his front canine tooth was shattered and there was a large laceration on his tongue. Per my vet, this injury occurs with impact. Only after 3 conversations did the groomer reveal she had both my dogs on an elevated table alone at once and my senior dog "may have" hit his face or head because the groomer was 'worked up'. I could explain in depth the attitude of the groomer, the lack of professionalism from the business, and the troubling way this was mismanaged but the details aren't necessary. I hesitate to post the pictures of his injuries because they're gruesome. In the end I was put in touch with their insurance company as requested for reimbursement for my dog's extensive vet bills and I believe that his vet services will be reimbursed. That being said, this in no way accounts for an unavoidable injury for Todd. I thought I was going to lose him given the volume of blood and his age. I would not bring any animal to a business that operates with such blatant disregard for the safety of the pets in their care.

This last time they had a new person that I made an appointment with for a face trim, nails and my dog's back end. I repeated it twice what I wanted done. She clipped her nails in a back room and then I had to ask her to trim her face. She claimed she didn't know what I wanted. When I brought my dog home I noticed she didnt do her back end either. I then called to say what wasnt done again. Same response. Not professional. Don't make excuses. Apologize for the error and make amends. Since they couldn't be professional and own up to the error I will now find someone that actually does professional grooming

On top of that, the place is fascinating with rescued animals, koi breeding tanks, loads of aquatic plant options. Their pond supplies are limited because that's not their focus. I had used this place before with a different owner and my experience was excellent. Unfortunately not this time. It felt to me just like a business more than they actually care for the animals.
