After several messages , The first excuse is that we send you a payment request and not an invoice via PayPal and that was suspect of fraud?..seriously?... we have helped you in the past with parts with payments via PayPal. But then we provided with the office invoice as well as the Paypal invoice, and still silence on your part, we know now that by then you had already decided to screw us but you didn't have the balls or the professionalism to let us know immediately. Then after we called , the next excuse was that somebody was offering you six months warranty?, you could have asked us for the same warranty, but in reality, I don't think who you bought the laser from is going to be true to the warranty because it's very difficult to warranty a laser unit and not knowing the rest of the physical state of your old QSS32 furthermore the laser will most likely still come from us, I will be paying very close attention, they probably offer you six more warranty just to make the sale. I'm pretty sure of that. We were also considering purchasing the boards for your E6 machine, but at this point that is not gonna happen FYI , We are now one of the very few companies in the country that deal with old equipment , printers, scanners, film, processors, and everything related to photo finishing and actually have inventory in our warehouse and pretty soon will be the only one as two of the other companies are closing. I defy you to enter this store and not be enticed by the many pens, pencils, markers and various sketch pads and notebooks that are just BEGGING to be drawn and written in! Plus they have a fantastic collection of magazines, a valuable resource for Kent State students in the arts programs. We're so lucky to have this art supply haven in our community.

At McKay Bricker, they review options, mats, and layouts in a way that informs and involves you. And they're just good people; friendly, patient, and willing to talk things through. In terms of quality and attention to detail, I have no complaints. When I brought in a mid 1900s etching, I wanted to frame it in such a way that you'd think it was original to the period. Cass nailed it. A few months later, they framed a page from an 1870 atlas. Today, I brought in a collection of army insignia. Jen took the time to find a mat that was nearly identical in color to a shirt that was issued to soldiers in the 1960s, and then did some math & design magic to make everything fit and work. Are you going to pay more here than you would at Michaels? Almost certainly. But the value you get in the decades of combined experience, the quality of the work, and the customer experience makes going to McKay Bricker a no-brainer.

They provided high-index lenses despite my explicit instructions and medical history. I asked the…read moreoptician multiple times about what lens were in my glasses after informing them of have issues I was having with my new glasses and them trying to adjust and fix the issues. I never got a receipt either. Derek on multiple visits stated they were not high index when I asked him. Until I emailed and demanded the information they sent to lab and a receipt did I see that high index lens are in my glasses. I brought this up and he flat out said we discussed it and I wanted them. That never happened. I had previously informed them multiple times, my eyes cannot adjust to high-index materials. To ensure there was no mistake, I provided their office with over five pairs of my previous glasses as physical proof that I only wear regular plastic. I also provide my eye records for the past 4 plus years including prescription and receipts that showed last lens were reg plastic not high index. They ignored my medical needs and the physical evidence I provided them. Which has left me with a $748 pair of glasses that are unusable. On top of giving them over 6 plus months to fix the issue. On top of Derek dismissing my concerns questions and not returning phone calls. Its truly sad that as a professional he treats and does this to his patients and lies on top of it. I only wanted to be able to see.
