Roman the owner spent a lot of time working with me to create my perfect kitchen…read more Unlike many of the kitchen designers I worked with prior he actually seemed to care about the final product and his experience clearly showed in the many recommendations on ideal kitchen design he recommended. From the start, I told him I was on a strict timeline with COVID and really needed to get everything done as quickly as possible. He gave a competitive price and the cabinets I selected was the exact cream wood cabinet I had been dreaming of.However I never received an invoice detailing the exact cabinets bought. I requested that he accept the cabinets from the factory and inspect them prior to delivery to my home to reduce incorrect cabinets being delivered and any damage. He agreed and and advised that should not be an issue. On the date of likely delivery I called to find out the status of my cabinets. After several calls /emails Roman informs me that my cabinets did arrive (like a week prior!)but one of the cabinets was not ready so he did not accept delivery and those were sent to storage. I was not happy since I had emphasized the need to get everything as quickly as possible and he had not even communicated this information to me or given me a choice. I requested that all cabinets minus the pending be delivered immediately . When they arrived my contractor called me frantic about multiple cabinets with damage. 3 cabinets had significant damage and others had more minor scratches or paint dents. Cabinets were delivered in cardboard boxes with no protective coverings. I called Roman immediately to relay what I had been told by my contractor. I was upset after not receiving my cabinets on time and to find so many with damage. His behavior was rude unhinged and unprofessional. Yelling at me throughout -He was completely unapologetic - as if it was completely normal to have so many damaged cabinets. He was dismissive - as if I was unreasonable to expect the cabinets to be packaged in a way that would minimize damage. After essentially hanging the phone up on me, as I tried to follow-up the status of the return of my damaged cabinets he refused to continue any contact with me and transferred me to a rep named Skye. In the end Skye was able to get my damaged cabinets changed. However he was snippy and rude in the process. Even to get them to pick up the damaged cabinets initially I was given a ridiculous song and dance that I needed to depose of them even though the contract states clearly it's their responsibility. I would certainly advise anyone to avoid this kitchen design store after my horrific experience. I like to support small businesses but they also need to earn the love. And this place is full of a lot of unrestrained craziness.

His estimate was reasonable and his explanation as to how he would tackle the job was excellent. Based on our conversation, we hired Daniel to complete the job while we were away on vacation. Daniel came prior to our departure to prep the job (install flush mount wooden floor grates, replace a door saddle that was broken, etc). On the day we left, Daniel came to move a solid oak table and a large couch that we were unable to move ourselves. There was no additional charge for this service (we removed the remaining furniture from the areas being worked on). Daniel completed the job over a three day period while we were away. After it was completed, our adult son met Daniel to inspect the job and to satisfy the balance due. My son shared pictures of Daniel's workmanship. The floors came out absolutely amazing and unlike the last person who worked on the floors, there were no stains or marks in untreated areas and the cleanup was extraordinary. Daniel and my son also moved the table and couch back into place. We returned from vacation a couple of days ago and got to view the end result was better in person than the pictures conveyed.
