The day was beautiful, and they have a large back lawn and deck area where we sat and ate. The menu offers mostly traditional Danish dishes of various variety. Not all are equal, but it depends on what you want. We were overall very pleased with our meal. I was able to see inside some of the rooms and they are very charming. Few modern amenities, but perfect for a weekend getaway or honeymoon. If you happen to be anywhere nearby, I think you'l have a pleasant stay.

The food was mediocre and way too expensive for the quality. In addition, there were hidden fees, so we ended up paying for things we didn't order (which is illegal). There was also dust everywhere, even in the drinking glasses, which made the experience even more unappetizing. The owner was very rude and apparently didn't think his business needed to follow the marketing law.

So I had to invite my boyfriend when he came to visit me in Aarhus. The atmosphere is absolutely wonderful.
