Mary insisted that I needed a whole new faucet because they couldn't get the parts. She sent over a moron who didn't know what he was doing. He installed faucet which leaked again after a few days. They another moron to clear a drain outside. He put a hose in something which wasn't a drain without knowing where it went. Last straw when I spoke to her husband the owner about another leak he told me shower head needed to be replaced which involved knocking down a tile wall. My handyman fixed it in 45 minutes. They lie and then cheat. They put in a faucet which they told me was sigma which was actually a cheap knockoff. Stay away from this company. They are dishonest and incompetent. read more

I needed several frozen valves replaced, a new faucet installed, a shower faucet handle rebuilt & an outside spigot replaced. The shower rebuild kit was so old it had to be located & picked up from plumbing supply. (All of this in under 4 hrs! Including the round trip to plumbing supply) Other plumbers I contacted acted like they were doing me a favor ( just answering/returning a call was a "me"problem, apparently)? As pleased as we were the first time that Werner's "rescued" us is as happy as we are with the second service call: problems with water temperature led the tech to believe that it was a faulty mixer in a faucet - TWO HOURS on the road to find it (without checking in) and being charged an exorbitant fee for his time away...and the problem is still not solved. The first time I used Werners Mike came and was great. Fast and good. The second and third time I didn't get Mike. I got someone else. I'll be kind and not mention his name. This plumber has a large truck, but apparently there aren't any parts on it. No matter what part you need its going to require him to make a run to the plumbing supply store while the clock is running at $165 an hour. The first time he came he need a rubber sleeve part. He was gone for 45 minutes. Big bill. The next visit, today, I needed a new pop up stopper assembly for my bathroom sink. Standard size. After looking on his truck for 10 minutes says he doesn't have it but can get it. I said don't bother. I don't need another big bill. Out of the 3 things I needed fixed one got jury rigged and the other two didn't get fixed. So I ended up going to Home Depot and buying the parts and crawling under the sink. She set up an appointment for the next day. The technician arrived on time. The repair was made in a very satisfactory manner. He worked cleanly and left no trace behind. A great experience from start to finish. Almost seven years ago to the day, these folks installed a new gas burner and hot water heater for me. Excellent service then and even better service now. I was having some issues with my pilot light and a leak. Mary in the office was efficient and provided great customer service. Super nice! Fast forward to this Saturday morning. Kurt arrived in a timely fashion. He was friendly, credible and very knowledgeable. The price was reasonable for all the work done in my home, and again Kurt was absolutely wonderful. It has been over 10 years since last needing a plumber. So when the need arose to replace some faucets and take care of other deferred maintenance, I decided to check here on Yelp to see what people were saying about my last go-to company. That company had many problem reviews, so I looked further and found Werner's. Werner's seemed to have consistently good reviews, so I gave them a call. Was able to get an appointment just a few days away. Mike and Jake arrived right on time and immediately scoped out the job and covered the floors in the work areas with tarps. They worked well together, including struggling to cut out some stubborn rusted fittings. (I would have been throwing tools and using foul language for sure). All of the work was done neatly and competently. Cleanup was immaculate, with all the debris placed in my trash cans, including breaking down boxes and plastics, and putting those into our recycling bins! Thanks guys! read more

He actually had the nerve to turn his back to me as I was speaking to him, and continued to speak with his associates. Completely ignored me several times and was unprofessional to say the least. We really didn't want a chop-shop type place coming in with workers who you couldn't understand. Just want to let everyone out there know Werner's Plumbing is AMAZING!!! My two year old (who we are trying to potty train) thought it might be a good idea to pull all the toilet paper out of my cabinet unroll it and try to flush about 4 rolls of tp!!!! Well as you can imagine it was a total disaster!!! Most of the paper went down. Right down into my trap!!! That was totally clogged. Not only that ,we had to break up the basement floor to get to the clog. To add insult to injury it was the night we had a freak rain storm that dumped about 10 inches on the town of Islip.
