4/10 for just the presentation of the food How can something be flavorful but have no flavor? What you'll taste is red bell pepper onions and that's it and the sauce you put on it. The chicken itself you'll taste the pepper but no seasoning to it. We ordered TWO different meals but when we were looking at it closely and it was the exact same chicken concoction the only thing different is the sauces you chose and the breading. There was barely meat just filler of broccoli,onions,tomatoes, and red bell pepper. The fries had no seasoning but then some bites did they were soggy and well not the best fries we've had. If you want a authentic gyro or cheesecake this is not your place to order. I've had both of them before never did I ever see broccoli in them. read more

She said yes and she knows how to accessorize a Salmon Cheesesteak. This was flavorful. $10 and it came with french fries. You know I love that. I found this spot from one of JL Jupiter's YouTube videos. The reviews weren't the best & I couldn't get through on the phone to place my order, but i was determined to try them out bc i was hungry and it's not often that I'm in DE. The inside of the place isn't the greatest looking, but those are usually the spots with the best food *lol* There was a good amount of traffic for pick-up orders (I need to know their secret for getting through to place an order). The wait was about 15mins for my salmon steak and when I say it was worth it! I had to pull over on the side of the road so that I could thoroughly enjoy it. It was perfectly seasoned, not too salty and it had just the right amount of cheese & peppers & onions. Even the potato wedges that came with it were awesome. I was excited to try this place as it was highly recommended by a family member. I ordered the lobster cheesesteak. I was unimpressed as it had filler in it. I've never had a lobster roll or lobster sandwich with filler (imitation crab meat) in it. But let me add...the lobster cheesesteak was packed with flavor and the fries tasted really fresh. They should've let me know they didn't take cards for payment when I ordered but it was ok & the people working there were great!!! Although the food was good... Was so excited to finally try this place out as the pics of the food they have been sharing on social media looked delicious. Unfortunately, our first time experience was an epic fail. A group of us ordered food for lunch today and was placed at exactly 12:01pm. We were told told it should be ready by 12:50pm. The person who was supposed to pick up the food checked in at 12:50 and was told the food wasnt ready yet. He ended up not getting our order until 1:43 PM!!! No one even bothered to update him with the status so he had to keep asking about it. The front workers/person taking orders over the phone don't seem that friendly either. Now onto the food.. I will admit and give them credit for the ones that were made right: curry chicken, teriyaki chicken and teriyaki salmon. But that's about the only thing that was good. Two of the orders were completely missing the sauce which made the steak even worse as it had no flavor whatsoever. I was also told the shrimp cheesesteak wasn't that great and not worth ordering either. To top the icing on the cake, I get to almost the end of my meal only to find A SMALL PIECE OF HAIR!!! ... So disappointed. We will definitely not be returning here nor will we be recommending the place. Good food but slow and poor customer service. read more

They provide a plethora of sauce options, however you do have to inquire if they are available. The flavor lingers. A halal space inside a space. I'm been rooting for this Brother for a few years now. But my last experience was the worst. He should probably take some courses on how to run a business and employee retention! You do not have an employee walk out and then you continue to stay open. Then ended up losing out on money Because he gave away all the food after a 2 hour wait. Believe me it was my Cousin who wanted to wait and I was high so all I did was laugh the whole time! The first location was a whole in a wall but the newest location is a makeshift kitchen in the back of an Art Studio! Oh and the Artist jumped in to help him this night! If I could give this place less than one star I absolutely would!! Where do I begin we ordered the lobster and crab cake cheesesteaks and the chicken and shrimp over rice. The customer service from start to finish was trash!!! We weren't informed that the wait time was an hour and forty five minutes for carry out when there were less than 10 people in front of us until after we had already paid . So after over a two hour wait we received an extra drink for our trouble. Both sandwiches were overly covered in sauce with soggy bread. Also loved the pieces of shell in them great job!! The chicken and shrimp taste as dirty as the grill it came from. The drinks were more sugar than tea. So after having to dilute them with half a bottle of water. When I first started patronizing this establishment the food was good. Since then they lack in consistency. My orders were consistently wrong. The individuals they have working the counter do t really seem as if they have a good grasp of what they're doing. I'm sorry to say that as a black owned business they must be better than the competition and focus on consistency. I haven't been back there in months and I may never go back. I love hole-in-the-wall, family owned restaurants. In fact we avoid chain restaurants with everything We've got bc to us their food all tastes the same & is over-priced for what you usually get. When I came across this place, after reading the reviews I wanted to try it. Sooo glad I did! Our dishes were absolutely delicious & didn't disappoint me or my husband. I ordered teriyaki jerk lamb w/ chicken over rice for hubby. For myself, lamb & shrimp w/ ginger sauce w/ xtra sauce. Both amazing! No you don't want to plan on eating there bc they're more set up for carry out. Also I had problems finding them so I called & discovered that they share the space w/ Momma Gs. The food is amazing I would've given 5 stars but the service is so slow and unprofessional. I don't know if it's because the same people taking the orders for the food are the bartenders for the club it's in but the lady tells me 15 min for the food I'm like ok I'll wait 45 min go by nothing is said to me like we're behind in the kitchen or nothing I'm just waiting. This was the worst experience I've had with them and I've been eating this food since it was made in front the house. I'll continue to eat the food but they gotta do better with the service and communication between the kitchen and the women taking the order. They share the space with a soul food restaurant and when you walk in some employees are for one and some the other and you don't know until you attempt to order and they let you know for dessert you have to order and pay here for lamb here. Also they only accept cash or cashapp. I ordered the lamp and shrimp concoction with rice, mixed veggies and jerk sauce. Well the presentation was not it but they gave me ample food. The sauce was spilling g out of the tray and it included a few hand prints on it. I ordered a slice of pineapple upside down cake from the soul food place and when I tasted it it was extremely dry but I could tell on the first day it was good imagine 4 day old cake. I threw it out. For a quick spot to grab food yes this place may be it but also they have a line and a wait and those taking the orders are also doing the cooking so I apologize as quick is not the word I will say carry out instead. If I could give negative stars I would. Was very excited to try this place with my friends. The girl taking orders had the WORST attitude and customer service. When We finally got to the front of the line she told us to hold on while she took phone orders. We ordered at 5:45pm and was told the food would be ready in 40 minutes. Left to kill time and came back at 6:30. Was told she didn't know the status of our food. At 6:45 I told her it's been an hour and I'd like to know the status of our food, she said there were two orders in front of ours. Asked again at 7 and was told the chicken for my food was being made and that's all she's waiting on. At 7:15 I was told now she's waiting for the steak to be made for my friend's order. I told her I was leaving at 7:45 which is 2 hours later. I stood and waited and watched as other customers experienced the same treatment I did. One person simply asked for extra sauce and she went in the kitchen and COMPLETELY FORGOT about the customer. We eventually left around 7:50 and NEVER received our food. Just HORRIBLE read more

The food is good, however on 2 occasions I walked in the establishment and the staff were not wearing masks. When I told them they didnt have a mask on, they slowly put their mask up as if I'm wrong. This is Covid. The sign on the door says it is required for everyone to have a mask on upon entering the business so why is this not the same for workers who are cooking, packaging and handling the food?
