I had my SUV detailed last week. Overall, I was pleased initially. The next day, I noticed a few things that didn't meet my expectations. I really didn't want to complain because the young man that did the detail was so nice and professional but for what I paid, I wanted the issues corrected. I called the office and spoke to Katie. I explained my dilemma and she immediately asked when I was available for someone to come back out. Katie was so nice and assured me everything would be taken care of. She scheduled an appointment to have a tech named Craig come inspect my vehicle. My mind was put at ease after we talked. Craig came out a week later to look into the things I wasn't pleased with. I showed him what I wasn't happy with. He explained to me that even though I pointed out what my issues were that he was going to do a full inspection to make sure he didn't see anything else the previous tech missed. I was impressed by that because I would have expected him to correct the things I wasn't happy with and call it a day. Craig was very thorough. He redid the items I had an issue with, wiped down the entire vehicle, including the tires/rims and put more tire polish on. He cleaned my dull headlights and made them look so much better as an added bonus for the inconvenience. I was so impressed and appreciative. They looked so much better. Craig went above and beyond and I was very pleased with with the finished product. I tried to tip him several times and he refused. I totally appreciate the effort that was put in to making sure I was a satisfied customer. read more

I wrote an earlier review but didn't publish it because I wanted to see how it all played out. As a result, I've bumped it up from one star to two. That's .75 star for how beautifully the technician, George, detailed the car. .25 for the manager not charging me the extra $75 for sand removal. But if I hadn't complained ... I won't go into how their website allows you to make an appointment, only to have it "not in the system" when you get a phone call to book an appointment. What prompted the earlier, scathing writing was how I authorized their lowest priced package - the car is being sold tomorrow - and got moved up to a more expensive package WITHOUT ME AUTHORIZING IT. I got a text saying they needed to charge $75 more for sand in the car. Fair, no doubt that was true, so I texted back "OK". A short time later, a voicemail was left for me that I didn't hear till two hours later, saying they needed to do the [name of more expensive option] due to how extensive the cleaning needed was. Since I didn't hear about this until basically too late to stop them, they went ahead without my authorization, and did it anyway. There was an additional $75 "severity fee" which I guess can mean anything; in this case it was due to glass in the car and a technician being cut by it. Totally reasonable! It seems the shop that replaced the windshield, etc., after a deer hit it, didn't do everything promised but that's a different story. Anyway, the bottom line is I had booked it for a $99 service and was invoiced $162 beyond the $99 deposit I had to put down when I booked. I did complain to the very nice front desk person, who called their boss. The $75 sand charge was removed. But I still ended up paying twice what I planned and booked. I guess the bottom line is this: they do very good work - the car is immaculate. But I would use every caution in dealing with them, especially to get everything in writing and insist on prior authorization before they do anything. read more

I'm a little bit disappointed with the detailing. The front desk staff was very helpful and nice, but the detailing itself did not seem to be very high quality. My seats were left with dirt on them that I could scrape away with my finger nail, so I question how thoroughly it was shampooed. I brought it in primarily for an odor, and I can still smell the odor in addition to the smell of the cleaner. A piece from the interior of my car was left on top of the car, and when leaving, it fell off the roof and I had to pick it up off the side of the road. I've never had mobile detailing done before, always taken my car to a car wash. Earl came out yesterday, was on time, took just over an hour to really do a deep cleaning on my car inside and out. When he was done, I took a quick glance in. It looked so much better I wasn't going to do a through inspection for any little spot that may have been missed. I've driven my car twice since then and have not noticed one missed thing. Both times, getting in my car, it feels so nice. It feels like a brand new car. I don't think it has ever been this clean in the time I've owned it. So much nicer than going and having to wait at a car wash too! read more

When I called the next morning I was informed that no appointment was set up and no slots were available. They recommended that I call the office directly in the future. The individual (Tony) showed up on time and reviewed the car with me for any special concerns I might have. After initialing the paperwork, Tony immediately started. Note that the temperature that day was in the 90s and it probably felt like 100 for anyone working outside with no cover. Tony went at it for 3+ hours. The result was amazing. The car looked new--particularly the interior which had had lots of ground in pet hair. All in all, a great experience. I will recommend this service to my friends!! read more

I booked an appointment with this detailing business with ease. I was contacted and given a few options after explaining what my car needed. I got an appointment to have someone come out. The young man came out to detail my car and just DIDN'T do a good job. I paid $250 for detailing services and I could've done all the things he did (and didn't do) with the right tools. My windows were still dirty. My rear view mirror wasn't cleaned. The seats still looked dirty. It wasn't worth nearly $250 for the service provided. It's awesome that they come out to you but that's the best thing they do. I only gave two stars for the customer service I received BEFORE detailing services were provided. read more

I had cause (my dog decided that my truck was the perfect place to "mark his territory") to have On The Spot Detailing come out and try to clean up my mess of a vehicle. I found them through Yelp, and the response time was measured in minutes, not hours. Each response was professional and handled with care, professionalism, and pride. When they understood the perceived (on my part) urgency to get this taken care of, I was on the schedule a day and a half later. I received a call from On The Spot to make sure what I had ordered was the best option, which they helped modify, saved me some money, and got on the schedule. Shortly after that, I received an email with all the pertinent information for my upcoming visit by their technician. On the day of my appointment, George arrived on time. He was professionally dressed, had a big smile, and let me know he would be a few hours, but not to worry, it would look better than I could expect once he was done. I have worked in customer service, and hearing that always makes me cringe. George took so much pride in his work and care in ensuring that what he had proffered would be delivered. It's not a surprise he would propose such a lofty goal. My truck LOOKS (and smells) LIKE NEW! He is the epitome of a caring professional. I really think this is almost a five star review but I'm sure next time it will be one. The five stars would be for Darryl, Lakia, and Jesse. Darryl did an amazing job with the detailing, Lakia answered all my annoying questions about wifi and tv while I waited for my car, and Jesse returned a floor mat to me that was forgotten at the shop on Christmas Eve. Lakia is super friendly and patient as well. For these reasons alone, I would come back to on the spot mobile detailing. I requested quotes from various mobile detailers for interior and exterior detailing. On the spot responded promptly and answered all my questions. I asked about a waiting area and was told there was a waiting area with tv, wifi, refreshments, and masks. I was initially given a quote for $150 based on everything I checked off but then was contacted by Rob to say that the quote was actually $209 based on my requests. I decided to stick with them since I had the opportunity to update my requests or find a new detailer. When I arrived, I told Adam that I was concerned about scratches and if they could buff it out. He said yes and that it would take additional time. I was also told that the service would take about three hours (from 10:00-1:15) which is why I decided to wait. It ended up taking five hours which I did not expect. There wasn't really an update until 1:50 when I was told that my car would be ready in thirty minutes. I ended up leaving at 3:00 pm. I had a lot of dog fur embedded in the car but an earlier update would have been nice since I would have gone home to tend to my furry friend. I wish more could have been done about the scratches on my car as well. I would also recommend more details on the receipt - I could not tell if I received a sealant upgrade or not since it wasn't written on the receipt. The communication was great and I was able to get a quote, responses to my questions, and set up the appointment all very quickly over Yelp. I was also able to use a coupon through Yelp for the service so that was nice. They have the option to either go to you or bring the car in, but in my case it was raining and I didn't have a large enough garage for the mobile service so I received a call the day before letting me know about the rain, asking if I could bring it in and giving a $15 discount. Both technicians and the person at the front desk were all very friendly and everyone was wearing a mask. I paid extra to take care of pet hair and the inside of the car looked great. Honestly no pet hair left at all, but the first thing I noticed was the smell - in a good way. Rather then a wet dog smell that had been there for a while, it didn't smell like anything at all. The exterior of the car also looked very nice and overall I was very pleased with the service. This was actually a gift for my husband who spent a lot of time complaining it wasn't necessary, but even he had to admit it was nice having a clean car. So if you are looking for a good gift idea I would definitely recommend car detailing for the person in your life that wouldn't do it for themself. The only hiccup had to do with some software problems, which were minor but I saw that was also mentioned in some other reviews. Shortly after rescheduling the appointment I received another call from someone else in the office asking to reschedule the appointment and not finding a record of the previous change. There was also a glitch when it came to the payment. For some reason the discount wasn't originally reflected and then too large of a discount was added so I was asked to call back the next day to pay. I brought a car here for headlight restoration. While waiting a customer's older model vehicle came out after the car and engine had been cleaned. It looks almost new, really nice. My headlights - see the before and after pics. They had an issue working the lenses which are possibly parts made to different environmental coating standards. I expressed my concerns and he assured me that the issue had been addressed with those involved and it would not occur again. Brittany was my technician and she arrived promptly on time and did a great job with my interior. My car looks better than it has in years! Usually I like to do my own cleaning and washing as I take the time to make sure the car looks great and pay attention to detail. Now I've been so busy I neglected the car and don't have the time. absolutely disgraceful...zero attention to details! first off, I picked this spot due to the location and Yelp review. I was quoted initially $300 to leave the car over night with them to properly have the ozone generators do its magic. I dropped the car off at 1ish called around 4 to see how everything is and asked if I could check out the vehicle. I was surprised with an additional $35 pet hair charged...hidden charges! the next day I went to pick up the vehicle at 1030 when it was promised to be done by 9. the vehicle wasn't completed, at around 11ish they brought the vehicle out...and it looks as if they done absolutely nothing but ran it through a machine washer. Slightly annoyed I pointed out every single spot of dust including hair balls that still stuck to the chair, the wheels still have brake dust on them!! the manager came out and assured me that it will be all fix in an hour. I came back and the vehicle is no where ready, see the picture for yourself...these people lack attention to details, communication between the front and back crew and most of all experience! their front staff will talk big but service will not be perform as evident by my dirty engine bay. The cars before and after, especially the 03, was amazing! These guys did not awesome work, but performed a small miracle. Great employees and wonderful communication. After going fishing, my cooler unfortunately tipped over and spilled fish guts and water in my trunk. I tried washing it myself but the whole car smelled awful and my wife refused to even ride in the car. I got a few quotes from some companies and On the Spot had a reasonable price and was nearby. They spent a few hours cleaning the whole car, and the smell is completely gone. I also have to give points for their honesty as the initial worker recommended Ozone treatment but the owner reviewed the car and said it wasn't necessary. Upon arrival they were unable to locate my reservation which is not terrible because they still accommodated me. Receptionist was nice and cordial. However, when I went to pick up my vehicle all of the door seals where still dirty, some of the interior surfaces hadn't been vacuumed and some hadn't been wiped down. I pointed it out, had to wait an additional 30mins and still when the car was returned, one of the door seals was still dirty and some interior surfaces not wiped down. They did and amazing job detailing the interior and exterior of our over worked Subaru that had a Dr. Pepper stain on the driver's seat (my wife has an addiction...). Not only did they get the stain out completely - but these amazing guys went the extra mile today. I had to take my grandmother's old cat to the vet and she had an accident on my front passenger seat! Jeremy and Corey didn't even flinch - they just said they'd take car of that too!
