He offered to come back, but he also stated he checked his work three times. Found to many voids, had his opportunity , lost trust . Unprofessional and poor quality…read more Our first interactions should have been a warning: 1. He rescheduled twice before finally making it out to do my car. 2. After only 1 hour, he said he was done. Shame on me for paying him and letting him leave before I looked at my car. I thought he was reputable and did good work. (How the heck does he have so many good reviews?!?!) Once I went out to look at my car, I saw: 1. The exterior was covered is streaks like a wet towel was rubbed all over and then not dried. 2. The wheels and emblems were not detailed. It looks like someone hurriedly wiped them down. 3. The interior was despicable. It looked worse than before the detail! 4. The cargo area looked like it hadn't been touched. It definitely wasn't vacuumed or wiped down. 5. The dashboard was covered in fuzzes from the cloth, and it was covered in water spots (again like a wet towel was used and not dried). It also had spots of residue from whatever cleaner/polish was used. 6. The clock and radio were covered in smudges. 7. The vents and doors were not detailed. When I contacted Joe to address my concerns, he never replied. Instead, he contacted my friend to complain about my complaint. He swore to her that the car was spotless and that he q-tipped the vents. (Both false) When I still hadn't heard back the next day, I tried to message Joe again. But I couldn't because he blocked me! I cannot believe that someone would run a business this way. I paid him good money to perform a service that he has yet to come through on. I still haven't heard from him, so I'm chalking this up as an $160 loss. I'm really disappointed in the immaturity and lack of professionalism demonstrated by this business. Next time, I'll take my car to Pasadena Car Wash where they'll do a better job for $40.

He has come up with every reason you can think of to avoid it. At first, I gave him the benefit of the doubt, but then I realized he was lying. And now, as far as I'm concerned, he's a thief. I've read a lot of good reviews about his work, but that has not been my experience at all. I've been more than patient with him, but this has been going on since March of this year. He stopped returning my texts the other day when I asked for my money back. I'm only posting this as a warning for anyone else. Here is an example of excuses: weather-even if they called for rain he would cancel, regardless of what was actually happening, concussion-even though he kept posting finished details on Facebook, too busy-even though I already paid for mine, and then he said he was trying to spend more time with family-then posts more finished details.
